Motorola T4502 Two-Way Radios

Advantages: Small, lightweight, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Uses 3 AAA batteries per radio, instead of a rechargable 'battery pack'.

...WARNING! -- LONG REVIEW!! -- YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! ~ Alternative title (that I wanted to use) ~ Motorola (from the makers of the V3 RAZR mobile phone) T4502 (Tiny4502???) 8-channel (or 8-frequency) PMR (Professional / Personal Mobile Radio). [It's too long for the box -- LoL!] Wow, what a great little two-way radio! I've had my Nectar Card for a good while and I am also a member of a survey company called "TNS" who award points for completing surveys and you can link your "TNS" account to your Nectar Card then get your TNS points automatically transferred into Nectar Points. Recently the Nectar website (Nectar.com) did a 'Summer of Rewards' promotion where a handful of electrical goods were on sale (!! HALF PRICE !!) for a certain amount of Nectar Points. I saw that they had a two-pack (well I'm sure they had many two...

A quality robust 446 Radio from Motorola

Advantages: Robust, User Friendly, Good features
Disadvantages: Fairly expensive, no vibrate, expensive accessories

...Motorola T5512 Overview The Motorola T5512/22 is a short-range two-way radio, which operates on the PMR446 frequency giving 'up to 3km'. These radios can be used across Europe and are an ideal way to keep in contact with friends, family and colleagues for a range of activities. These radios are at home with Sports Centers, Skiing Holidays, Building Sites, Family Holidays and more. The 5512 are available singularly or as a double pack in blue. For approx. £10 more however the 5522 comes with NiCd batteries and charging pods ? well worth the extra and comes in black. I have the latter but all the features are identical except for the colour. A set of T5522's including charging pods and batteries can be had for around £80, this compared with a cost of £60 for the BT Freeways (with charger and ptt headset) and around £60...

*^*Motorola Razr*^*

Advantages: - Fine for contacting people - Screen is kept safe by flip function
Disadvantages: - Not very much memory - No way to improve memory

...A Motorola Razr is a light and practical flip phone. it isn't reccomended if you want to store lots of music/sounds/video clips, but for just making and recieving calls or texts, it is a very good phone. *MEMORY* The Motorola Razr's memory is approximately 7500 KB. This is enough to store one custom song and some other sounds/videos, but there is already some Motorola made ringtones on the phone. *HEIGHT & WIDTH* The height of the phone when closed is approx. 9.5cm, and is 16cm when flipped up to answer calls etc. The width is 5 cm approx, give or take a centimetre. *APPLICATIONS* It comes with a web browser ( which I think costs money but I didn't want to try it) , several games, office tools and multimedia. the games include; Billiards, Stepping Stones and another which I can't remeber as I delted it. The office tools...

Motorola Mayhem!

Advantages: Looks nice, has built in camera, 2 okay games
Disadvantages: Need credit to do a lot on this phone, bluetooth isn't good, low memory

...This was the biggest accessory for girls 2 years ago after "it" girls like Paris Hilton were seen with it. Of course I had to get it thinking that not only was it stylish but it had a lot of handy tools. I wasn't happy with what I got. ***The Phone*** Motorola describe their phone as "expertly crafted to deliver exceptional performance. Inside the stunning, ultra-thin design are advanced features like MPEG4 video playback, Bluetooth® wireless technology, a digital camera and more. And with the precision-cut keypad, minimalist styling and metal finish, the V3 has its own unmistakable look". But is it as dazzling as they are making out? Simply, NO! Razr seems to have difficulty with a lot of it's built in accessories like the Bluetooth and you'll often find that one Razr phone has different applications to the next. The phone is...

Motorola.. Letting themselves down!

Advantages: Memory card slot
Disadvantages: Battery cannot be depended on!

...On March 27th 2007, I first got my Motorola K1, initially disappointed that I had the silver one over the smart cosmic blue colour I felt slightly deflated. Never the less I decided to give the phone a go and happily plugged in the charger for its first charge which took around 3 hours, which considering it was a brand new phone wasn't too long. Starting the phone up for the first time it does seem to be a little slow and unresponsive, but give it a chance it soon springs into life. Depending on which network your phone is locked to, or unlocked will depends on your initial wallpaper. With around 20 to choose from its easy top find a wallpaper you like, or even if you're daring enough to use a photo to fill your wallpaper space. Which ultimately I ended up doing as I got a bit bored of the pre-loaded wallpapers. The buttons are...

Motorola W377

Advantages: Great budget phone
Disadvantages: Lack of instructions, few extra features

.... Photos can then be stored on the phone (which has 10MB of memory), shared via MMS messaging or downloaded to a computer via USB cable or Bluetooth connectivity. Messaging- as you would expect with all phones these days the Motorola W377 comes with SMS text messaging, Enhanced messaging, Multimedia messaging and predictive text. Sounds- You can listen to FM radio by using optional headphones with the W377, and it also comes preloaded with MP3 ringtones which can be personalised. Entertainment- The W377 comes with preloaded games (inc. Tetris) which I can't really comment on as I never use my mobile to play games so I don't know how they compare to other games. The mobile also comes with WAP internet. Organisation- tools include currency converter, personal mobile calendar, one-touch SMS and MMS messaging, Bluetooth wireless...

Motorola v3... only for style

Advantages: very stylish
Disadvantages: lack of memory, slow Bluetooth speed .....

...Motorola v3 is a good phone. It is a stylish mobile. The slim body, smooth shape & design made the mobile very fantastic! Specially the Second CSTN display increases the style. I can give 9/10 for its look. & 5/10 for its specification. May be you are guessing why i gave 5/10 for the specification? Its because Motorola v3's specification is not seems very good to me... 1. There is no memory card slot in the mobile. So you have to depend on its 5.5 MB built-in memory. & 5.5 MB is very small memory!!!. You can keep Maximum 3 songs (normal Quality) in the mobile. & if you keep 3 songs, then you cannot keep you photo or take picture/ video camera... 2. There is no EDGE, 3g & Infrared. Only you can transfer files by Bluetooth or USB Cable. & the Bluetooth speed of Motorola v3 is slow.!! 3. Sometimes dust may go inside your...

Motorola V3 Razr

Advantages: Silm, lock down features
Disadvantages: Limited Memory, no flash on camera

...I purchased this mobile phone as an upgrade to my Sharp GX20, it was a rather blind purchase, chosen upon due to its looks and that Jeremy Clarkson (the tall guy on Top Gear) had one, that was the winner for me. The first thing I noticed about my phone is that, although its very slim, it has been made longer to compensate, however this was not a problem, it has also been noted that many people do not like the way the microphone sticks out at the bottom, however I do not see a way that Motorola could have adapted this to the same use. What else can I say? It's a motorola, I have never had one myself but know people that have, one of its best features, as with all Motorola phones is that it has the ability to lock certain features, so if your cheating on your spouse, you can lock your SMS Text Messages, so they can only be acessed by...

Advantages: looks good, great signal wherever you are
Disadvantages: does not come with a phone cover

Review of Motorola V3

Motorola RAZR V3

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Sub-standard camera and build quality

...The Motorola V3 is an average mobile. It looks nice which is pretty much why I bought one, but for general use it`s not brilliant. As a phone it`s ok but if you want to take photos with it it`s not very good at all. If it is a slightly bright day then I wouldn`t bother trying to take a photo. If it`s slightly dark then you get the same results. If, however, it`s an overcast day then you might be lucky to get a half decent photo. If it`s a bit dark you get a very grainy picture and if it`s bright you get pixel ditortion. Not very good at all. The speaker on the other hand is not bad at all - quite clear and easy to use as a speaker phone. It is quite easy to navigate the different features on it and entering names and numbers is straight forward. The build quality is ok, but I`ve owned other mobiles that seemed more solidly...
