...Like all beadhead shampoos Moisture Maniac smells gorgeous! It has a wonderful fruity smell which wants you craving more!! The bottle is cool and stylish but can be quite hard to get to the last but if shampoo without difficulty. The shampoo is quite pricey at approx £10 depending where you buy it from but you only need to use a small amout of the shampoo as once put on your hair shampoos and foams up alot. The shampoo does a good job of cleaning your hair and is really good for dry hair, hair that has been chemically treated or has a lot of heat treatments such as hairdrying or straightening/curling but I wouldn't recommemend it for any one that has a dry scalp as it causes quite a bit of build up so makes a dry scalp worse but really conditions and helps dry hair. Moisture Maniac: Does what it says on the tin!

Advantages: Gorgeous smell. leaves hair soft and shiny, good sized bottle

...I was surprised that the previous reviewer to me only gave this 1 star. I didn't expect miracles from this shampoo. I only wanted it to hydrate my hair a little bit, as it is very dry, especially in the summer, so I thought I would give it a try anyway. I managed to pick up my bottle on Ebay for a cheaper price than in a salon, so I thought it was worth a go! ...i too had heard alot of great things about this shampoo giving "salon perfect" hair and decided to give it a go. i have to agree, as far as value for money goes, this shampoo is superb. the bottles are quite large and therefore last ages and they are so reasonably priced, but for me, that's the end of its advantages! i was thrilled when i got my new shampoo and conditioner home and could't wait to give it a go. i was very impressed with the smell - its gorgeous! my hair also felt clean and was fairly easy to manage (which is a bit unusual because its normally a pain), so far, i was quite impressed. the main problem i've found is that my hair looks greasy and lank, lacking any kind of shine after only 1 day!! i continued use for a few weeks in the hope things would change and i would have that "salon perfect" hair - alas, i was left...

Advantages: Great price! Leaves hair shiny!

Instead of splashing out on an expensive shampoo and conditioner I decided to go for value knowing full well that my hair would probably dislike this idea and I would end up looking like Crystal Tipps, or so I thought. Moisture Balancing 2-in-1 Shampoo

Advantages: Cheap, nice packaging, does the job well
Disadvantages: Isn't that effective as a conditioner, is (very possibly) tested on animals

...I bought Herbal Essences Moisture Balancing Shampoo plus Conditioner in Bodycare, for £1.25. I usually switch between Head&Shoulders, and Pantene, but this time I wanted a change, and chose this, mainly because of the cheapness! The picture on Ciao for this shampoo doesn't match up to mine, but I've checked and mine is definitely in the right category, so maybe the pictures have been confused, as there's a lot in the HB range. The bottle is clear, with light purple shampoo and the writing is in white. The sticker on the back with all the information on has a picture of a plant on the back of it, giving a sort of goldfish bowl effect. The flip-lid is dark green. It would look quite classy, but I think the green lid spoils the effect! It claims to contain 'natural herbs and botanicals', and promises to 'deliver cleansing...

...ok enoughs enough, American Crew is a male grooming company who specialise in hair care. Now I'm not an expert when it comes to shampoo's but have a little read about this: Containing panama bark extract for natural cleansing, wheat protein for added shine and strength, and rosemary and thyme extracts that tone and moisturise the scalp, this daily shampoo is excellent for gentle cleansing and conditioning. I'm confused? am I cooking my head or washing it? This shampoo cost £8 a bottle and in all fairness my hair felt no better than when I used "Wash and go" from the pound shop.....and I'm not kidding. Despite all the fancy ingredients your head will be exposed to, it still does what 1000 other much cheaper brands do.....clean your hair! Please save you money.....unless your rich, in which case buy it, I will get immense joy in...

...Dry Hair Meets Oily Shampoo So I've had a few hair mishaps in my youth, and made one or two bad judgment calls. Who hasn't? As a result, I bought the first bottle of shampoo that even remotely resembled something moist for my dry, tangled mess of hair. BAD DECISION. I know, I know. You get what you pay for. But, really? This? After using Tresemme for about a week, my head felt like a Brillo pad and looked like it had been zapped by lightning. Not appealing in the least. Possible Solution If you can find a decent conditioner, a la Biolage, that definitely neutralizes the effects of this shampoo. However, my recommendation would be to simply switch to something that may cost a couple extra bucks, but will pay off in the long run. Steer clear of this product! The bottle is still the same yellow and the same shape but the font used for the branding has changed lately. This shampoo - like the matching conditioner (and all of the other shampoos in the Results range) - comes in a square-looking bottle, which is wide and flat but is revealed to be tapered and oval shaped with definite edges. The Moisture Seal option is a vivid, golden marigold shade of yellow. ...sort of soft. So I suppose the answer is yes it is a good prduct. However, Fairy Liquid would do the same! As for revitalising hair, well that is one of those things I may never understand. The same goes for moisturising, this is a moisture shampoo, and it is wet, it is also applied with the aid of copious amopunts of water, so yes, it does moisturise! This product is made for hair like mine, normal to dry hair. The Company do the same stuff for other hair types, probably at higher prices perhaps. I know at the moment they are doing a "Buy one get another at half price offer" they do conditioner too. The plastic bottle has the usual designer look, in this case it is 250 ml, although I dare say there are other sizes to choose from.
