Great juicer

Advantages: efficient, simple to use, easy to wash most parts, looks ok
Disadvantages: noisy, large, washing the sieve, citrus fruits must be peeled

...Since I'm one of those people who resolves to be healthy every once in a while, I was very happy when my dad bought home the Moulinex Whole fruit juicer - it doesn't say the code on the front of the manual or the front of the machine so I had to use my newly juice sustained muscles to lift it up and read that it was the Ju500! When I first took it out of the box, it all looked very complicated (there are 9 separate parts: the large pusher, small pusher, reducer for small pusher, feed tube/cover, the sieve, juice collector, motor unit, pulp collector and brush) so the manual was very useful! The first thing to do was to wash all the removable parts and put it all together (this took me a good while). Before making the juice, I had to decide which pusher to use (the large pusher is just a fat stick that pushes the fruit down...

Great juicer

Advantages: extracts juice efficiently
Disadvantages: noisey

I bought this juicer because it is 300 watts and you need a powerful motor if you are going to juice regularly and I use mine every day. This juicer extacts a lot of the juice it leaves the pulp really dry, I used to have a Jack la Lanne power juice ( £120 ) which I sold and I think that this one is nearly as good!! The hole at the top where you put the cut up friut and vegetables in is not very big - 7cm x 3.5 cm or 3" x 1 1/2 " approx. if you still work in imperial. Juicy juicer!

Advantages: Don't need to spend ages preparing the fruit.
Disadvantages: Mesh spinner bit difficult to clean.

...I bought this juicer in the middle of a health food kick and to replace my cheap one, which was fiddly and took a lot of work in terms of preparation. This juicer looks a bit fiddly at first but it's easy to use. It has non slip feet at the bottom and a long lead. It has a large pulp collector at the side where the pulp from the fruit or veg goes. It can be quite messy but I've found it a lot easier if, when you buy fruit etc you pick up a few extra plastic bags and place one of these in the container to collect pulp. It's then just a case of taking it out and throwing the bag away. At the top is the plastic presser that you use to push the fruit down to the centrifuge. This is really easy to clean. The lid can be used curved side up (as in the picture) but I find it easier to turn it upside down and place it over...

excellent fruit juicer

...Details: 600 watts. 1 litre juice container. 2 speed settings. Stainless steel filter. 2 litre pulp container. Easy clean. Safety locker. Dishwasher safe. Non slip feet. have had it four weeks now and used it every day and it seems to be coping fineand is quite quick. It is however very noisy (louder than a vaccuum cleaner!) and juice sometimes escpaes the pulp collector - I think caused by the vibration. The juice collector contains 1000ml -enough to collect juice for one person. Performs very well for about a third of the price of top models, easy to assemble, powerful motor and easy to clean. can't beat your own fresh fruit juices. Good value juicer, 1st one we've owned but easy to use and good results. Cleaning all the bits is the only chore, but then you can't have everything. I recommend to other buyers...

...Getting a Juicer had often come up for discussion in our house but there was usually some reason that the particular model was rejected, either it was too expensive, or too big - or it came at a time when fruit was particularly expensive. When we saw the Moulinex JuiceMaster Duo, with it's 200 watt motor, it seemed just right for our needs. It was reasonably compact, reasonably inexpensive and also had the added advantage of having a centrifugal juicer with an interchangeable citrus press. The appearance is rather pleasing and, being not too large; it fits into a much smaller space than a lot of others. It measures approximately eight inches (approx. 20cm) in diameter and stands about eleven inches (approx. 28cm) high including the funnel. The base is white and round and the top part - or pulp container is clear plastic...

Review of Moulinex Juice Master DUO

My Moulinex manual mixer

Advantages: Inexpensive, comfortable grip, effective, long-lasting
Disadvantages: Slight difficulty cleaning vents

...I bought my Moulinex hand-mixer around five years ago, for about £10. Previously I had had larger mixers, the kind that come with a stand and a bowl. However I had found some distinct disadvantages with this type of mixer: for one thing, they either take up a great deal of space on the kitchen work surfaces, or get packed away in a cupboard and then it's a nuisance to get them out. Then there's the problem that only one bowl (that supplied with the mixer) will fit the base, so if I wanted to mix two or three things in separate bowls, I had to keep decanting what was already mixed, and cleaning the bowl out. And if the bowl breaks, the mixer becomes useless, unless you can find a replacement. With some mixers it's possible to remove the main mechanism from the stand, and use it as a hand-held one, but I never found that this worked...

...I bought this at Argos for £25. This being my second juicer after returning the Argos XB433 (do not buy!). For £25 it is a great juicer. With only a 600 Watt motor it is not as fast as the other more expensive models, but definitely copes well with all types of fruit and vegetables. The rotating mesh is a good size so it can extract as much juice as possible. The pulp is quite dry and collected nicely in the side pulp collector. It does leak though very slightly on the fastest setting. This is due to the vibration and high air pressure created by the rotating mesh which sucks in air from the side pulp collector and blows it out of the juice dispenser. On the faster setting using oranges, the juice does splash slightly coming out. From one orange I managed to extract just under 200ml. To maximise the juice extraction you have...

Excellent first juicer

Advantages: Juice whole fuit (moreorless) with no fiddly peeling, de-pipping, etc.

...After a dismal disappointment of a leaking Russell Hobbs Juicer I received for Christmas, I returned it to Argos and upgraded to this one. An excellent buy at just £25 (half-price) at the time I am really pleased with it. As with any other centrifugal juicer it suffers from awkward cleaning. Larger than I expected from the picture, its size (slightly larger than my washing up bowl) makes this additionally difficult, but not excessively so. Two speed settings seem to help extract the most juice from the fruit. I seemed to get more than the previous juicer I tried. A large one litre juice container and even larger waste pulp bucket are filled through a shroud that fully-encloses the area where juice and pulp are flung - other juicers take note - this avoids leaks! .... You really have to be a smoothy/juice adict to gtet the best value out of this, you can buy a lot of smoothies for the cost of this and the fruit. Would I buy it again?...No, do I recommend it ? if you want a juicer it has to be this one....

A very good juicer

...My first juicer was a practice one, only about twenty pounds. I got my money's worth. It juiced about 50% so I had to put the fruit through twice to get all the juice out of it. And then there was the pulp and the foam. What a nightmare. I requested the Philips Juicer as my manager had it at the office and I found how brilliant this machine was. Not only was it extremely efficient, ie juicing about 95-100% of the juices in the fruits/vegetables, but you could put the whole fruits in, ie I didn't have to cut the apples! Time-saver! I liked that you get a jug with it, but also a separate attachment with the jug which prevents the foam from getting through therefore you just have pure juice and none of the pulp. There are two speeds on the machine. One for your normal fruits that don't require much effort, ie oranges...
