The UNOFFICIAL Entrance to Monza
Advantages: Exudes history, exciting race circuit, rural quiet small town with character, beautiful cathedral and scenic views nearby
Disadvantages: None really..Public transport limited on sundays
...Say the word MONZA! And one?s heart fills with joy and excitement you think Formula One, land of Ferrari .. you are in seventh heaven! Well almost! This may not be everyone?s reaction but it certainly is mine! I recently had the opportunity to visit Monza and it doesn?t disappoint and offers far more beyond Formula One racing with its rural charm and interesting historical features.
MONZA ~ WHERE IS IT?
Monza is approximately 10km North of Milan in the Lombardy region of Italy. It is the capital of the Brianza area of Lombardy. Brianza originally got it?s name from an old saying, ?S?è messa un po? di Brianza in faccia? which is translated as ?She?s put some Brianza on her face?, it?s another word for a fake suntan! Before the economic growth of the 1950?s many of the rich would come to the hilly regions of Brianza in the hope...

It's a Bed...
Advantages: Easy to put together, great price
Disadvantages: See review
...For some reason, Mum always liked having a spare bedroom. We live in a 4 bedroom house, and originally, there was the Master room for mum, then a bedroom for my sister, and me and my two brothers shared the next room, leaving another free. Jaimie then moved out, leaving her room free, and Robert moved into the previously spare room. Liam and I then shared rooms. That was back in 1994 or something, and we kept sharing from then on. Eventually, however, it got to the point where we were a bit too old to be sharing a room, and so I kicked Liam out into the spare room, where he slept on a sofa. That was about 2006, and things were fine. I took apart the bunkbeds, and had one, while he was content with the settee.
The first thing on our lists of needed things, was a new bed. Liam needed a bed point blank, and I wanted to get a double bed...

The Complete Bed
Advantages: Quick to inflate
Disadvantages: Cover may not be sufficient for the winter months
...When we are not working, we like the odd occasional night out, and normally that would involve dropping Ben off to a baby sitters and all the hassle that goes with it. Sometimes Ben is all up for the idea of going to nanny and granddad's and when we first get there he's fine, but when we go to leave he doesn't want to stay, so it's the usual persuasion and then when we do leave, neither of us enjoy ourselves because we feel guilty for leaving him.
We decided that the best thing to do was to get some one to come to us instead to look after him, so we did that in the form of one of Steph's younger sisters, she was happy enough to do this as it meant she would earn a little bit of cash to get credit for her phone and for magazines and make up!!
The problem was we only have a two bedroom flat with only two beds, so where would she...

MY DAY AT MONZA through The Hole
Advantages: High-speed circuit racing circuit, Home to Italian Motor Sport, exudes history
Disadvantages: None I can think of…
...In March this year, I was lucky enough to plan a short trip to Milan, with the hope of visiting Monza, home to the Italy’s Ferrari and land of the Tifosi. This is every Ferrari fan’s dream and is a definite must for any racing fan. The Monza circuit is one of the oldest racing circuits along with Silverstone and provides some exhilarating action with the highest speeds possible along the straights and heavy braking on tricky chicanes. The circuit has a rich history and some of the best racing drivers the world has ever known have raced here. This is one day I will never forget…
Before I highlight the beauty of this racing circuit, I will mention where it is and how to get there, or how I got there - which was a rather long route...and the feelings and sounds on approach to this great circuit. This may give you...

Monster Monza
Advantages: exciting
Disadvantages: ferrari home ground
...A circuit above all others that exudes history with the original track built way back in 1922 still recognisable. Home to the Italian Grand Prix Monza is always a race full of atmosphere; this is the home of the prancing horse, Ferrari, and their passionate followers, the Tifosi. The circuit itself mildly resembles a modern-day Circus Maximus, fast and probably the closest you will see to an F1 Oval circuit.
The history of the track is outstanding - it holds tha fastest ever F1 race time recorded way back in 1971 by Peter Gethin in a time of 1 hour and 18 minutes. It was also the closet race of all time with 5 cars crossing the finish line within 1 second of the winner.
Tomorrow sees the 50th F1 race held - the most of any circuits - Damon Hill still holds the fastest ever speed around this circuit of an average of 155 miles...

bed ready made
Advantages: handy for sleepovers
Disadvantages: no pillow and expensive
...My son received on of these for Christmas from a friend of mine. She said it would become a practical present and oh my it has been.
The design
The design on our one is of In the night garden every childs favorite at the moment I think, Although I do believe they come in different choices, such as Fifi, Thomas the tank, Noddy, Dora and various other characters.
My first ready bed has been very well designed it has a built in headboard designed for extra comfort, safety bolsters either side designed so the little un cant roll out, has an air filled mattress and a removable cover which is machine washable at 30 degrees.
To inflates the bed is simple as it comes with its own foot pump, and believe me it only takes 4-5 mins to inflate. Deflation takes a little longer but is simple to do just roll the bed and make the air come out...

Beds.... Eventually
Advantages: good deals, good quality
Disadvantages: little contact from the delivery depot
...I ordered a bed from Bensons in Horwich back in February of this year, when I initially placed the order I was living in Harrogate in staff accomodation, I had spoken to my temp manager and she was OK with me having my own bed and as my room was large enough for a double I decided thats what I would go for. But due to the leave dates for the job I had the earliest I could get it delivered was going to be the 19th March almost 6 weeks away. But the deal I was getting was very good and I was in no real hurry. So I paid my deposit and waited.
Then as mentioned in other places I was transferred from Harrogate to Lydd and obviously delievery to North Yorkshire was no good when I was living in Kent, so I called them as firstly asked if I could cancel the order but was told politely but firmly that it wouldn't be possible as my contract...

Time For Bed!!
Advantages: Ideal for very young children.
Disadvantages: None
....
- The Content -
As the title suggests, this is all about the routine involved for Sam and most children before going to bed.
It begins with 'When it's time for bed, there's lots for us to do'. The rest of the book depicts an activity that Sam has to undertake before getting in to bed and on each page he is joined by one of his cuddly toys, e.g. having a bath, getting a drink, cleaning their teeth, until finally they all snuggle in to bed.
- Overall -
This is a great book for pre-school children from about 12 months onwards:
~ It's just the right length and format given that it is a board book.
~ The font used is very clear and simple with no fancy loops or unusual 'a' letters.
~ Young children can relate to the activities and routine that need to take place prior to going to bed.
~ The use of the animals undertaking each activity...

My First Bed
Advantages: Perefct height for a toddler
Disadvantages: it's not big enough if you have to lie beside them!
...When our daughter was 18 months she was a very active child in her sleep. Her cot was no longer big enough for her to comfortably move around in the cot!
We had seen a small bed in IKEA which was a toddler bed which could extend with the child! It also on one side had a rail which would prevent them falling out!
The bed at the time cost £65 for the base and the mattress was £45. But now I believe they sell it as a combined package for about £105!
The Bed came as a flat pack which my hubby found easy to make and put together! He put the frame together in about 20 minutes and the slates took about 10 mins and another 5 minutes to screw onto the bed to hold them securely! The instructions were easy to follow and all screws and keys were there to help you along the way!
The bed was up and was light to move into the position...

My First Ready Bed - what a fab product!
Advantages: Fun, easy to use and great value for money
Disadvantages: None Found!
...My daughter recently grew out of her Samsonite Pop Up Bubble Travel Cot (which I have also reviewed) and we decided that, as she had moved from a cot into a 'Big Girl's Bed' in her room, it was time to make the move with our travel sleeping arrangements as well.
We thought about just letting her go in a standard bed, but felt that as she was in a junior bed at home (which is only 90 cm off the ground) it would be a bit much to expect her to cope with potentially falling from such a great height when she is meant to be enjoying her holidays! So we looked around and found surprisingly little available. There are some roll out foam beds, some futon mattress style ones and the rest are just sleeping bags to go on top of standard beds to keep the child all tucked in.
We didn't really like any of these options, so were really pleased...
