Kamera 800i

Advantages: great functions, solid phone

...When this phone first came out it was selling for around £300, now you can snatch one for about £80, a must buy if this is what your looking to spend. It has a 3.2 megapixle camera, with ahndy shutter which turns the camera function on as soon as its opened, which saves a lot of time for that spur of the moment shot, and it will be taken in great quality, with coluor reporduced very accurately. The phone also has handy software to render photos after being taken as well as bestpic (tm), which takes 10 photos within a second and you can pick which of the 10 you like best perfect for photographing moving object as one of the 10 will have the object centered. Other the its camera fuction, it has a media player which will play mp3 files, it has organiser functions such as a scedual planner, WAP, e-mail capability, Bluetooth, video...

K800i Silver

Advantages: Style, Camera, Multimedia, ease of use, hands free
Disadvantages: Lens cover opening, not quite perfect OS

...We've all seen, used or at least heard about the Sony Ericsson (SE from now on) K range which hit the big time with the K700i and has continued to better it's self every time since. The K700i was simple but very effective candy bar phone with a reasonable camera (up with the best of it's time) a large in built memory system and mp3 and radio useage. But had the poor quality screen as a downfall. The K750 took it a stage further with with better quality camera and screen resolution, but had the knack of having a dodgy stick, and their was no lens cover. The K800i though blows all the previous models out of the water. The phone now well known for the advertising campaign running strongly on the fact of the 3.2 MP camera, rather than the other great feature the phone has. Kewl 800i

Advantages: Good Camera, easy to use menu
Disadvantages: Easily scrarched screen, poor battery!

...I have recently aquired myself the new sony ericsson k800i on a deal with vodafone. I've had the phone about 3 weeks now and am mostly happy with it! The menu is simple and easy to use with icons that display well what they mean! The toggle button works well enabling moving around the menu easy and slick! I haven't personally used the mp3 function much though when i have it has worked well with good sound quality all the time. The camera is excellent with a 3.2 megapixel cybershot and fantastic flash that enables good photographs to be taken even at night or in dark rooms! The video function isn't great it works in well lit areas but struggles in low light as most video phones do! The only real problem that i have had with the phone is that while texing i reguarly press the take photo button on the right hand side of he phone...

THE SUPERB K800i

Advantages: Easy to use, looks smart, plenty of features

...as you want as you would with an ordinary camcorder. The more free memory on your phone the longer you can make your film. There are also the usual camera effects such as sepia, black and white, solarize, etc. You can choose to take pictures in either portrait or landscape and alter the size of the pictures. My favourite feature on the camera is the frames that you can add around your photo. I have taken quite a few photos, some during the day when it is bright, some in the evening when it is duller and even some in the dark and every single one has been perfect. MP4 which is POOR

Advantages: The sound is pretty good
Disadvantages: The device is poor in every other area

...This review is for the Vega 4 GB MP4 player. Setup The setup for this device can be complicated. You are given the device in a box but you have to install the disc. The disc is quite tiny and it took me several attempts to actually get the disc to load up in the first place. Once the disc is loaded up you are then given this small application which you need to use to transfer your files over with. The problem is the application tends to lock up on you half way through the process of you actually sending the files over. The best route for you to get the files transferred over is by opening up the driver folder which you will find when you plug the device into the computer and copy and paste the files over this way. It does take a lot longer and can be frustrating but it is the only way for the files to be sent over...
