Advantages: quick heat up time, long cord, good attachments, easy to use and set up
Disadvantages: not very impressive reults, takes a long time to complete a task

...This product is fairly priced but if I were to buy one again I would definately spend a little more next time and go for a much better model. I would highly reccommend anyone looking at purchasing such an item to do a great deal of research before buying one. I used the cleaner on my kitchen floor first... big mistake. The floor was much wetter than I would of expected it to be and in my oppinion did not seem a great deal cleaner once finished. Next task the shower cubicle. I used an attachment designed to clean between the tiles, supposedly bringing them up like new... no such luck. Did not clean them as expected, a better job would have been done with a bathroom spray and cloth. (which I later had to do) I have also since tried using the macine on my windows with the attachments provided but the results left little...

Morphy Richards Impressed me

Advantages: An economical iron from Morphy Rchards

...ago an iron was exactly that and the choice was very limited, but technology has taken ironing to another level and we now have to choose between a huge selection Jet stream Generators and state of the art steam irons. I had to choose an iron that was middle of the road, the prices ranged from £13 up to £69 and I Wanted a durable product that would last me for a few years. It seemed sensible to choose from within the middle of price range, the Morphy Richards 40730 was priced at £44 on their site, but I bought mine from the Amazon site for just over £34 with free UK delivery and it came with a two year guarantee. The powerful 2200 watt model is nicely shaped and maybe slightly larger than some models, but it is very lightweight. A great Morphy Richards Product

Advantages: Delicious bread without such a gaping hole in the bottom
Disadvantages: Ingredients bucket a bit stiff to manouver

...I have had my original Morphy Richards breadmaker for two years and it was still in good working order but when I saw a new model in Robert Dyas, I had to go and investigate. The new model on display was boasting a drop down paddle which meant no more gaping holes in your bread after you have removed it from the tin. That has to be a plus! The fact that the price had been reduced from £70 to just under £50 swayed my decision. My current which model could be passed onto a grateful family member. As I unpacked this very good looking silver machine, I found an instruction book, guarantee card (for two years) and the measuring cup and spoons. The instruction book is very clear and is full of interesting recipes which include cake and jam. There are a list of baking cycle times and you can make a fast loaf in 1 hour should you wish...

I settled on the Morphy Richards 48744 as to be honest that was the only one offered on the fact finders website and I thought I would use up some of my points. . The Rice and Pasta cooker is a mirrored silver colour with black handles with a toughened glass lid with a black handle and a steam hole. Morphy Richards vs Panasonic

Advantages: Looks good in my kitchen!

...I spent a lot of time researching which breadmaker to buy as just before christmas my old Morphy Richards one expired (after 9 years - so I couldn't complain!) In the end I decided on the Morphy Richards 48268 (as against the Panasonic that friends have raved about). THE REASONS: Financially (a big reason) it was £42 as oppossed to over £75 for the panasonic one. I liked the idea of a drop down blade, means that there is less of a hole ripped out of your bread (happened to my last breadmaker as it got old). ...As always, I like to start my review about the packaging and how well it is boxed. Unfortunatly I cannot do this, this time because my very dear mother gave me this steamer for free (she had won it in a prize draw). She already had taken it out of the box and thrown some of it away. I am not going to complain though. So lets start with the looks of it first then. Sitting on the worktop it looks like a babies steraliser unit on the top with a radio on the bottom. The top three compartments(which is all one but divided into three) are see through blue with two at the front and one wide one at the back. The base looks like a brushed metal/silver finish. On the blue screen you can set the different containers for different steaming events and can be set so they all finish at the same time so you dont have to keep things warm waiting...
