...I can't begin to descirbe how much i like these speakers. The sound quality is incredibly clear. Very occasionally, older/lower quality recordings can sound a bit nasal, but this is not an issue. Everything from Led Zeppelin to Madonna is reproduced with almost frightening clarity and realism. These speakers sound incredibly open and warm, and are incredibly musical Bass is something that Mordaunt Short have always done very well. These speakers go down to 55Hz, although in-room this is far lower. The bass is very flexible, yet still dry. They can do the deep sine sweeps often found in music by bands like the chemical brothers, but a bass drum in music by the white stripes is reproduced with equal weight and drive The treble that comes from the aluminium dome tweeter is fantastically clean. ...I'm talking about Photoimpact 3.02 here. Although it took me a bit of time to work out what I could achieve with it the help is extremely useful and in-depth. This came free on a magazine disc so I can't comment on price but graphics and photo effects that can be achieved with this are nothing short of remarkable. I stil use a P75 so start up is a bit slow but thats not a function of the program as I'm running it below the recommended spec. All in all a great piece of software.... Read review

...III model has been accoustically re-engineered to make it more in line with European manufacturers sound and is far superior to the Arcam and Denon systems I tried. Tested through Mordaunt Short 902is and Gale Gold Monitors, the sound through either puts more expensive systems to shame. The 902i's are the better matched option but the Gales are preety close and a fair bit cheaper. Get some decent interconnects though as the standard bell wire cables don't do it justice and a pair of reaonably priced Monster of Ixos cables significantly improves the clarity and detail. All in all a good looking, great sounding system at a bargain price... Read review

...speaker cones, yet another selling point I feel! The volume control is another nice feature, it is completely touch sensitive, however you do need to be gentle with it, as the volume does begin to increase exponentially if you hold your finger on it for more than around 3secs, and these speakers can get surprisingly loud! There is marginal sound adjustment available to the user, with both bass and treble controls on the subwoofer, although most users will probably find one setting that suits their rooms acoustic, and stick with it. Overall, if you're looking for speakers to connect to your Hi-Fi, then go with some Mordaunt Shorts, but if you're looking for a general purpose multimedia speaker set, with great sound and looks, then these fit the bill nicely.... ...When looking for a relatively cheap but well-designed laptop, acer's travelmate series were a particular interest. Suitably powerful for multimedia applications, and generally well-equipped, with an integrated webcam, microphone and a separate graphics card. This does call on the system memory, however, and typically running windows vista will result in the system using almost half its RAM just idling... However, having purchased a similar travelmate, it must be said that whilst robust and quite easily transported, the battery life in 'high performance' mode is short and the other power modes are less useful. I have experienced issues from new with the battery connection, and the seller - Kikatek, were very unhelpful. As well as not having a phone line at all - communication must take place by email - they were very unwilling... Read review

...of you that dont know..Musical Fidelity is a English firm who take pride on making their products excellent value for money. Their amps are certainly top end items but the price tag is ultimately far easier to swallow than some of the products out their. This amp has received some fab reviews from the pros and I am sure will continue to do so. I run the amp through some Mordaunt Short Advant 908 floorstanders and the sound is fantastic. I use a old Dual CS 5000 turntable. For those of you interested in price then let me tell you the amp is not cheap but comes at a price more than worth paying. The Musical Fidelity ethos has always been something along the lines of , "Why pay through the nose when we can create something outstanding for less than other high end products." ...As a basic descrition, the WG302 is a bit of kit that is used to extend a network by means of wireless technology. e.g. to allow you to connect a wireless laptop to the network. I have recently purchased multiple sets of these wireless access points for our business network. The first thing that you have to say about a WG302 is the build quality. When you pick one up it feels like it is in fact a part from a land rover. Strong and durable. Netgear seem to have mastered the art of making business products that are actually suitable for the job. I have configured our WG302's primarily as main access points to our network for our visiting users. There isn't much you need to do to get up and running as long as you have a little advance knowledge of how to configure a wireless network. Netgear configuration interfaces are legendary...
