Another good phone from Ericsson
Review of Sony Ericsson T28S by
Aharrold
Advantages: Style, size, quality of calls.
Disadvantages: Battery lifetime
...I purchased the T28 after receiving 3 good years
service from an older Ericsson (the GH688).
My experience of Ericsson mobile phones are that
they are easy to use with a well thought out
menu system, and that the sound quality and
signal strength are top notch. On the downside
they are well beaten by others when it comes
to styling.
With the T28 they seem to have addressed the
problem with style. It looks good and is
very light. The quality of calls is as good
as you'd expect from Ericsson and the disply
while small is crisp and clear. Buttons are
small so if you are into SMS'ing you'd want
to buy the chatboard acessory.
The standard battery time is disappointing
compared with other phones but then the batteris
is so much smaller.
All in all, another good phone from Ericsson....

Own Your Sony Ericsson W960i Walkman
Review of Sony Ericsson W960i Walkman by
widyatutuka
Advantages: Great design and slim
Disadvantages: Touchscreen interface not so good and indicates having poor battery life
...More new smartphone generation by Sony Ericsson after P990i type and P1 type, more features like 8GB on board memory, great walkman player, autofocus with dual-LED lights, Wi-fi and other else that similar with the type of Sony Ericsson smartphone before like music recognition, media manager, handwriting recognition, video call, built in camera 3,2 megapixels, GPRS web wherever for internet browsing. Built in great design and slim that make you will never disappointed buy this smartphone compare with Nokia N95 and Nokia N81.
Disadvantages is in the price that still to expensive for medium phone that make Sony Ericsson W960i Walkman a high class mobile phone Unfortunately, due to its annoying touchscreen interface and over-complicated user experience, the phone is a disappointment and this smartphone battery indicates having poor battery...

Sony Ericsson P800
Review of Sony Ericsson P800 by
AMG-A1
Advantages: Good Size + Great Weight
Disadvantages: Lacking in Style + Bad Quality Screen
...P990i which i don't think will be as good in design as the Sony Ericsson P800, and all the newer versions!!!! The phone's camera isn't that good, and it is quite slow at actually taking pictures, (if you are making a cup of tea, dont bother taking the picture, drink the tea, instead, because by the time you have taken the picture, your tea will be stone cold). You can't buy the phone anymore, but you can still buy it from auction sites like e-bay. The phone at the time was great, but as time goes on, technology catches up with you, and before you know it, you have a pre-historic mobile phone. The Sony Ericsson P800 isn't a bad phone it's just getting older!!! There are alot of other good phones to look out for, if you are very interested in a phone like this, and thos are the Nokia 9500 Smartphone, which is great, and the Nokia 7710...

The complete solution for voice and data
Review of Sony Ericsson GS18 by
Paz21
Advantages: Data capabilities, design
Disadvantages: Aerial
...This is a surprising phone from Ericsson. It is CURVY. Ericsson usually make square phones that are usually dull and boring. This phone is an exception. The complete solution for voice and data. The Ericsson data phone GS 18, with its built-in data/fax modem, is specifically designed for those who need an easy to use mobile phone and mobile office solution. The GS 18 comes complete with an RS232 cable to connect to a PC or laptop making working on the move easier than ever. The aerial looks tacky and weak....

Neat addition
Review of Ericsson chatboard by
winprizes2000
Advantages: easier sms-ing
Disadvantages: not standard
...This is a little known but extremely useful mobile phone accessory - and one that is available for avout £10.
The Ericsson chatboard plugs directly into the base of the mobile and supplies a QWERTY keyboard to enable you to type SMS messages quicker and more accurately than via the traditional multi key press method.
There is a fractional time delay between the character being input and appearing on the screen but you soon get used to this. I find the chatboard more user friendly that predictive text input but it is not supplied as standard as does have to be carried seperately though it does come with a neat case.
The chatboard works with T10/18/28 and other new Ericsson mobiles....

Intelligent
Review of Sony Ericsson CF388 by
Paz21
Advantages: Functions
Disadvantages: Size
...The CF 388 Mobile Phone is a lightweight and intelligent flip phone.
This Ericsson Mobile Phone product is no longer in production. Owners of the CF 388 can download the user manual by selecting the "Manuals" section. Upgrade products include the CH 668 and CF 688. The phone is GSM and they come in different stlyes. . There is a large 3-line display for easy reading and an active flip for quick answering. Send an SMS message simply by selecting 1 of 9 canned messages, and read your new messages immediately by using the Quick Menu...

Small, solid, fun - but the battery...
Review of Sony Ericsson T28S by
vischt
Advantages: small, sexy, solid feeling, excellent features
Disadvantages: battery time, aerial, no modem
...After going through a number of mobile phones during the last five years including Nokia, Panasonic, Motorola and Siemens I finally wanted to try out an Ericsson phone. Being Swedish I thought this would be a nice way to show my patriotism, especially since I don't drive a Volvo - or a Saab. Finally Ericsson had a model out that I actually wanted - the sexy small T28s.
So - what's the verdict? I love the new Nokia menu system and was a little bit worried that my new Ericsson would not live up to the challenge. It did - and I now rate them equal to each other in this respect. All necessary features are there and a few more, and I didn't even think about the amall screen as a problem - another positive surprise. Vibration, voice calls, size, quality - everything lived up to my expectations. Except... after a short while a few niggling...

A very good all round multimedia mobile phone
Review of Sony Ericsson W550i by
changed666
Advantages: Small, Lightweight, Stylish, Reasonable size memory
Disadvantages: Earphones don't feel comfortable in the ear
...I spent a few months looking for the right mobile phone for me. Me being young, the phone had to be stylish and the Sony Ericsson had great looks and changeable front and back covers. The sony Ericsson comes with three good games that will keep you entertained for a short while at least but they loose appeal when they have been completed, but new games can be downloaded from WAP at a reasonable cost depending on the game. The Walkman mp3 player on the phone is very good, with all track tags recognised. the phone could have included a card slot for extra storage, but the built-in memory is ov a reasonable size. The camera could have been better but nonetheless is a better camera than most on phones in the same price bracket. there are a lot of settings 2 improve the pictures and also the included PC software can also help improve images...

Sony Ericsson Blurtooth HBH 60
Review of Sony Ericsson Bluetooth HBH-60 Headset by
johnny760
Advantages: Easy to use and install
Disadvantages: Rand less than 10M reality
...Due to the new laws concerning the usage of mobiles whilst driving I upgraded to a bluetooth phone (Sony Ericsson Z600) and bought the Sony Ericsson HBH-60 headset to accompany it.
After the initial hour and a half of charging (using the standard Sony Ericsson charger) it was ready to connect. Connection with the phone is simple. The headset however does not remain connected ,whilst on stand-by, for longer that 5 seconds. This is a good feature as it saves on battery time and reconnection is automatic upon activating the headset button and only takes 1 - 2 seconds. One minor flaw was that this process wasn't noticably covered in the manual and I initially presumed this to be a flaw. Practice with the unit soon clarified this.
The headset sits comfertably on either ear and is easy to quickly attach and take a call with.
Voice...

Sony Ericsson T300
Review of Sony Ericsson T300 by
innovative
Advantages: Easy to use and navigate
Disadvantages: Bit big with lack of top quality features
...The Sony Ericsson was one of the first mobile phones put on the shelves when Sony and Ericsson merged. When the phone was first released it was of a high standard, with advanced features for mobile phones at that time including features such as: Colour Screen, Wap, Polyphonic ringtones(advanced sounding ringtones), multimedia messages(sending messages with pictures in) and downloadable games. All of these are still descent features of the latest phone models but it is not worth buying it now for such a price when you can get a mobile phone with many more features for a slightly larger price. The phone could be alot better with the features of todays latest models: a camera, radio links, java games, mp3, video messaging and a more sleak look. There are accessories for the phone but these are expensive and not good quality, the latest...
