Dove moisturising cream

...I received Dove moisturising cream as a gift, and was very surprised by how good it is. I used it every day for a week, and found that my skin not only looked better, it felt softer. I have just had a 2 week holiday in Turkey and due to the very hot weather and salty sea, my skin got very dry, but after using Dove, - not just on my face, but all over my body, the change in my skin was very noticeable. I shall keep using it, especially now that the winter weather is here. I found Dove Moisturing cream so good that I will purchase their other products, to see if they are as good as Dove Moissturising cream. Xmas is coming, so hopefully I will be lucky and get a nice boxed selection, including the moisturising cream!!...

Astral cream, a heavenly moisturiser

...Astral moisturising cream seems to have been on the chemists shelves since the wheel was invented! Then I take a look and find out that it was first launched in 1950, but the creams formula has remained unchanged in all those years. I have been buying Astral cream for light years but I can only ever remember it being in the aqua blue plastic tub. There used to be an Astral soap on the market too but I haven't seen that about for ages now. Astral cream contains glycerin, lanolin and perfume and it has been dermatologically tested and is not tested on any animals. You can buy Astral cream in three different sized pots, 50ml, 200ml and 500ml. The cream can be used as an all over moisturiser. I suppose that many women might look on Astral cream as being a bit old fashioned, the creams that appear in the magazines, newspapers...

Boots Cucumber Moisturising Cream

Advantages: Cheap, keeps skin soft and hydrated, smells lovely
Disadvantages: You might hate the smell, no SPF

...the moisturiser, which was really impressive as I normally need reapply moisturiser and make-up twice a day. The only downside to this moisturiser is that it contains no SPF, so you need an extra sunscreen. Some people think you don't need one in winter, but you do! If you start using one when you're young, your skin will thank you for it when you're older. Don't forget that a moisturiser with SPF won't be enough protection in the summer, and that make-up with SPF won't give you any protection unless you apply it in thick layers all over your face. I use a sunscreen on top of moisturiser, everyday anyway, so I don't find it too much of a problem, but if you're lazy, you might want to find a moisturiser that contains sunscreen. However, it does contain vitamins that apparently protect against the environment - it doesn't elaborate on that, so...

...I brought this 50ml Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Cream in colour "natural" about a year ago from a beauty store for about £6.00, but may vary where you go. I quite like all the nivea range as it's gentle on your skin and makes skin really soft. I've previously brought nivea lipcare, nivea face cream and nivea's range of suntan lotion and have been pretty happy with the result of them all. The reason why i've had this product for so long (unlike most beauty products which are used up within a couple of months) is because it isn't that much of a great product and i rarely use it, unless you like being shiny that is. A moisturising wash cream for dry skin

It is fragrance free and soap and detergent free, yet it does have a slightly creamy smell to it, which to be honest, reminded me a bit of nappy cream. A simple moisturising bath product for baby or for you!

Advantages: Clean scent, easy to use, creates a few nice bubbles, left me feeling moisturised.

...As my hands have been quite dry recently, I decided to give Atrixo a go as I find many moisturing creams not very good. It comes in a yellow tub with a green lid. Two sizes are available-50 ml, which costs £1.70, and ther is also a 200 ml sized tub, which costs £3.98. Both prices are off the Boots website. According to the label, the cream is dermatologically tested. The cream does contain camomile. Camomile contains essential oils that help to sooth irritated skin, which is why it is in the hand cream. When first applied, the cream can feel slightly greasy but that does fade after two or three minutes. Even though it ison the greasy side, it is thick, and you dont need a huge amount for it to do the job. There is a slight fragrence, which is slightly flowery without smelling like an old lady has over done it with the perfume...
