...This is the Second of the Corsa C Models we have owned. Our first car was a 2000 model 1.0 Club which served us well during the 2 years we owned it. The car was cheap to run, nice to drive, but was let down by the basic equipment Vauxhall gave us as Standard. The 2002 Corsa 1.2SXI Model

Advantages: Cheap, reliable little run around
Disadvantages: Waiting for delivery

...I recently bought the 2002 model Vauxhall Corsa 1.2Sxi, I was attracted to it by the great look, only then did I find out what advantages it actually has. It was priced at £8500, with the choice of 3 years intrest free credit. When I was looking round the showroom I was looking at all differnt types of models like the diesel and the petrol 1.2club etc (6999), but none were a patch on the Sxi. The difference being the interior and power to the engine: The interior on a Club is very standard, everything is platic and cheap looking, it has a radio casette, and even a coloured plastic gearnob, however the Sxi hs a CD player, Twin airbag, central locking, alloy wheels, twin spoiler and fog lamps it also has a great sporty effect on the dashboard ( a metallic grey). Advantages: easy to park, good handling, reasonable looks
Disadvantages: under powered, fuel consumption

...2000 model 1.6 ltr automatic clio.. (owned it for 3 months) I would say a reliable car, but more fuel consuming than the 1.4 I had before. The engine is good and so are the features. Interior is not very impressive. I think its fair for the price. Air con is effective but the car is not responsive enough. You have to really push to get some speed out it! And if you do, fuel consumption is considerable. After driving a Merc, I'm not quite happy with the road handling. But overall its a small nippy car. I would recommend a 1.2 manual (under powered but still good for a small car). haven't had any problems apart from a small technical snag with the auto drive (a light keeps blinking on 'D' of auto drive)....

Airfix Dr Who 'Welcome to the TARDIS' 1/12 scale model.

Advantages: Looks great on display when given the time.
Disadvantages: Not for beginnners. The figures' heads, hands and feet.

...Although this model is no longer available direct from Airfix there are still a good number of kits to be found in the shops or on-line in the likes of ebay, and in my opinion is worth hunting down. As a model it will offer enough interest for an experienced model-maker and when finished looks good on display, so will be of interest to Dr Who fans as well. (By the way, it also comes with the TARDIS sound effect when you open the door! The batteries are NOT included.) The kit is well packaged and comes with paints, brushes and glue (although extra paints will be needed for the detailing). It also comes with a model Dr Who and Martha Jones. The relatively large scale means that there is a reasonable amount of fine detail on the moulding (such as surprisingly good wood-grain effect on the TARDIS), and this also means that there are few...

..., the Clio is great fun to drive and as I live in the middle of nowhere I can take every opportunity to whizz about the back roads - it really makes me smile! Around town, it's easy to park and the remote locking is a real boon when you have your hands full of shopping bags! In terms of looks, for the price you'll be unlikey to get anything more funky (all my friends are green with envy!) - the sport model comes with a spoiler, body coloured bumpers and wing mirrors, a sunroof, front fogs and alloys. Mine also has metallic paint, and I thik the Clio is a really well-styled car. Inside you have white dials, recaro sports seats (which even have adjustable lumbar supports and height), quality upholstery and....... plastic handles to tip the front seat forward (so people can get in the back) that fall off! Ford Focus 2007 model

...I have been driving one of these for a year now and think thats long enough to comment on the car. Firstly, the cost of this car when i picked it up was very reasonable. £8,000 for a two year old car with 15,000 miles on the clock is pretty good if im not mistaken. My work requires me to travel some distance every week and therefore, the car gets alot of use. The handling of the car is great! corners are smooth and you hardly move in the seat. Steering is very responsive and smooth which of course is to be expected nowadays but you never know :) Also on the overall performance of the car, the acceleration is pretty good too.
