The MOTORAZR Maxx
Review of Motorola MOTORAZR MAXX by
lizzie1963
Advantages: Sleek design, Faster internet browsing
Disadvantages: Music buttons can be tricky
...I got browsing on the net a few days ago, the objective being that I was on the lookout for a new phone. I ventured on to the Orange shop and found a suitable phone, the MotoRAZR Maxx V6. I liked it for the size and style. I got it on contract so I got the handset free. For £35 a moth I get 800 anytime minutes, 100texts and unlimited anytime calls to landline phones.
The box contained 1 MotoRAZR Maxx V6 handset, Battery, charger, Sim card, User manual, Software CD, Handsfree Kit, 3g USIM card and a USB cable.
The MotoRAZR Maxx V6 is an upgrade from the V3. It is a sleek, clamshell design. It is 104mm long, 53mm wide and has a depth of 15mm and weighs in at 100 grams, this is slightly heavier compared to some of the other phones I looked at. It has a 256k QVGA screen that is 120 x 160 display. I got it in what they call liquorice black...

Motorola Razr V3i (red)
Review of Motorola RAZR V3i by
rtc1993
Advantages: as stated
Disadvantages: as stated
...I bought the Motorola Razr in January 2007, and loved it at the time. I have actually got the 'red' version of the phone, which is just about the same as the normal V3i razr, but is a different colour, has different default images and a sum of money that i paid for the phone went to helping people with aids in Africa.
The Phone has a lot of strong points, but also a few disapointing aspects too. The phone is small, thin, and un-noticable when in a pocket. It has a stylish, easy to use keypad and menu, andis great for every day tasks such as alarm, calculator and camrea. The camera is 1.23 megapixels, and is a fantastic quality picture. The camera can also be used as a video recorder, recording up to about 5 minutes worth of video.
The phone has a very good battery life, considering the actual size of the phona and battery itself. a rough...

Motorola V8
Review of Motorola MOTORAZR2 V8 by
com235
Advantages: Light, Brill sound qualtity, resonably priced
Disadvantages: Doesnt have a memory card slot
...Motorola well what can I say they have brought out another wicked phone into the RAZR Range.Up until a few months ago I was using the v3i which I was really happy with but I fancied a change so I went to o2 and got a sony errision I wasnt happy at all with it so took it back and got another Motorola the v8 from the moment I first opened the box it was truely love. The touch screen on the front of the phone makes for easy changing of the songs. Motorola have really throught about the customer for example if you miss a call or a text message then every ten mins from the phone you will hear a beep to alert you on the this. You can expect to find this phone for round about £125.99 is most shops althrough thr cheapest way to get this phone would be to buy it throught a contract....

My Take On The Motorola RAZR V3i
Review of Motorola RAZR V3i by
fiona_king_x3
Advantages: sleek, stylish and easy to use
Disadvantages: battery life is short and bluetooth hardly works
... Motorola RAZR V3i
I got the Motorola RAZR V3i about a year ago for my birthday, and now it's already beyond repair. The screen at the front of the phone is completely smashed and its running incredibly slow. It worked really great for the first few months i had it. The only thing i wasn't too happy about was the fact the bluetooth didn't work properly. You couldn't search for devices, they either had to search you, or browse your files. Apart from that i thought it was quite a decent phone.
But then my phone started to run extremely slow, and the bluetooth stopped working all together. Also occasionaly when i phoned someone, or if they phoned me, the screen would just go white and my phone would restart. I'm not sure if it was just because the signal was bad, but sometimes when i phoned people the sound went all crackled...

The Motorola Razr V3 - it really is quite sharp!
Review of Motorola RAZR V3 by
mkkreuk
Advantages: Great design, really ncie and light and a simplcity personified
Disadvantages: Lacking in features, poor memory and battery.
...The Motorola Razr V3 was my first phone and thus I harbour quite a soft spot for it!
It really is a great phone despite a couple of its shortcomings. It was the first super slim phone and it had a great design with its unique precision cut keypad. It was also one of the first phones to step away from the plastic mode and started using metals to make it really sleek whilst maintaining its light stature. The aluminium alloy case is not only lightweight, but strong too, and should survive everyday bumps and scratches (I dropped it quite hard once in the supermarket and it was still fine!). In the looks department it receives full marks every time!
The V3 is a great phone, designed primarily for its looks and as such it does suffer in the functionality department! Although, for many users this may not be noticeable, particularly for people...

Motorola V3 Razr
Review of Motorola RAZR V3 Handy by
aj3001
Advantages: Silm, lock down features
Disadvantages: Limited Memory, no flash on camera
...I purchased this mobile phone as an upgrade to my Sharp GX20, it was a rather blind purchase, chosen upon due to its looks and that Jeremy Clarkson (the tall guy on Top Gear) had one, that was the winner for me.
The first thing I noticed about my phone is that, although its very slim, it has been made longer to compensate, however this was not a problem, it has also been noted that many people do not like the way the microphone sticks out at the bottom, however I do not see a way that Motorola could have adapted this to the same use.
What else can I say? It's a motorola, I have never had one myself but know people that have, one of its best features, as with all Motorola phones is that it has the ability to lock certain features, so if your cheating on your spouse, you can lock your SMS Text Messages, so they can only be acessed...

RAZR V3-COULD IT GET ANY WORSE?!
Review of Motorola RAZR V3 by
buffink
Advantages: NONE THAT I HAVE FOUND
Disadvantages: TOO MANY TO MENTION!
...The motorola RAZR V3 is a sleek, spohisicated peice of rubbish! I only bought mine on the recomendation on a friend, and I have no end of trouble.
The battery is in an inpenatratable casing, which gets quite frustrating when you need access! It always looks like the casing is going to snap!
After 4 months of using this phone (not that frequently may I add) the outer buttons no longer work, the screen randomly turns off if the phone is closed, and people cannot hear anything unless on loud speaker! Absolutely Crazy!
The only redeeming feature to this phone is the camera, as this seems to the only working feature!
I would go into the different selections on the menu, but I was unable to use these as more often then not the phone wouldn't allow it!
I would definately not recommend this phone to anyone-no matter what your...

Compact and functional phone
Review of Motorola RAZR V3 by
shadowtreader
Advantages: Compact and sleek design, can make calls, texts, browse the net and more
Disadvantages: Cannot play music (not that bad of a disadvantage), camera quality isn't brilliant
...While not the best looking phone on the market, and certainly not the most function, the Motorola V3 phone is still very capable of making calls, sending texts, browsing the Internet and taking photographs.
The clamshell design makes the phone very compact and easy to carry around. While you may think that black phones make scratches appear more visible, the Motorola V3 phone is very well protected against scratches.
While you may think that a decent phone must be able to play music, this is not the case, and while the Motorola V3 phone cannot play music, it can play short MP3 ringtones, which should be enough for a phone, as it is not intended to be a music player.
The design is sleek, and the appearance of the phone itself can be very easily customised to use any of the three including skins or any homegrown ones that can easily...

Motorola RAZR Pink
Review of Motorola RAZR V3 Special Edition Hot Pink by
frog159
Advantages: nice screen, nice design
Disadvantages: everything else
...I got this phone for christmas in 2006 as a gift. I wanted it because of the design and the camera on it.
Design:
The design of this phone is very cool and classy, when i first got this people said to "won't it break or snap because it is so thin?" but it was really quite durable and after having it for one year it only had one scratch on it. The Motorola RAZR is very well designed, being the slimmest flip phone in the world until others came out. It is quite wide though, and takes up quite alot of space in your pocket.
Basics:
Screen: This was nice and large and it was easy to change the wallpaper and screensaver. The bad thing was that you there was icons in the way of the wallpaper, which you couldn't move or see behind.
Games: Installed on this phone there are three games which include Golf and Snooker. The games are what I really...

How does the V3i compare to the original RAZR??
Review of Motorola razr V3i Dolce & Gabbana limited edition mobile phone. by
fenty17
Advantages: Quad band, still as sleek as the RAZR, iTunes
Disadvantages: keypad too small for texting, only 1.2 Megapixel camera
...Being a previous user of the benchmark V3 RAZR, I was much intruiged to see what this model had to offer, especially seen as I was put off the chunkier V3x. The V3i has much of the same look, build quality, buttons and features as the RAZR but with a few tweaked components such as the iTunes software and stereo audio format.
One of my biggest problems with the original V3 was the quality of the camera. One realises the difficulty of getting a high quality camera in such a small package, but we all want what isn't possible!!! This time though, Motorola have used a 1.2 Megapixel camera which provides much better results but is still behind it's Sony Ericsson rivals.
The keypad still has that sparkle quality, but is still rediculously small. I'm not a frantic texter but the V3i can be a little frustrating. Only 12Mb of internal...
