It blow up!
Review of Morphy Richards 44270 by
jo1l
Advantages: quick toast
Disadvantages: it blow up!
...When my old faithfull toaster finally went to toaster heaven I bought the Morphy Richards coolstyle toaster mainley due to the jazzy colours - they come in a bright blue, yellow and lime green. I only had it for 3 months and bang! - No more toast for me! In the 3 months that I was a proud owner of a lime green toaster it really did do good toast ie not over cooked and at an incredible speed. it is a reasonable priced toaster but not that reasonable priced for the three months i had it! I settled on a boring replacement ie not a jazzy colour! dont be taken in by looks! Get a toaster that really lasts....

Shiny Chrome Toaster
Review of Morphy Richards 44420 Manhattan Chrome by
Surj1
Advantages: Stylish Design, Browning Control, Cancel Button, Removable Tray & Bun Warmer
Disadvantages: Only 2 Slice
...The Morphy Richards 44420 chrome toaster is small but very stylish. I purchased this toaster a few years ago and still occasionally use it.
The design of the toaster is very eye catching and is obviously the first thing anyone would notice. It's a polished steel chrome toaster and would definitely fit perfectly in any kitchen. This is the kind of toaster you would leave out all the time because it looks to good rather than hiding it away in the cupboard when not in use.
Main features:
- 2 slice chambers
- Electronic variable browning control
- Hi-lift facility for removing smaller items
- Countdown facility, to let you know how long you have to wait
- Cancel button if you're impatient or you put it on the wrong setting and realised your toast is now burning.
- Removable crumb tray
- Bun warming rack
- Cord storage.
Overall...

This toaster cannot toast on its own!
Review of Morphy Richards 44170 by
LetsPretend
Advantages: Looks pretty
Disadvantages: Toast does not stay down!
...Utterly useless.
Our old toaster worked for a good few years until it broke. Then we bought this one - and what a mistake! It has worked for about 2 weeks and now the toast will just not stay down! We push the handle time and time again to strike lucky about once in a few hundred times.
However, this problem can be solved by hooking an elastic band around the lever and fastening it to the underside of the toaster - though this can result in burnt toast.
Thankfully, if bought from Robert Dyas anyway, it does come with a shop guarantee for a year, and a manufacturer's for another year after that. You might go through quite a few toasters though!
On the plus side, it looks really nice....

A little Toast to the Toaster!
Review of Morphy Richards 44721 by
shaaza
Advantages: defrosts & doesn't leave bread soggy, removable crumb tray which is non-stick, a wide slot
Disadvantages: expensive, stainless steel part of the toaster can get hot
...We recently bought a toaster as our last one caught fire whilst I, myself was trying to make some toast (which only happens once in a blue moon). The Morphy Richards 44721 is a two slice toaster which is rather heavy for a toaster and is chrome and stainless silver in the middle. The toaster is for every type of bread whether thin, fat, frozen or fresh bread it is designed to toast all of them.
I am sure that a lot of people are familiar with Morphy Rochards. They are basically a company who specialize in manufacturing household appliance and they are neither cheap nor expensive they are mediocre on pricing.
Price and Place
I and my mum went strolling in Currys looking for a new toaster and she got attracted to the chrome colour of the toaster, therefore decided to purchase the toaster. The toaster was priced at £29.99 which I...

Morphy Richards 43121 Illuma Kettle
Review of Morphy Richards 43121 S/S by
zoe_uk302
Advantages: 360 degree base
Disadvantages: Poor spout that drips, lid doesnt open fully, filter falls out
...Morphy Richards 43121 Illuma Kettle Blue and Stainless Steel
With a new fitted kitchen just installed my tatty old kettle and toaster looked really out of place!
I decided I wanted a kettle that:
Had a 360 degree base - for ease of placing the kettle onto the base
Illuminated when on
Had a concealed element
Was finished in a brushed or stainless steel finish
Had a matching toaster in the range
Was under £50
Is made by a well known brand
And of course it must look good!
I choose the Morphy Richards 43121 as it fitted ALL of my requirements and looked fantastic in the picture on the box. I purchased the kettle at Sainsburys where it had been reduced from £50 to £33.
Sadly despite the Morphy Richards 43121 meeting all of my requirements I was very much disappointed from the first...

Review of Morphy Richards Toaster 44071 (Black).
Review of Morphy Richards 44071 by
loopymum65
Advantages: Is simple and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Seems to take rather a long time to toast.
...PRODUCT:Two slot toaster with varied slot width.
The toaster does have all the usual features. A variable control for how dark you want to toast, the option to toast from frozen and also a bagel setting which is not standard on some models.
The functions are touch buttton instead of the old fashioned dial turn, and the display is digital and easy to understand. The crumb tray is very effective and also easy to remove and clean.
The warming rack does it's job very well and can hold a couple of slices.
The toaster does beeps rather loudly when finished and also has a fast acting cancel option.
PERSONAL OPINION.
I have used the toaster for a couple of years now and have had no major problems.
I do find that some slices of packaged pre-cut bread are a little too long and require me to cut off the crusts. However,it toasts crumpets very well...

A Toast to Toasting....
Review of Morphy Richards 44721 by
shaheena
Advantages: some great feature
Disadvantages: could be slightly cheaper
...why I chose to write about toasters is because the actual product that I will be reviewing is the Morphy Richards Toaster 44721 which I have in my kitchen that I use to toast my breads in the morning and it does a fantastic job.
What are my experiences of the Morphy Richards Toaster 44721? I love the product, I love the deign and love the way it toasts my breads without it burning. The silver and cream finish makes it so modern and the rectangular and curve shape makes it looks very stylish in my kitchen next my stylish kettle. I find it very easy to use and it’s also very easy to clean. The pull out crumb tray is very useful and collects all the crumbs and once it’s full, all you have to do is pull it out and wash it away with liquid and water.
In my household everyone is a big fan of toast, its toast in the mornings and its toast...

The names Richards..Morphy Richards & I make Toast
Review of Morphy Richards 44720 by
star333
Advantages: Looks nice & it turns my bread into toast.
Disadvantages: None.
...Last Tuesday morning, I went to do some toast for myself and half way though doing it, my toaster set it'self on fire, So off I went to Argos in search of a new one.
I was going though the Argos catologue and added up buying the Morphy Richards 44720.
^*^*^*^*^*^* THE PRODUCT*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
This Morphy Richards 44728 Contemporary Brushed Finish 2-Slice Toaster has everything I want in a toaster, it has a Cancel Button, this is a button that can stop the toasting action immediately,a defrost setting, this is a lower power setting for the heating elements to de frost toast, I think this is a brilliant idea, I am always forgetting to take the bread out of the freezer. Reheat Setting, a gentle warming that a toaster can administer to bread that has already been toasted to save on having to get another slice out.
Variable Width...

Toast to Perfection
Review of Morphy Richards 44931 Perfection by
mrtimharry
Advantages: Very quick and great toasting
Disadvantages: Two slices at a time only
...Couple of months ago I decided to splash a little cash around and get some matching appliances for my kitchen. Seeing as I have always been satisfied by my Morphy Richards products like my bread maker and kettle.
So I returned to Amazon to look at a toaster for my kitchen. I quickly stumbled upon the 44931 Perfection at £29.99. To be honest I didn't really look at the details, I just looked at the picture and immediately saw it sitting in my kitchen. So I snapped it up and brought it straight away.
So I suppose I had better give some details about it.
Well it is mainly black and silver, the silver comes into play with a lid that automatically slides across the top. This is probably the thing that sets it apart from other toasters. What happens is that the toast is taken automatically down at the touch of a button and toasted...
