Repairs fall short
Review of Motorola V50 by
jalford
Advantages: Phone was gradually replaced, part by part each time it was returned
Disadvantages: 4 repair jobs before a replacement even when still within warranty. Not good enough.
...A little while ago I owned a Motorola StarTac 85 and I was very pleased with it. However I'd had it for just under 12 months when I experienced problems with charging. I found that I was having to try and hold the connection at an angle in order for it to charge and if the connection was disturbed the phone would turn off and charging would cease.
I took the phone back to the shop as it was still within 12 months of being purchased. I demonstrated the fault and they returned it to Motorola to be examined. It came back shortly after supposedly fixed but when I got it home I found that the fault was still present. I returned it to the shop and it was sent away again. This time when it came back from Motorola things were more promising as it appeared to have had a new screen fitted (at least there was a piece of protective film over...

THE THIN PHONE.
Review of Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 Cosmic blue by
apatra
Advantages: NOT HEAVY, FANTASTIC FUNCTIONS AND EASY TO TAKE AROUND.
Disadvantages: THE SAME OLD MOTOROLLA MENU.
...Hello Moto that is the new Motorola advertisement and in the real and actual sense, this is a popular advertisement that really gave this Motorola razor its name and it became a national anthem of the phone.
This is a very small, thin and a fantastic phone that has a lot of functions and also a flip phone.
In my household, Nokia has been my phone brand but I decided to give this Motorola phone product a nice try and the Hello motor anthem drew my interest in the phone thanks to the popular advertisement that really gave this phone a fantastic sales.
Very thin phone with a lot of fantastic functions but with the old Motorola menu.
Motorola has been known for not been good in the making of good and reliable phones because all along, Motorola's phones has...

MUST READ REPORT ON MOTOROLA T2288
Review of Motorola Talkabout T2288 by
spartacus_kev
Advantages: Internet Access
Disadvantages: Poor amount of ringtones
...The motorola t2288 is quite an interesting phone. It is not a phone for teenagers, I repeat this is not a phone for TEENAGERS. The motorola t2288 does not allow picture message, or logos or even creating or recieving ringtones. However this phone is perfect for adults who do not want a million and one tones, nor do they want thousands of picture messages or logos. Just a basic phone which rings someone with the bonus of being able to send and recieve e-mails.
The motorola posseses wap technology. For the non-technical readers this means that you can access the internet through your mobile phone. Now don`t expect to be able to play 3D games with surround sound, all you can really do is send and recieve e-mails, check the weather and the lottery numbers or check the traffic on major roads.
Eventhough this phone has many set backs...

The Orange Just Talk M3788e
Review of Motorola M3788 by
andithegoose
Advantages: Cheap, good features for the price.
Disadvantages: Ugly, bulky, rather aged.
...The Motorola M3788e is a fantastic budget phone. At the time of writing, it costs £30.00 on the Orange Just Talk tarrif, and this represents fantastic value.
However, it has it's problems. It's a fairly old phone, and this is shown in it's bulky size and hideous looks. The aerial is also quite long, and this can cause problems for people who like to wear the phone on their belt. The battery is also large, but has a quite good battery life of 3 days.
The motorola is easy to use. It may not have the fancy animated menus of some of it's competitors, but the phone is laid out in a sensible way. There is a graphical shortcut menu, too, so you are never far away from that all-important function.
The Motorola is also extremely robust. Mine has actually been thrown against walls, and yet it still works perfectly. If a heavy duty phone...

Motorola C975
Review of Motorola C975 by
mbuk89
Advantages: 2-way camera, Loudspeaker, Well built, Connect to USB import
Disadvantages: Poor battery life, NO Bluetoth, NO Infrared
...I bought this phone on contract which started as a very good deal for the price, but as time went on the phone gradually showed signs of poor quality. I discovered the battery eventually became bad and had only 24 hour life span. Another problem was the fact that having all the features like camera and sound recorder, it would be helpful to have bluetooth or infrared to send to mates, but the closest you can get to that is a USB connection, or send as MMS.
The Motorola C975 is a well built phone though with all the basic features working appropriately and being fairly easy to use once you learnt it. Not a bad phone for the money. Just be warey of poor battery life. Also has 3G feature and is good for video calling....

Nice!
Review of Motorola 3690 by
Garza007
Advantages: Looks pretty good
Disadvantages: It;s fat
...The Motorola 3690 is a very good looking phone, it's light, weighing 83g...
But!... it may seem small, and it is!... but it is rather a deep phone, it's not long, it's not wide but it's very deep...
Unlike the Sony CMD-Z5 which is thin, short and small, oh yeah and very sexy...
The Motorola 3690 isn't that small really...
It has a bettery standby time of around 100 hours, a battery talk time of around 180 mins and it takes around 150 mins to be fully recharged...
It only comes with 11 ring tones and it has no composer... so not much choice of tones compared to other mobile phones...
Personally I prefer the Sony Z5, Nokia 8210 and maybe the Ericsson T28...

My Motorola T720e
Review of Motorola - any motorolas by
Martinscholes
Advantages: Good design, robust
Disadvantages: Menu functions could be better designed
...I use my Motorola T270e on the Orange network and, on the whole, I find it a useful phone.
The flip up cover works well, and the clarity of the incoming "talk" is good, although can become a problem in some difficult locations. Such as standing at the roadside with trucks, etc., thundering past.
The phone is light and has a good battery capacity and a good, speedy recharge time.
The screen is easy to see and the keypad is reasonably, too. The left, right up and down rocker button is easy to operate, although accessing the menus on the phone is not as easy as I believe it could be. Or should be in point of fact, as Motorola have been making mobile phones long enough by now to be able to provide a menu system that allows the busy mobile phone user to access whatever menu they want as rapidly as possible. Also, easy of use of menus...

Motorola T2288
Review of Motorola Talkabout T2288 by
alexwalker
Advantages: Nice design
Disadvantages: Horrible ,menu, ringtones
...I got a Motorola T2288 for christmas. The first thing I noticed is that it looks very stylish and smooth. Until you use it. The menu system is strange, with long, extended menus. You can shorten them so that only the most commonly used functions are available, like Microsoft Office 2000, which helps, though. There is also a 'quick meny'. 9 of your most commonly used functions can be stored here - you press the quick menu button, then a number ( 1 - 9 ) to choose the item.
The next thing is the ringtones. They're not that good, as Motorola have chosen to use the same dire 11 ringtones on all their phones! Why?
Another niggle is that when you get a call or message, and you press [Cancel], because you don't want it now, it returns you to the standard screen - not what you were at before.
The MOST annoying thing, however, is the power...

Motorola V220, reliable, practical phone.
Review of Motorola V220 by
Lorry123
Advantages: Excellent value for money on a basic, easy to use phone.
Disadvantages: I found no disadvantages.
...At the grand age of 37, i decided, (after much nagging from my husband) that i should treat myself to my first ever mobile phone.
Not understanding anything about mobile phones i decided to read up and shop about on the internet to try and find a suitable phone. I found this Motorola on the Virgin site for a price of £59.95 including £25 of free credit! (that price being 2 years ago) I thought bargain!
After ordering on a Sunday afternoon and recieving the next morning ( a credit to the Virgin site) i excitedly opened my first ever mobile phone.
It does everything i want from a phone. I don't need all these fancy features on a phone. To me this phone is small, lightweight, it looks nice, and is very very easy to use. The camera resolution to me is enough, i got what i paid for. So for that reason i wouldnt say this phone has any...

Compact and functional phone
Review of Motorola RAZR V3 by
shadowtreader
Advantages: Compact and sleek design, can make calls, texts, browse the net and more
Disadvantages: Cannot play music (not that bad of a disadvantage), camera quality isn't brilliant
...While not the best looking phone on the market, and certainly not the most function, the Motorola V3 phone is still very capable of making calls, sending texts, browsing the Internet and taking photographs.
The clamshell design makes the phone very compact and easy to carry around. While you may think that black phones make scratches appear more visible, the Motorola V3 phone is very well protected against scratches.
While you may think that a decent phone must be able to play music, this is not the case, and while the Motorola V3 phone cannot play music, it can play short MP3 ringtones, which should be enough for a phone, as it is not intended to be a music player.
The design is sleek, and the appearance of the phone itself can be very easily customised to use any of the three including skins or any homegrown ones that can easily...
