Status: New - Discombobulated Simon A. Morrison describes his journalism thus: I climb into the story and start drinking until things go wrong. And you know what? They tend to. Discombobulated tentatively started as a hands-on study of global youth cultures, but fell into disarray somewhere on page three; it stands now as the chronicle of a trip into the Wrong Side, following the authors modus operandi, which is to combobulate... Status: New - What happens when a coffee-drinking, cigarette-smoking, steak-eating twenty-five-year-old atheist decides it is time to get in touch with her spiritual side? Not what you'd expect... When Suzanne Morrison decides to travel to Bali for a two-month yoga retreat, she wants nothing more than to be transformed from a twenty-five-year-old with a crippling fear of death into her enchanting yoga teacher, Indra-a woman who seems to have found it all: love, self, and God. But things don't go quite as expected. Once in Bali, she finds that her beloved yoga teacher and all of her yogamates wake up every morning to drink a large, steaming mug of their own urine. Sugar is a mortal sin. Spirits inhabit kitchen appliances. And the more she tries to find her higher self, the more she faces her cynical, egomaniacal, cigarette, wine, and chocolate-craving lower self. Yoga Bitch chronicles Suzanne's hilarious adventures and misadventures as an aspiring yogi who might be just a bit too skeptical to drink the kool-aid. But along the way she discovers that no spiritual effort is wasted; even if her yoga retreat doesn't turn her into the gorgeously calm, wise believer she hopes it will, it does plant seeds that continue to blossom in surprising ways over the next decade of her life.
Advantages: Great price, great taste Disadvantages: Discolours teeth and lips
...I felt I had to write a review of this product as I buy it every week. I take alot of medication for long-term health problems and they work great - but one of the disadvantages of them is that they leave me very dehydrated and I continuously want to drink.
We hunted around for drinks for me to have, and as I am not a real fan of cordial we started trying the Morrisons 3 bottles for a pound...
Advantages: Food is fresher, nice 'market' layout, lovely cafe and clean store Disadvantages: Can be more pricey than other supermarkets.
...usually shop at the Wednesbury Morrisons store so my review is centred around the services that this store provides and may not apply to other stores.
One of the main reasons my elderly mum is very fond of Morrisons is the cafe. The cafe is large and well lit with lots of large windows and there are plenty of seats. You can help yourself to cold food, cold drinks and tea and coffee and order food...
Advantages: interesting, engaging, relentless, lack of closure Disadvantages: difficult to read at points, not the best reading experience
...A Child of the Jago was one of the books I had to read for a literature/history module last year at university, and to be honest I didn't really know what to expect. I'd never read any Morrison before and, given that the topic of Victorian London is one of my favourite things to read about, I didn't know how it would compare to the work I had already read. To be honest, I still don't know exactly...
