...Monsters inc was a film produced by Pixar animation studios on February 8, 2002. The film was a massive hit and the fourth film Pixar had created. The film is a computer generated film and is about a place called Monstropolis. This is a place that only monsters live and they generate their power by scaring children and using their screams a source of power. The monsters use doors in a factory that enter children's bedrooms and the monsters then scare the children, make them scream and they then collect the screams in a container to use for power. The monsters believe that children themselves are toxic, and go to great lengths to prevent contact; should a monster be touched by a child or their belongings they need to decontaminated. Me and My Monsters

Advantages: Fabulous CGI

...Anybody that knows me by now knows that I watch a lot of children?s movies. I have explained before but I get forced you know? One minute I can be watching the footie, the next I?m invaded by the rest of the family who abruptly turn the TV onto the DVD channel, shove a bowl of popcorn in the middle of the room and bind and gag me for the following 90 minutes or so. This happened only recently with the millionth re-run of Monsters. Inc. In fact, it took me back to the time we saw it originally back in 2001?? Can you believe it? There I am standing in the queue for my seat tickets at my local UCG and there are a couple of strange looking fellas in front of me. One of 'ems a large, furry guy with broad shoulders and blue fur. An unloved monster

Advantages: Powerful acting, thought-provoking subject
Disadvantages: Violent, disturbing, inaccurate and flat script at places

...the atmosphere in which two desperate and lost souls trying to grab at their diminishing choices while only one is them is actually aware of it. There isn't much happening in terms of character or plot development, the events cascade rather rapidly and bring blow after blow to the hasty ending. It's certainly not for the faint hearted to watch, some of the more violent and graphic ones made me cringe with dismay. I did cry at the end, while the most emotionally charged moments of the movie were played out. Conclusion I do not feel that having prior knowledge of the plot would make watching the movie any less intense. The reason for that is the events are portrayed with a bias, namely from Aileen's point of view and not e.g from the victims' family or the press who obviously did their best to portray her as a monster. Advantages: great film

...Monsters Inc in my opinion is one of the best films that Disney and Pixar have made to date and they should not be dissappointed this animations is different to many other films and what more they have creat some of the all time favourite characters in disney history. My favourite has to be sully. Monters Inc is a film that is about monsters James P Sullivan better know as Sulley and Mike Wazowski. Mike and Sully work as scarers at the local factory to produce electricity, they go through childrens door at night whilst they are sleeping to scare children, which in turn produces power for the city. Advantages: Great animation, good laugh and refreshing stroy

...Remember when you were young, the days were full of fun and hope and sun.   The Monster Mash

Advantages: Superb animation | Quite funny at times | Good voice talent
Disadvantages: Not on par with other Pixar films | Ending a bit too mushy

...Pixar have, so far, never put a step wrong with each feature film and each short animation they create. They created the landmark Toy Story and even persuaded Disney to put Toy Story 2 to the big screen instead of straight to video as most of their sequels end up. Monsters Inc. is their new feature length film and, once again, is a mixture of laughs, drama and stunning animation. It?s fair to say Disney have been struggling more than a little bit with their recent wave of films. There's a monster in the house

Advantages: good Oscar win acting
Disadvantages: violent & scary

She walks into what happens to be a lesbian bar and meets the 18-year-old Selby, who has been sent to live with Florida relatives and sort herself out with lesbianism. Aileen had no lesbian experience and her life is the bottom of anything living, as being a sex worker* with no taste for sex at all. Selby's own sexuality functions essentially as a way to shock her parents, left on the devises with her need to be just desired.
