What also displays just how highly regarded these speakers is the fact that we have not witnessed a price drop. Which is also excellent news for those who are considering buying these now and perhaps selling them at a later date....

Small Speakers, Small Sound

Advantages: Small, lightweight, can be used with any mp3 player
Disadvantages: Sound quality isn't great - speakers not very powerful

Impressive, good looking floorstanding speakers.

Advantages: Great Sound quality and volume, good looks, fine finish
Disadvantages: Need careful positioning and plugging to aviod bass domination, require a large room, can dominate aesthetically, need good cabling

...I knew from the outset that i would be one of those paranoid mum's constantly worrying about my baby & wondering if he was still breathing through the night, so I invested in the Angelcare monitor with movement sensor mat. The set includes a 'baby unit', 'parent unit' & movement sensor mat. The mat is placed under baby's mattress (if like mine, the base of the cot is slatted, or you're using it in such a moses basket, then you will need to place the mat on a firm surface such as a piece of plywood under the mattress), & is so sensitive that it can detect even the lightest of breathing. The mat connects to the baby unit which then transmits to the parent unit. If no movement (yes, even light breathing counts as movement) is detected for 20 seconds, an alarm sounds on both the baby & parent units, enabling time to get to your baby...

...I got these speaker is 2004 and they are still going strong. I have taken them on holiday, to school and they are now my computer speakers. They can be used about every where. Amazing peice of kit. ( been half way around the world) Hardley dented at all. Unlike normal computer speakers or portable speakers these include a small amplifier with the volume control and added "bass boost " controls.
