Great shampoo for oily hair!
Review of Mop Basil Mint Shampoo 300ml by
catalunya
Advantages: Cleans well, leaves hair soft without weighing it down, organic product
Disadvantages: Expensive,not widely available
...Product Information
Modern Organic Products is a company specialised in creating organic, natural hair and body care products. The Basil and Mint shampoo is formulated for normal to oily hair and it is "ideal for removing product build up from hair".
Ingredients
The product contains extracts of peppermint, basil, sage and rosemary.
Availability and Price
Mop is an Internet only retailer, which means you can't find this product on the high street.I ordered this shampoo from the official Mop online shop, however I am aware of a number of hair salons that stock up on Mop products. The shampoo costs £9.49 for the 300 ml bottle but if you are unsure that this product could be the right one for you ,I recommend the 50 ml tester bottle which only costs £2.50.
Experience
I have been using this shampoo for about two weeks now and my hair...

Good shampoo for well-behaved, dark hair!
Review of MOP Glisten Shampoo by
Miss_R
Advantages: Nice smell, promotes shiny hair, contains certified organic ingredients, ethical company
Disadvantages: No wow factor for me personally, possibly price,
...volume and lots of shine. It is made with certified orange extract so most of the products in the range have a soft orange aroma.
The Glisten shampoo comes in a 250ml bottle and usually retails for about £8.00 - £9.00. It has lots of good stuff in it such as pure maple syrup and and honey which help to boost shine and certified organic linseed oil and whole wheat protein to repair and protect. It is infused with orange extract which is what gives it its fragrance,
If you look at the ingredients list there's also more protein like amino acids and glycerine (which is a humectant so helps hair to retain moisture). You may notice that it contains Sodium Laureth Sulphate, which is usually thought of as a harsh detergent used to create foam. MOP assure that this is derived from palm oil and not petroleum. (Petroleum derived creates an oily...

MOP C System - simple yet effective
Review of MOP C System Clean Shampoo by
devil5544
Advantages: Organic, packed full of antioxidants without chemicals
Disadvantages: Hard to accept no nice Fragrance
...I decided to purchase this product as i noticed i was getting an itchy scalp, something that would not normally bother me. However i decided to opt for this organic product to try to eliminate the problem.
A perfect way to sum up this product is simple yet effective.
After using many varieties of shampoos this one was certainly dirrerent as it is fragrance free - a little less luxurious however a simple quality that is much better for your hair as it does not use chemicals to make the shampoo smell of anything.
The shampoo left my hair soft and shiny and is gentle enough to use everyday, if you like a fragranced hair product but want the best for your hair why not try this shampoo combined with a mop conditioner that has natural fragrance therefore benefiting your hair.
Overall a lovely product packed with natural organic...

A peary good shampoo!
Review of MOP Pear Shampoo by
petal99
Advantages: Gentle on your kid's hair
Disadvantages: Price
...in chewing gum) it can have laxative effects.. so I am a bit on a neutral position on this as in all honesty most of all the products I know contain it.
PRICE
***********
They have two sizes available of this shampoo:
50 ml at £2.65
300 ml at £9.45
Spray Pear Detangler/ Conditioner, really easy to use and good for kids as it will not weigh down delicate hair:
250 ml £8.45
PACKAGING
***********
The product has no fancy packaging or carton box. On the shelf you'll find this product made of a white plastc body and black plastic top.Everything you need to know about it will be written on its body like ingredients and results you would obtain when using it. The fact that this product does not present fancy packaging does not add to the cost and makes it more true to its nature.

I'll never use anything else
Review of MOP C System Hydrating Shampoo by
oreilly2
Advantages: solved my itching scalp, high quality product
Disadvantages: expensive, hard to find
...I first came across MOP products a couple of years ago when I tried a new hairdresser. The salon was full of posters and advertising for the brand, and I'm always a sucker for a new product, so I decided to try it. This shampoo was my first purchase and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I have suffered for years from itching, thin, flaking skin on my scalp, scratching so hard it would bleed. i've tried all the anti dandruff shampoos, from the most basic supermarket brands to the expensive salon formulas and none of them have helped. Some made it worse. I tried prescription treatments from the doctors, again made no difference. Then I tried this shampoo.
It isn't marketed as an anti dandruff shampoo but has a different formulation to most shampoos - it doesn't contain sodium laureth sulphate, which is found in nearly all shampoos and bubble baths...

Greens are good for you!
Review of Mop Mixed Greens Shampoo 300ml by
petal99
Advantages: Very good product
Disadvantages: Possibly the price
...This is review is about the Mixed Green Shampoo by Mop.
Now, I have to confess I feel very strongly about this product and the whole Mop range so I hope this review will do this product justice and possibly help you next time you want to purchase a quality product.
I am trying to look after my general health, exercise regularly, eat healthy food, buy organic whenever I can and when I noticed my hair started becoming finer and more delicate I searched for a hairdresser who would use organic and gentle hightlights on it, we do know how harmful and potent all the chemicals are in colourings so I wanted to go for kinder version which would give me the same results . It is then I also came to discover this hair range about three years ago.

Its better to wash hair with shampoo not wine!
Review of Alberto Shampoo Blushing Apple Herbal Shampoo by
susan1967
Advantages: cleans my manky hair
Disadvantages: I spilt my wine
...I hadn’t washed my hair for an entire weekend; I was too busy out enjoying myself and didn’t have time to faff on with it. I just kept on plonking more and more waxes, gels and industrial strength sprays on it to spike it up. So as you can imagine my crowning glory was a bit manky. It was hard in places, sticky in others but worst of all it smelled. It smelled of wine. How, I hear you ask, easy, I’d decided to have one last glass of wine in bed (I’d had quite a few already) and as I lay back managed to spill it on my head. How I managed to miss my mouth I’ll never know. I think I was a wee bit tipsy.
So out came my favourite shampoo (this month). Alberto VO5 Blushing Apple Herbal Shampoo. This product was a bargain from a pound shop, costing, you’ve guessed it a pound. This shampoo is a lovely deep pink colour, which...

Throw Your Manky Old Mops Away
Review of Bentley Turbo Super Mop by
SandraR
Advantages: Doesn't rot or smell
Disadvantages: None
...Over the years I have tried a variety of mops, cloth mops; string mops; sponge mops... in fact you can bet your bottom dollar that if a mop has been invented then muggings here has tried it.
I have two kids, two dogs and one husband. My kitchen floor is tiled so needs to be mopped regularly, especially in the winter when the dogs like nothing better then to tramp in with muddy feet. I therefore need a mop that can live up to the challenge.
I have found that with most mops if you use them regularly they fall to bits or discolour or even worse smell and no matter how much you clean them they never look very nice. Now as I store mine in the kitchen this is important to me as the last thing that I want to see when cooking the tea is a manky mop!!
I came across this mop in my local Kwik Save store. The mop itself was £3...

Home-tek Ht834 Steam Mop... Fantastic
Review of Home-Tek HT824 Steam MOP by
b4rbienightmare
Advantages: quick, easysetup, no messing, cleans spotless, cheap, no soaked floors to dry, robust
Disadvantages: none
...I bought this steamer mop about 6 months ago .
I have mostly hard floors in my house, 1 very large boisterous dog and 2 mucky kids so I hate having to mop the floors.
I thought i would try a simple steam mop, I didn't want anything to flash or a multi talented steam appliance, I just wanted a better faster easier alternative to string mops and soggy floors.
The Home tek mop was a cheaper option than most of the other similar steam products It looked simple and straight forward but to be honest I didn't have a whole lot in faith in it becoming like a best friend.
I can honestly say I will never look back after buying the Home-tek Ht834 Steam Mop. Its fantastic, Its fast and easy to setup to use, always spotless cleaning and with no effort also the pads are washable, I just chuck mine in the washing machine and not had...

The mop that has a bite
Review of Shark Steam Mop by
Maxlarndison
Advantages: No harsh chemicals
Disadvantages: None really
...I brought the Shark Steam Mop a few months ago now and my experience with gadgets of the T.V up until now they have been pretty rubbish.
What is the Shark Steam Mop -?
It is a mop that uses steam instead of water to clean away grim and dirt and grease.
It is very light weight in fact it only weighs 3lbs
It does not use any harsh chemicals
It takes just 30 seconds to heat up.
How to use the Steam Mop -
Remove all parts from the box and follow the instructions and putting the mop together, it is very simple, it is just the case of putting the handle together and attaching the micro fibre cloth to the bottom of the mop, it has like Velcro strips across the underneath side of the cloth and has 2 strips on the | | |
