TD4 Commercial 2001 model

Advantages: Car like, comfortable motorway driving good compromise for 4x4
Disadvantages: not a serious off roader and still has reliability weaknesses

...I bought a second hand commercial model of the Freelander that had previously been leased by an Orange telecom engineer. It had about 46,000 miles on the clock and was in good condition. The commercial version is a lowest specified standard 3 door freelander that has had the seats and windows removed and a proper loadbed installed. This is all done by Landrover Specialist Vehicles so is done very well. The commercail version has the advantage of being classed as a van so the VAT is reclaimable by VAT registered organisations. My one also came with a rear window grill and bulkhead between the drivers cabin and the load bay which means that it looks quite secure. I do a lot of motorway miles and find this a breeze to drive even on the 500 mile trips up to Scotland that I make, even after 8 hours I do not feel wrecked. If you cruised...

Models Behaving Badly

Advantages: Good Concept, Fun To Watch, Entertaining.
Disadvantages: A Bit Slow Sometimes

A Model Book

Advantages: Good story, good twists, entertaining
Disadvantages: Poppy did whinge a LOT

Advantages: Nippy handling, good looks, comfort and economy

..., the Clio is great fun to drive and as I live in the middle of nowhere I can take every opportunity to whizz about the back roads - it really makes me smile! Around town, it's easy to park and the remote locking is a real boon when you have your hands full of shopping bags! In terms of looks, for the price you'll be unlikey to get anything more funky (all my friends are green with envy!) - the sport model comes with a spoiler, body coloured bumpers and wing mirrors, a sunroof, front fogs and alloys. Mine also has metallic paint, and I thik the Clio is a really well-styled car. ...drunk and perfect again, but we all know what happens when you've had one too many, you think you've made yourself look better when infact you look even worse! It was one of those situations where you're so drunk you don't think anyone will realise. Another of my favourite episodes was where the models had a photo shoot in the countryside and they had to model with a certain animal ranging from horses to pigs. Disadvantages: ummm, nope, still can't think of any

...Thought it was time for an update seeing as I've had the car for over 6 months... I'd always had a thing about Audis, I'd love an S6 but the budget won't stretch, so the A4 was an obvious choice. Looking at the range I had the choice of the entry-level 2.0 of the 1.8T in either 2 wheel drive or Quattro. Comparing the performance the 2.0 pushes out 130bhp with the 1.8T raising this to 150bhp, simple choice then. Comparing this with the 3 series, the 318 offers only 112bhp, with the 320 jumping upto 170bhp, though the new model increases capacity to 2.3 litres. After test driving both variants I decided on the 2 wheel drive, though the brochure gives the same 8.4sec 0-60 time, the 2 wheel drive seems quicker, probably as the Quattro has the power being put out to all 4 wheels. I must say though that the Quattro definitely has the edge...

...I purchased the un-perfumed type with a hold rating of 2 circles (out of a maximum of 4) The cream itself is white, thick, as you would expect from many hair styling products. One thing I did notice is the cream a greasy feel about it which is surprising since the tub clearly states "non greasy". ****My opinion**** At first this product is greasy and sticky to the touch, but I find this soon eradicates as it is massaged through the hair. This is a good thing in my opinion, since I am not a great fan of the wet look (unless I have just emerged out of a swimming pool or the ocean), the slicked back look (a bit too retro for me) or the greasy look (no one wants the chip pan look).
