...I have owned this Samsung television for a year now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I would say it was of average price for an LCD TV of this size at around £600. It was easy to install (although no aerial lead was included in the packaging) and the channel auto install was simple. The picture quality is very good, well defined, and colours are bright and sharp. Colours are even throughout the screen, with no fading or darker patches. The teletext functions are also good, with bright displays. The sound quality is excellent, defined and clear with no muffling. The remote control included in the packaging is basic but does the job. Excellent monitor

Advantages: great clear picture
Disadvantages: bulky parents unit, interferes with wifi

...This is am excellent baby video monitor with a very clear picture, especially the night picture which works perfectly well even when the baby's room is completely dark. A good feature is that you can turn off the display screen (say when sleeping yourself) but turn it on again just by touching the top. The only drawback is that the parent unit is quite bulky. It is portable though, but not small enough to carry about with you as you do tasks, but easy enough to move from room to room. It's also worth noting that any wireless equipment you use in your home may affect the signal, though the manufacturer does say that you can contact your wireless internet provider for different settings. A fantastic product for the price....

However with Samsung SyncMaster 943NW, I get zero 'magnet-like' feel and that makes me personally feel that it is really safe to use this monitor. ...I knew from the outset that i would be one of those paranoid mum's constantly worrying about my baby & wondering if he was still breathing through the night, so I invested in the Angelcare monitor with movement sensor mat. The set includes a 'baby unit', 'parent unit' & movement sensor mat. The mat is placed under baby's mattress (if like mine, the base of the cot is slatted, or you're using it in such a moses basket, then you will need to place the mat on a firm surface such as a piece of plywood under the mattress), & is so sensitive that it can detect even the lightest of breathing. ...We purchased this TV around Christmas time as a direct replacement for a Panasonic 28 inch CRT and I have to amit the picture quality is far superior to what we have been used to. DVDs especially appear to be much more crisp, however as we do not have a HD DVD player or TV input I could not comment on these features. The Xbox 360 looks much sharper an is a big improvement. The Wii strangly enough appears to look worse. Only because you can now really see how blocky the graphics really are. There are pleanty of sound and display options to play with and the auto tune function hapily tunes in all your channels with minimum fuss. There are enough inputs also.
