Sony Walkman NWZ-B133B 1GB mp3 player Review.

Advantages: Solid buttons, small and good looking, quick USB charge, recording feature.
Disadvantages: Easy to damage front glass, USB charge makes it hard to use without access to PC.

...Today I'm going to write you about my experience with Sony Walkman NWZ-B133B (1GB) mp3 player. First the look, it?s black with matt silver colour on the sides. The LCD screen makes the information look nice and easy to read. On front you can find 4 buttons, the famous Sony home button, play/pause, next track, previous track, on the sides you can find outstanding good quality hold switch, volume, bass and record button. There are no problems with these buttons, they are solid and long lasting. On front of mp3 there is some kind of glass or plastic that makes it looks good, and shiny, but in the same moment it's not solid and it breaks close to the edges, but taking good care of it will help to prevent that damage. Sony Walkman NW-E003 MP3! THE FIRST REVIEW

Advantages: Compact, Easy to use, Sounds Great, Quick Charge
Disadvantages: Low Functionality, Very small

...haven't got a clue how to use these things and want a player that has been designed for one thing and one thing only then this is the one for you. The unit is available in 512mbs or 1gb. For me this was adequate as I regularly update my tunes. This is by far enough memory to fit many of your favourite albums and play lists on. My ipod was a massive 40gb which was a complete waste of money as I have no where near that amount of music to put on. The unit charges via the USB port in the computer. Basically you plug it in and it charges up as easy as that. This is also excellent as when transferring your music to and from the player it charges. Advantages: Excellent MP3 and radio facility, expandable memory, games work well.

...the accompanying manual. For the most part anything above basic operation I had to discover myself. The sound quality of this unit is very good, even with the headphones that come with it. With a small tweak of the equalizer I've always been able to attain a good sound. My only criticism would be the volume level; on older, quieter tracks, when walking next to a busy road the unit just doesn't go loud enough. The unit I have is the 1gb version. How much music you get on here depends on the format and bitrate quality of your tracks. The unit will play MP3's as well as Sony's ALTRAC format. At bitrates varying from 192-320kbps MP3 I've been able to get about 20 albums worth on here. Sony reckon that if you use their ALTRAC format at 64kbps you can get up to 45 albums on here. I haven't used their format so I can't comment on the sound quality here...

A simple & stylish MP3 player from Sony

...Bought the 512mb model for £39.99 from Argos as I wanted a small & simple MP3 player & Sony's products are usually pretty good. It looks like a memory stick & is about the same size & weight. This basic model will hold approx 15 albums worth of music & comes with a basic ear piece, CD to load on Sony software & a pile of instruction manuals in different langauges(?!) There is no charging lead so charging is carried out by plugging the unit into a computer with the USB connector loctaed under the removable cap. A power monkey can also be used if you have one. Battery life is decent & although short of features this little MP3 player plays good quailty sound with four simple controls plus a 'lock' feature. The front display is tiny & if you have poor eyesight you may find it hard to read. The sofware that Sony supply makes transferring...

...As soon as I seen this little MP3 player I wanted it. When I got it I was not let down a bit. Its nice bean shape and design means it fits perfectly in your hand. Would be especially good for jogging. Although a neck strap can be fitted (not included) if preferred. Took a while to figure out as instruction booklet wasn't really that clear. Kept playing first song or every album which was beginning to frustrate me but I figured out that once you press play on that album you have to hit the menu key once more to display the song names. It then plays them all. You also have to option of repeating one album, one song or shuffle. Displays the time and date also. Charges in USB port of your PC so theres no need to fiddle with batteries. Also a 3 minute charge gives you 3hrs playback! It states it holds up to over 600 songs...

Very useful for transferring files from computer to computer and for listening to your favourite tracks on the move.
