And I couldn't afford the hundreds of squids that it would cost for a re spray. Ok, so I'm not scared of not being able to pay for it, but knowing my luck, the swish bitta kit would belong to the local mobster, and me thinks local mobsters ain't gonna take too kindly to having their swish bitsa kits bashed and scratched without some kind of remuneration. ...for really good mates, of course I’d own up. We’d ring the Chinese and get a takeaway instead. Oh and lastly, if it were my ex-husband, I’d probably wipe it on the dog’s backside, and still serve it to him. Just for the record I would like to add the same as Kappa. Being a vegetarian goes against my morals as I like my meat. Take that any way you like. I did once have a culinary disaster when doing my O’Level cookery exam at school. As part of the practical examination I had to cook Fish Mornay, which is a fish dish with a layer of mashed potato. I had prepared the fish and the potatoes were ready to be mashed. Unfortunately as I prepared to take them to the counter to mash, I slipped on a piece of food that some idiot had left on the floor (I’m assuming it wasn’t me). ...Panic attacks can occur at any time in your life. Usually they are triggered by major life events such as moving house, changes in relationships such as divorce, or even just a build up of stressful events over a period of time. I usually deal well with stress (or at least I thought I did) but after a few major events in my life I experienced my first panic attack. Here is my story …. It all started in April 2002. We had gone home after a night out (March) and gone to bed as normal when suddenly the smoke detector started to go off. We awoke to find the flat full of smoke. On entering the hall the ceiling was alight with flames and our exit was blocked due to the flames. My partner set about beating back the flames so that we could get out. ...As a fan of David Fincher (director of Se7en and Fight Club) and of Jodie Foster and Forest Whittaker, I couldn’t wait to see this film. Each on their own are worth the price of admission at any cinema, but the three together just had to equal dynamite. So on Saturday night I found myself in the cinema with great expectations and a great big box of popcorn, willing the adverts to speed by quickly and get on with the movie. As Panic Room began, I was not disappointed. The opening credits were superb – almost 3-D effect beveled lettering against a New York backdrop filmed from above, below and adjacent to its highest buildings. That’s basically the entire story to this clever, but long-winded thriller. ...I knew what to expect with Panic Room, partly because of the title and partly because of it’s director. The title kinda gives it away though, it’s going to be something about a Panic Room obviously! But the director, oh what to expect from him....the creator of Seven, The Game and Fight Club. Well Seven was dark and gruesome, but I absolutely loved it, The Game was again dark, but also weird and inviting and Fight club again was dark and also gruesome, but with an excellent, intellectual twist in the plot. I have liked all of these films, so why should this one be any different. To tell you the truth, I was really looking forward to seeing this movie well before it had been released. Who is the director? David Fincher of course. Not all that well known unless you know your movies or have watched one of the movies named... Read review

...So here I am in the ciao café. You can thank Jill Murphy for this as she suggested I look in here. I didn’t originally come in here to write about this subject, but as a counsellor, and as someone who has suffered panic attacks, and although very rarely , still does. I thought I could make quite a good contribution to this subject. After I have told you what they are, I will try to give you some suggestions on how to stop them or to cope better with them. Anybody can suffer panic attacks, at any time and in any place. I never ever thought I would experience them. They are the bodies physical manifestation to mental issues. My first one happened some time after my first marriage break up. A serious break up that left me with no confidence, very depressed, and with low self-esteem.
