...This next review is on my time on The Blue Mountains National Park, located in Sydney Australia. A few friends and I had decided to hire a van and take a tour of the national park, as we had been recommended it by several people we had met along the way. I am usually a fan of national parks; it gives you a chance to take in the scenic view, it gives you a chance to relax and unwind if you have had a busy week, and you even get to see some wildlife. It?s a great experience, which allows you to camp overnight, whilst also have a magnificent driving experience. History & Park Info: The park covers 267,954 hectares, which included several mountains and rivers along the trek. Review of The Blue Mountains

Queen of the Valley

Advantages: Interesting, very interesting!
Disadvantages: The most famous tomb is now closed.

Our guide explains that there are so many tombs here that people just dig into the mountain, and if they hit a void, they have probably found a tomb, so apply for permission to excavate. Review of Valley of the Queens

  Valley of the Kings

Advantages: Chateaux and gardens, old towns and local cuisine
Disadvantages: Unexciting landscapes, well-trodden tourist trail

We saw the sights, oohed at the chateaux and aahed at their gardens, but were not much tempted to go back for any length of time until some friends suggested it might be just within reach for the five-day short break to which their expiring Eurotunnel points entitled them. The Derwent valley reservoirs

Advantages: A great day out for all the family

A small island lies in the one and a half mile stretch of water. Review of The Derwent Valley, Derbyshire

Lightwater Valley - home of the underdog.

Advantages: Cheap, Largely good rides, At times beautiful...
Disadvantages: ...at times shoddy, In-park prices not so good, looking a little run down.

...Visiting theme parks is ultimately, somewhat of a pot luck experience - queues, weather, ride breakdowns can make or mangle your day, and ultimately that is what you should bear in mind when reading a review on one - you day is not necessarily in your own hands, but the wise traveller would be one who remembers the golden rule - eat early and late, bring a change of clothes, and plan in advance those things you want to do, and you're halfway there. Anyhoo. So is it any good? Almost. Anyone new to Lightwater Valley, and if you are reading this review, then there's a good chance that might be you, on a good day, Lightwater valley is a hoot, on a bad day, it is a chore - but either way, it is home to one of Europe's finest Roller coasters, and for a newbie, that is worth the admission price alone. The first scene shows a young woman and an elderly woman as they go to visit one of their relatives who was accused of speaking the forbidden mountain language. The older woman was bitten by one of the dogs in the prison, and yet the officer and sergeant torture her and her companion with stupid questions and harass the latter sexually. Disadvantages: Lots Of Enviromental Damage Was Caused During Its Creation

...I am very fortunate that I live only a short distance from the Peak District National Park which offers some of the finest scenery in England. The Derwent Valley lies in the Hope Valley within the Peak District and connects three large man made Reservoirs called Howden Dam. Derwent Reservoir, and Ladybower. I have visited this area many times and I am always spellbound by its sheer natural beauty, but beneath these dark waters lies a sordid tale of destroyed Villages and an Environmental disaster. GETTING THERE Ladybower, the largest of the three bodies of Water lies at the bottom end of the Derwent Valley and directly beside the A57 Road which connects Sheffield to Manchester. The Blue Mountains are approx 100 kms West of Sydney (60-90 minutes drive) and form part of The Great Dividing Range. This was an impenetrable barrier on the voyage of discovery and it wasn't until 1813 that they were crossed by Gregory Blaxland, William Charles Wentworth and a Lieutenant Lawson, along with four servants. By July 1814 a 47 mile road had been built and within six months the road extended all the way to what is now Bathurst, 101 miles away. THE MOUNTAIN DRINK.

Advantages: NICE CITRUS FLAVOUR.
Disadvantages: TASTELESS WHEN HOT AND EXCESS SUGAR AND CAFFEINE.

...When I heard about the mountain dew drink, I was anxious to know the company responsible for the drink because it was a new drink. Later to realize that it is manufactured under the license of the Pepsi & 7up company. Normally my interest for fizzy drinks are now moving off but I still give them a little bit attention by drinking them occasionally but this mountain dew drink is a drink you will like to drink as an adult because as a caffeine content most people like me will like to getting the caffeine taste. Came in existence in the 1940"s in Tennessee the mountain dew I think came into competition with other fizzy drinks of recent. Actually, this mountain dew drink is banned in many countries do to the excess caffeine present in it and no wonder I cant actually drop this drink...
