Canon Pixma MP190 Good value, decent Printer

Advantages: Very good price, good print quality
Disadvantages: Does not come with USB cable to connect to computer.

...I have just bought and finished installing this printer, so I have decided to share my views on it. I bought it at the local Tesco Extra, after some research I found that they offered it at the lowest price, at £30. I also got 10% as they only had the display one left in store. However, as I bought it in store I did not get free delivery and had to carry it the 2 miles home, something I wont recommend if your arms get tired easily. It comes in a large box, and is well packaged so it does not rattle about in the box. You are provided with the Pixma MP190 printer, 2 ink cartridges (one black and one colour), setup CD-ROM, Printed documents and a power cord. You will need to buy a separate USB cable to connect the printer to your laptop or PC, something I found out to my annoyance after carrying it all the way home and excited to get...

Miami Ink!

Advantages: Interesting to watch, loads of cool tattoos to look at
Disadvantages: Often I find myself wanting a tattoo done by Chris Garver but unfortunately I don't live in Americ

The series began in July 2005, introducing four eager tattooists, Ami James, Chris Nunez, Chris Garver and Darren Brass, as well as Ami's apprentice, Yoji Harada. Throughout the episodes new tattooists enter and go, the most famous probably being Kat Von D who turned the studio around with her beautiful portrait tattoos. Each show lasts about an hour long, and during that time we see a variety of clients enter the studio to get their tattoos. The guys who run/work in the studio are all fairly young, heavily tattooed and have been through different walks of life. Most of them have spent their lives tattooing, so working in the shop you can tell means a lot to them. Each artist has a different personality...

Review of Miami Ink - Series 1 - Complete (Box Set) (DVD)

THINK INK!

Advantages: Easily obtainable, good value, recyclable.
Disadvantages: Really just the idea of it not being a genuine new original!

...MY HISTORY WITH INK CARTRIDGES: From the time I bought my first printer, I have really had nothing but problems when it has come to keeping them supplied with ink! The brand named cartridges generally contain less ink for your money and so they need either need replacing more frequently, or you pay considerably more. My first printer, an Epson, was bought along with bottles of refill ink and a syringe to inject each colour into the colour cartridge, and a bottle of black for the other one. The salesman in PC World assured me it was easy? well it was the first time, apart from the mess! then the second time I just flooded the printer, and I had to buy new cartridges. My second printer a Lexmark, had the same thing happen and I eventually scrapped it! Now I have a HP PSE 1317 inkjet 3 in 1, and I love it, but the ink cartridges...

...I have always been a big fan of Tattoo art work, and I often caught an odd episode here and there of Miami Ink on Discovery Real Time and quite enjoyed the show. Having only seen about 7 episodes of the TV show which were all from either season two or three, I decided to browse the internet to see if I could pick up a cheap season 1 box set on DVD, I was quite expecting to pay about £30-40 for the box set because there are 20 episodes in total for series one of Miami Ink. I was browsing the internet for the box set looking for the cheapest price available and found that Play.com was the cheapest by far. I only paid £12.99 for the box set which is almost three times cheaper than some other online retailers selling the Miami Ink box set as they were all priced well above £30. Olympus FE-190- trustworthy but better money to be spent

Advantages: easy to use, durable, good quality photos
Disadvantages: expensive for the mega-pixel provided.

...I received the olympus FE-190 2 years back for christmas. At the time it was a very good digital camera, with a 6.3 mega pixel and the fetures to change the tones, with different settings, like portrait, lanscape and night mode. It also has the ability to film short movies. However at this time, and looking at the price the olympus FE-190 is selling for, i would not recommend it. Yes olympus is a very well known and loyal brand, but the FE-190 is only a 6.3 megapixel, and when the flash is needed, the battery has only roughly around 4 hours photographing time. Normally when there is natural lighting, the FE-190 takes crisp and lovely pictures, makes them more vibrant and seemingly full of life, which is ideal for family photos and to make memorable pictures. ...I recently bought some ink cartridges from 999 Inks having discovered them on Topcashback! (I seem to do all my online shopping through Topcashback). They offered between 10-18% cashback so I thought why not! I found the ink cartrdiges I needed for my empty printer the Epson Photo R220. I had heard alot about buying inks for good prices but this was really good I thought. I found a fullset of my ink cartridges (not Epson) for £13.95 and even included free postage and packaging! Plus I will be getting my 10-18% cashback! I thought... bargain! So went again and bought them even with the postal strike going on. I ordered the inks on the 24th October and received them on the 28th October. Even with the weekend between and the postal strike I received them in 4 days and only 3 working business days. I was rather pleased to say the least...

MP4 which is POOR

...This review is for the Vega 4 GB MP4 player. Setup The setup for this device can be complicated. You are given the device in a box but you have to install the disc. The disc is quite tiny and it took me several attempts to actually get the disc to load up in the first place. Once the disc is loaded up you are then given this small application which you need to use to transfer your files over with. The problem is the application tends to lock up on you half way through the process of you actually sending the files over. The best route for you to get the files transferred over is by opening up the driver folder which you will find when you plug the device into the computer and copy and paste the files over this way. It does take a lot longer and can be frustrating but it is the only way for the files to be sent over...
