...When you're travelling through a country which is steeped in history and culture such as italy is, there's nothing like lodging in hotels that are similarly steeped in history and show off the best of that nation's architectural culture. The Holiday inn, Modena fits that particular bill precisely...it's nothing like lodging in ...etc.etc. Suits me sir. If I'm spending the day slogging around ancient ruins, medieval alleyways and tripping over baroque ornamentation, the last thing I want when I lay my weary head to rest is a rickety old metal bed frame, 'rustic' furniture, and hotels just chock-full of 'character'. No sirree bob. I want modernity, non-descript decor, sound-proofed windows and AC that is functional rather than merely decorative. Not always, but mostly. But why would anyone want to visit Modena? Thrustmaster 360 Modena

Advantages: Good build, rubberised grip, looks good.
Disadvantages: Clamping system slightly awkward

...!!NOTE: This review is not for the force-feedback model, as the 'product details' section implies, but is for the version without force feedback!! I am also reviewing the PC model, not the model for consoles! I borrowed this wheel from a friend in order to play Toca Race Driver 2 (great game by the way!!). I have been very impressed by the wheel. The wheel is made by Thrustmaster (whose parent company is Guillemot) and is a replica of the steering wheel found in the Ferrari 360 Modena as the name suggests. The wheel has a sturdy hard black plastic design with a rubberised grip on either side which gives you added control over its movement without the wheel slipping through your hands. Modena Pasta For One....

Advantages: Quick, very easy, cheap
Disadvantages: None

...A quick and very cheap meal for one which can be served hot or cold, as a main dish or as an accompaniment. Ingredients: 1 mug wholewheat pasta (doesn't work with normal pasta) 1 tbsp Modena Balsamic Vinegar/normal balsamic vinegar 1 clove of Garlic Cheese of choice to garnish or try using: Porchini Mushrooms Sweet Peppers Sweet Potatoes Tofu For a bit more substance. For more than one person, just double up on the ingredients, Garlic can be subtituted for mixed herbs, I wouldn't advise leaving a herb/spice base out as the dish can be rather bland otherwise. Directions: Place you pasta in boiling water and bring to the boil & simmer as per your pack instructions, do not use salt in the water, the pasta absorbs the salt and doesn't absorb the balsamic vinegar later. ...Time and time again Ferrari bring out one excellent car after another, with the F355, F40, F50 to name but few, then they brought out the beast of a car that is the 360 Modena. Were do I start some would say the E-type Jags is the best looking car ever made, others the Lambo Diablo, but for me there is an obvious winner. The Italian designer really out did themselves with this, sleek, stylish, powerful are only a few words that spring to mind. This is Ferrari back to form, a masterpiece of enginnering....

The best car in the world!

Advantages: Great body shape, and very fast
Disadvantages: high insurance, uses alot of petrol, expensive to repair

...This car is definately the best car in the Ferrari range and even in the world. If I was a millionnaire then I would definately buy it and I think that nearly everyone else would too. Ferrari is known everywhere in the world and the company produces excellent cars of high standard. You are still seeing Ferrari cars around the streets today that were made 10, 20, 30, years ago, and they are still in perfect condition. I have always liked Farrari cars, but I perfer the newer models, than the old. This is mainly because, I like rounded cars, more that straight, squared edge cars. I have to say that the Ferrari 360 Modena F1 is definately the BEST CAR IN THE WORLD EVER!...

Tesco Finest balsamic vinegar £3.00

Advantages: Fantasic flavour on a par with much more expensive vinegars

...Being a lover of all things Italian i actually use balsamic vinegar (aceto balsamico) in loads of things i have tried loads of bottles and would like to share my experiences with you all. Balsamic vinegar must be from modena or Reggio Emilia and like parmesan or parma ham it can not be legally named so if it is not produced in these specific places. Aceto balsamico di Modena is made from the juice of white grapes unusually enough which is boiled down by about 50 % this creates the grape must which is then ages traditionally in oak barrels. Balsmic vinegar has a slightly sweet taste and a thick appearence and is a great accompliment to salad, vegtables and even fruit strawberries in particular.
