...I originally got the Motorola V3 mobile phone for Christmas, and I was very much looking forward to using it, although I have previously heard very bad reviews about it, I mainly just wanted a Pink phone. When I looked through all the features and the basics of what the phone did, I was very disappointed. This phone just doesn't compare to most mobiles that were released at the same time. It really is behind. The camera for starters is quite simply dreadful, the photo's almost seem to look different in the photo album than when the picture is actually taken. The quality is not good at all, but what do you expect when this phone doesn't even have any Mega-pixels? My children were gratifyingly envious and even the husband seemed impressed. I got my phone via Vodafone, with an 18 month contract with the first 6 months at half price line rental. The battery life can be one of the only things that lets this phone down but that is only when using GPRS and Bluetooth, when just using it for standard operation i.e. Phone calls and texts it is fine. ...On March 27th 2007, I first got my Motorola K1, initially disappointed that I had the silver one over the smart cosmic blue colour I felt slightly deflated. Never the less I decided to give the phone a go and happily plugged in the charger for its first charge which took around 3 hours, which considering it was a brand new phone wasn't too long.
