very good
Review of Rio 500 64 MB by
NickVE
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: little bit expencive
...The Rio 500 made by diamond is probably the best mp3 player out there.
It does not have as many features as some Mp3 players but it has “play”, “stop” and ”skip track” and that alone is enough for me. It uses a USB port which makes for very fast transfers of mp3s but if your computer does not have one don’t get this mp3 player. It has 64 Mb of memory built in and an extra 34 on a flash card. This is almost an hour of 128 bitrate music or 40 minutes of 256 music.
In all its light, can store quite a lot of Mp3s and transfer mp3s a whole lot faster that a serial port one and also it looks really cool.
If you buy one buy this (if you don’t have a usb port get one then buy this)
The biggest problem is they cost £210 in England but if you import from America you can probably get it cheaper.

No need for a crap title
Review of Freecom Technologies Mini CD / MP3 player by
benjitheconquerer
Advantages: It can read mp3's digitally recorded.
Disadvantages: it sucks up battery power like a bitch
...The beatman is designed to play mini cd's which are just a smaller version of a cd, they have a 185MB of capacityand roughly i think it works out to be about 210 minutes worth of music. Because they are just smaller versions of cd's they are cheaper than mini disks and they are sold in most computer shops.
The actual shape is aesthetically interesting with a transparent blue cover with a simple interface which has the basic stop, play fast forward and rewind. On top of this there are funciotns such as repeat, program, intro and eq.
The player has a useful 40 seconds of anti shock adn the player also comes with a free adapter which means you can plug it into the back of your stereo without having to waste money on batteries. THe main down point of the beatman is the actual amount of battery power it consumes i a short time so i...

My Constant Camera Companion
Review of Sony Mavica MVC CD500 by
allensinfo
Advantages: great picture quality, convenient cdr image storage. easy to use, good battery life
Disadvantages: this is a somewhat bulky camera
...I bought my Mavica CD500 about a year and a half ago. Since then I have taken well over 2000 pictures with it. The pictures almost always turn out very well. It is espescially good for close up pictures. For example, it is a delight to take a picture of a flower at the max resolution (5mp) and then look at it in great detail on my computer screen. I am not a photo expert, but have been able to take pictures good enough to enter in art shows with this camera. I really like not having to connect by cable to my pc to upload the pics. Rather, I just take out the cdr mini disk and pop it in my notebook's cd drive. I copy some of the pics onto my hard drive, and save every pic on the cdr disks. Current cdr mini cdrs hold 210mb or about 75 full size pictures, and cost less than a dollar so they are great deals. The camera has many advanced...

Basic Multifunction Printer - Impossibly Low Price
Review of Canon PIXMA MP210 by
tech-review
Advantages: Very low price, carries out all basic tasks well, photo-print quality is excellent
Disadvantages: Basic feature set, low-quality scanner, ridiculously high-priced cartridges
...I bought this printer to replace the PIXMA ip1600 which I had before, prompted by the £20 cashback offer Canon was running at the time. This allowed me to purchase a multifunction machine for cheaper than replacing the cartridges on the ip1600! Unfortunately the cashback offer has now expired, but this machine is still available at an incredibly low price for the features.
Out of the box, the MP210 is averagely sized for a multifunction machine, coming in at round about 45cm x 35cm x 17cm (not counting the headspace it needs for the scanner lid to open).
The buttons on the front panel are somewhat lacking in description, meaning that you will almost certainly have to delve into the instruction manual to find out what they do. Essentially, there are buttons for colour and B&W copy, 'Stop', 'Scan', 'Settings', 'Fit to Page', 'Paper...

A Beatman can fly but not jog.
Review of Freecom Technologies Mini CD / MP3 player by
dekom
Advantages: This allows you to carry along up to 4 hours worth of MP3 music.
Disadvantages: The buffering is not perfect.
...The Beatman is quite an achievement in that it allows you to transport up to 4 hours of music on 1 CD. To do this all I needed to do was write my MP3s onto a 210 MB Mini CD-R (these are 8 cm CDs which Freecom also manufacture). With my first attempt I fitted 34 tracks totalling about 3 hours of music. I was a bit disappointed because the CDs claim "up to" 4 hours.
I first tried out the Beatman on a coach trip and I really appreciated it. At last I could listen to my choice of tracks virtually non-stop without having to reach into my bag to change CDs.
However I got to be a bit disappointed when I decided to take my Beatman out with me around town. Although it looks pretty small, it was a tight fit into my jean pockets (and they are large!). The main problem however was that I had to walk lightfooted to avoid jarring it too much...

Pix with this Finepix are Fine!
Review of Fujifilm FinePix A210 by
andersonfamily
Advantages: Great Value; 3.2MP; Optical and Digital Zoom
Disadvantages: Large and uses XD memory cards.
...###Introduction###
Earlier this year, I fancied a digital camera. I wasn't any photographer, but I decided I'd like a few snaps of places I'd been to.
So, after a few hours of hard research(aka. looking through the Argos catalogue and browsing Ciao!), I came across the Fujifilm Finepix A210.
###Why the A210?###
I heard that on digital cameras you want at least 3million pixels(MP) quality, and an optical zoom.
This camera came with 3.2 million pixels, and a 3X optical zoom+3X digital zoom.
It came with a nice few extras, a wriststrap(still don't know how it fastens onto the camera) and a 16MB card. Oh, and of course it can take short, silent movies.
And of course, it a decent size LCD screen, to view your images on!
And, Argos were having a special offer at the time, £50 off, and a free 64MB XD Picture Card. argos don't stock...
