The box was well designed with two draws that simultaneously opened when you pulled out one and inside was lots of other compartments for the battery, the phone, a rather thick instruction manual, a hands free kit and a leather case for the phone. I plugged the charger in and turned it on. After about 5 minutes the phone was on! It takes that long to boot up as it's actually a mini computer running Windows mobile 5.0, the latest software. The screen is massive and the clarity is excellent, better than my PC monitor! One the menu had loaded up, I didn't know what to look at first. ...Last year i decided i was sick of pay as you go mobile's partly because i was spending a small fortune and partly because i found once my credit ran out along with my battery my phone would gather dust untill i topped up again. ...I had use this XDA for about 10 months now. Got it for a bargain price off O2's website - £49.99 @ £19/month for 12 months. It is even cheaper than this today. The performance of this phone is quite slow, and it just freezes often, usually when do you remove it from an ActiveSync. Sometimes I feel like smashing it. But of course the correct solution is to hit the reset button, which is not ideal. Which brings me to the next point. After the reset, it will take about 2 minutes before it will be ready for use. Features wise, it is pretty much Windows Mobile, so if you are a PDA user, there is nothing much to say about it. Other than it is SLOW.
