Atmosphere on the moon.

Advantages: Old fashioned 'B' movie
Disadvantages: Very Dated

...Destination Moon. At the time of its pending release this film was massively promoted claiming to portray accurately but with the twist of adventure how man will get to the Moon and stay there. Unfortunately the public didn?t want the science all they wanted was the adventure and on that point the film falls into the dreaded ?B? movie genre. The film follows Charles Cargraves, a kind of Howard Hughes of his day, as he struggles to get his spaceship off of the launch pad and to the Moon. The Almost Moon

Advantages: Unusual, excellent writing skills
Disadvantages: Sometimes can get a bit annoying

...I wasn't really expecting much with this book, as honestly the only reason I picked it up was because I was looking for another of Sebold's book at the library. They didn't have it, but they did have The Almost Moon, and as I hadn't read it before I thought I'd give it a go. The plot is based around the character of Helen, and her mother Clair. On the very first page Helen kills her mother, and the rest of the novel is based around the aftermath of this and the story of her life leading up to the moment of Clair's murder. It looks at what Helen's life was like with Clair, the relationships she has with her daughters which she feels have been strained because of her mother, her ex husband, and her father. SHOOT FOR THE MOON

Advantages: Well written, great story, great characters
Disadvantages: I wanted more at the end

Moon - a thoughtful sci-fi

Advantages: Visually stunning, superb central performance, clever plot

Reaching for the Moon!

Advantages: Beautiful illustrations and lovely story.
Disadvantages: Absolutely none

...This is a delightful children's picture book and a welcome addition to my ever expanding bookcase! It's all about a mole who sees the moon and declares that it is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. Not knowing what it is or just exactly how far away it is, he sets about trying to get it for himself. Now we all know that this just isn't possible but the mole doesn't and he jumps up and down with a 'Thump-Thump! Thumpety-Bump!' The noises awaken the rabbit in her burrow who upon finding out what mole is trying to do, informs him that the moon is not as near as it looks. But strong-willed with a grim determination, mole doesn't give up and proceeds to get a stick to poke it down; 'Swish-Swish! Swishety-Swish!' So busy, mole tumbles over the hedgehog under some leaves who tells mole, exactly the same as the rabbit had...

Give skin radiance with Moon Beam

Advantages: Lovely colour, easy to apply, can be used any time
Disadvantages: Expensive, goes off quite quickly

...I got this as a present from my friend about a year ago and after forgetting it existed for a few months but then finding it and using it again recently I thought I would review it. I've had a look on the official site and found out it sells for £15.50 for the 13ml bottle and I know you can get Benefit stuff from most Boots or Debenhams stores. I thought it was a really interesting present and quite unique which is typical of Benefit who are quite an innovative brand always coming up with original ideas. I'm not aware that I had seen any products like it anywhere else when I got it and even now I've not seen many similar things. Packaging... The packaging, as with all the Benefit products is gorgeous making it ideal as a present. It comes in a peach coloured box with 'moon beam' written on the front in big nice lettering...
