It strengethens your hair after colouring and leaves your hair soft and shiny. A very important thing I must point out is the colour shampoo also has UV protection in it, so you have no worries now when going into the sune as your hair will be fully protected. rich shampoo for rich moisturised locks!

Advantages: very moisturising ideal for post-treatment (colouring/perming/straightened hair)
Disadvantages: can be too heavy for those with fine stright hair

...I generally find aveda shampoo's and conditioners to be something of a hit and miss..some are either very very good and others leave my hair looking straw like and my scalp itchy... in the case of sap moss I would firmly put this into the former catergory. It was reccomended to me when my hair was at its driest and this certainly softened it up. It comes long tubes and the shampoo has a very unusually thick texture. It is actually thicker in consistancy to alot of conditioners I've used even! Has a lovely earthy woodsy smell and I found I didnt have to condition my hair afer every single wash, with overly processed hair thats really saying something! While it is very rich it does clean th scalp very well without stripping it of oils however you may consider alternating with a clarifying shampoo like their shampure to stop your hair...

Fancy name - effective shampoo

Advantages: Fabulous smell. Effective, non-drying shampoo.
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest in the store. Not for people who avoid parabens.

Boots Baby "Scalp Moisturising Shampoo"

Advantages: Excellent brand and most probably cheaper than alternatives advertised

...Having a 15 month old Toddler it's not just newborns that suffer with "cradle cap" or very dry skin on their scalp. Having tried using baby oil on Little H's hair before shampooing (as advised by Health Visitor) this wasn't working too well - it just made his hair very greasy looking and the dead/dry skin didn't seem to be going. We had seen a well known Brand advertised on TV but when shopping in Boots Chemist found that they have their own brand (approx £3.59 for small bottle). As own Brand products are usually cheaper than the big named company brands we thought we would give it a go. You only have to use a very small amount and it so gentle and mild but lathers up lovely - Little H's hair is soft and shiny after every shampoo and his scalp is getting better and better everytime. Would definitely recommend this to other parents...

...Dove shampoo is a great shampoo for every day use. It leaves your hair looking and feeling really healthy and moisturised but not greasy. Application You use Dove shampoo in the same way that you would use any other shampoo, though I find this shampoo a bit more lathery than others and maybe a bit harder to rinse out, nothing worth putting you off using it though. The Smell Dove shampoo smells a bit like their soap products, but it smells that way in a shampoo kind of way, if that makes sense lol.
