Not as good as expected
Review of Motorola SLVR L6 by xuenylom

Advantages: Outside pretty and stylish
Disadvantages: Beauty is only skin deep, the inside is dissapointing

...When buying the phone, i thought 'cool, a pink phone, its slim and it looks cool!' on recieving it, it was quite a dissapointment There isn't anywhere near as much memory as on my last phone and i can't store more than 3 good quality songs. Not much more can be said for the video quality, but considering the price and the fact it is a phone, it is pretty fair. The battery is very good. Well, some days it lasts a few hours, and some days, well it lasts for days. The game[s] that came with it were mediocre and weren't very interesting. The picture quality was offensive, motorola cameras are better than nokia in quality, but next time i shall get a sony ericcson. The internet for me has never worked. When in a call, i can never be heard [or can be heard very quietly] The buttons are pretty small and hard to use, but with practise... Read review

Motorola L6 Review
Review of Motorola L6 by petemal

Advantages: Looks good and is slim.
Disadvantages: Poor Bluetooth performance, spontaeneous ring tone changes.

...Stay away from the this phone!!! I got an L6 from Virgin as a recon for nil cost as i had enough reward points from them. Initially i was pleased with it's looks and general performance, although texting is not as easy as my old Nokia3310! It all went Pete Tong when i got a Bluetooth headset to keep legal in the car. The phone continually dis and reconnected with the headset every 60seconds, and when on charge would change the ring tone settings, at one point muting the ring tone. Virgin have given me 3 of these now and are now giving me as a no cost replacement a Sony K750i. The L6 is a good looking phone but can't support all it's features and is temperamental to use.... Great Phone 4 A Great Price
Review of Motorola L6 by charlize79

Advantages: Slim, Lightweight, Easy To Operate
Disadvantages: Low Memory

...I have the Motorola L6 the pink version and i have to say i love it. I have had it for 6mths and it has never gone wrong. I love the fact it is lightweight and slim and of course pretty and pink. The camera may not be your average 1megapixel+ but it takes clear pictures and the video camera is clear and does the job. Ok memory wise it could have had more space but you can't have everything when the price is very little. I transfer my photos and videos from my mobile to my computer anyway so i always have enough memory on my phone. Battery wise i find is ok, then again i guess it depends on how much you use your mobile to talk etc.. I find it easy to text and operate. Speakerphone is clear, ringtones are loud enough to hear. Has the usual calendar, alarm, calculator. Bluetooth can be abit of a pain where it has the find me part which... Read review

Motorola SLVR L6
Review of Motorola L6 by LadyStardust91

Advantages: slim, good value for money, good features
Disadvantages: can be damaged quite easily, flat keypad

...to charge my phone about twice a week. The phone is slim and sleek so if you're looking for a cheap stylish phone with good features then this could be the 1 for you. I've yet to see any covers for it though, but it comes in silver and pink. However due to its size it isn't very robust so it's easy to scratch, but if you don't drop it too much it should remain in good condition. An extra bonus is that it doesn't create a bulge in your jeans!... Read review

Motorola L6
Review of Motorola L6 by colcot

Advantages: funky and sleek
Disadvantages: no PC connection

...'t come with a PC connection (even though a USB connection is on the handset) and the battery didn't last a great deal of time. But for the price the phone is excellent value and I think motorola have designed a great handset, which is thin and sleek, asthetically pleasing and easy to use.... Read review

My motorola
Review of Motorola L6 by Doni07

Advantages: Slim and sleek, easy handling.
Disadvantages: Not enough memory (only 10MB)

...When I first saw the Motorola L6, I was tempted to buy it especially because everyone states that it is the best phone company on the market. Having had an old Nokia 3410, I thought it was time for a bit of a change. Some say the Motorola L6 is excellent when it comes to value for money (including me) but there are many things the American company still need to add to thier excellent product. First, let me tell you about some of the good things about the Motorola L6.It is bluetooth ready which means you can share videos and music with your friends or even connect it to your computer which unfortunately you need a special cable for (£9.99 from Maplin). It's slim and sleek and even fits into the smallest of pockets which is very hard to do these days! The battery life on it lasts up to an amazing 4-5 days but one major drawback... Read review

My dear old friend, MOTOL6.
Review of Motorola L6 by Shan-D

Advantages: Looks good, and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Often problematic.

...So, like all new things, I couldn't wait to get my paws on my brand new, shiney Motorola L6. It was good looking, stylish and really easy to use - a suprise to me! As a phone it functions well, even with built-in, power saving light detector's that ensure maximum usage of the battery with each charge and has good reception during calls. It also has a built in camera and video option, allowing easy on-the-go snaps to all you happy snappers - though admittedly the quality of these is often not the best, who said phones were made to be camera's? With it's slim design, it's easy to fit anywhere and anytime with wide variety's of games to keep you amused. I did however experience some difficulties with the Motorola L6, one of these being that it seemed to like randomly turning itself off between or during calls (quite annoying, you can... Read review

L6 - Does The Job Handset With Great Design
Review of Motorola L6 by Tony2Pints

Advantages: Slim, Light, Robust, Bluetooth
Disadvantages: Akward Texting, Short on Memory

...Not usually a Motorola Fan, I was a little sceptical! However the L6 had me converted! If your after a great looking handset without a lot of the usual frills, the L6 could be perfect for you! The feel of the phone, although really thin, is also really robust! The Blue lights behind the keypad, really make this a cracking looking phone!! The keypad is also well thoughtout and really easy to navigate round the menu with. However, the text messaging is different to any other manufacturer I've tried, people trying Motorola for the first time might struggle to begin with!! It boasts a great battery life, making about 20 - 40 mins of calls a day, a few texts, browsing the web, I can get a good 3-4 days usage without recharging. The camera is of average quality, but you won't pay the earth for this handset!! Also included is a video option... Read review

Great value phone with some good features
Review of Motorola L6 by thriftyemma

Advantages: Includes lots of features for great value
Disadvantages: Not very robust phone, damaged too easily

...I got bought this phone as a birthday present, and was a change from always having a Nokia phone. I got given the hot pink version, which looks great (although obviously rather girly). The phone is simple to use, the menus are user friendly and easy to navigate. It has all the functions you might need, such as calculator and alarm. The camera isn't the greatest quality, but ok for taking quick snaps. The video camera isn't great either, but you do have the option of upping the quality at the expense of using more memory. Bluetooth is simple to use, connecting with other phones or your computer easily. This method is by far the easiest to use when sharing pictures or files. Texting is a bit annoying, as predictive text is actually not that predictable. My fingers also slip on the buttons quite easily, so typos are quite common... Read review
