It's a phone... with a music player built in..

Advantages: Looks great, has a decent music player, ok memory capacity
Disadvantages: Mediocore camera, questionable durabilty, short battery capacity, non-upgradeable memory

...I've had my Razr2 since November 2008 (IIRC) and I think it's time for a review of some kind! Well, I'll start with the good things. The phone itself is very attractive, it has a shiny metallic look and a touch screen on the clam,(only operational when playing music but we'll talk about that later) and when you open it up you are greeted to a decent sized screen and metallic key-pad. It doesn't feel very cheap when you get it out of the box. The keypad irritates my hands when they are hot/clammy, however. It's a good size for your hand and is rather thin. It still doesn't look old fashioned, even in 2009! Talking of the box, included is the relevant paperwork, a wired hands free +earphone thing which plugs into the side of the side of the phone, coincidentally into the same slot the charger goes. ...I have had this phone for a few months now. I am really happy with it, probably the best phone I've owned up to know in my opinion. So I admit it, I bought this phone based upon its looks. I tend to put style over practicality. But overall I am very happy with it. Looks Visually this phone is stunning. The phone is made out of a steal frame, with chemically hardened glass. The hinge is made of highly polished chrome. Although this can be a magnet for fingerprints, it will look great as long as you keep it clean. I often hear people say how swanky my phone looks. At 11.9mm, it's 2mm thinner then it's predecessor, and slightly wider. Due to the fact that it is wider then the previous RAZR, it has quite large buttons. This makes text messaging very easy to do. ...Motorola Razr2 V8: When this phone came out of the box, my first thought was 'WOW, that's fantastic!'. My second thought was 'If this works as well as it looks then I'm ecstatic!'. This is the first time I have bought a phone online without seeing it in a brick and mortar store but I am a Motorola fan and felt I couldn't really go wrong. Charge/Battery: The battery charged very quickly out of the box. After several hours of constant use, including Bluetooth time, it was down to 1 bar on the display. However when the phone is connected to the computer, it also charges. Second charge time was about 1 hour and half to full charge and the battery has remained at full (3 bars) despite being connected to Bluetooth for approx 2 hours. ...Where to start? Well I've had my Motorola since Christmas, and I still love it. This phone has style, it looks fantastic, and I am often told this by friends. Motorola Rzr V8 2 ... Very swish!

...What can i say about this!! I love mine ! I got it free on Vodafone. It's £35 a month for 500 minutes and 1000 texts. A little bit more expensive thebn what i would normally go for, but i couldnt get signal on my Orange phone anywhere. Well, they say that these phones are supposed to be very strong. I am normally very careful with my phones and have never broken one of my own accord, but i managed to break this one. It was on charge and i had the clam open. I caught the wire with my foot and it hit the wardrobe, forming a crack on the inside screen :o( Luckily i took insurance out for 5.99 a month. I sent it off to get repaired and they are now sending me a new one, which i wait for :o) The phones features are brilliant. ...I had the first razr and loved it, after that I had a l7 then a k1 and now a razr2. Its far more advanced software wise than all the older motorola's, the screen resolution is excellent so the pictures are sharp and clear. The outer display is a lot larger than the previous versions. the text read out facility is funny and very interesting! the general feel of the of the phone is very high quality. ...I quite chiildishly bought the RAZR2 because of the adverts. My ipod had just broken so what better than to have a phone and MP3 player combined! But music bought from itunes doesn't work on this phone unless you illegally transfer the files to microsoft media player, and the phone can only hold about 100 songs. If you were thinking, 'oh great, a touch screen!' then think again. Yes, it does sound rather cool but putting your phone in your pocket whilst your music is on means that you only get to listen to 10 seconds of a song before the phone decides to change it, obviously you can lock the external keys but frankly this is a bit of hassel you don't need. V8 Motorola to buy or not to buy

Advantages: Sexy looking with Interactive Screen

...I hav had this phone twice as the first one was broken very easily and the second one is still with me at the moment. The V8 is very stylish and sexy and i find this phone has some really great features such as the interactive front screen, You can read your messages and quick reply without opening the phone, Play Music and switch between songs, But find that the Music player can be somewhat annoying and switch itself on if the phone is nocked. I find that the sound quality is good. I find that the battery life is terrible and has to be charged daily, there isn't alot of memory to store music and photos and no slot for a memory card. The camara is terrible quality. Overall i feel that the phone doesn't live up to the buzz and personaly i would not recommend this phone. I hope that you find my comments usefull...
