Soft, Dewy skin ALL day

Advantages: A lovely well absorbed day cream
Disadvantages: Pricey, but an essential for Clarins buffs!

...Clarins- Multi-Active Jour, Multi Active Day Cream. I bought this on special offer in Debenhams for £15 for 20ml tube. I thought I would treat myself to a different day cream than my usual Elemis one. My mum recommended the Clarins. The Packaging is fairly distinctive, a white tall box with red writing on. This is trade mark Clarins. The product labelling on the box ias predominantly in French, with translations in German and English. This particular cream has "protection plus" and is suitable for all skin types. There is a cream for dry skin too. I am a little wary of expensive skin products as I have used cheaper alternatives which are nice, but htis is definitely a cut above my other creams. On the box it claims be bio/hydro thermal/Tensio and Photo regulating. This is basically a regulating cream for the changes...

A cream for all seasons

Advantages: Moisturises, nice texture

...I have been using Clarins Multi Active Day Cream for the past 4 years & find that it is a great day cream for all year round. The cream comes in a white & red jar which is typical of the Clarins 'design'. The picture above shows the 'old style' jar which has now been replaced by one a slightly different shape. I use the one for 'all skin types', but it is also available for Dry Skin. A 30ml jar lasts me approx 4 months. The only thing wrong with the design of the jar is the fact that you have to stick your fingers in the jar to get the product out. If you have long nails the cream goes under them & you end up having to get the nail brush out! It would be better if it came in a 'pump action' design like their Engergising Morning Cream. Advantages: Lasts ages, refreshing, easy to apply, no need for cotton wool, great for the skin

...Dermalogica Mulit Active Toner can be used on any skin type. It comes in a useful pump action type bottle which you can spritz on. It is light, refreshing and hydrates your skin and smooths the surface. It has a pleasant smell and contains lavender, mint and arnica to help condition the skin and prepare it for more moisture absorption. It conatins no artificial fragrance or colour. After cleansing you can spritz this spray all over your face and neck. You need to keep your eyes closed for this. Dermalogica then suggest that you follow this imediately with their moisturiser. There is another cream for all skin types and you need to make sure you get the right one because the pots look the same. ...Boots day cream I was loitering round the Boots no 7 counter a few weeks ago, and, having bought some of the products, the assistant gave me some samples of the day and night cream. I did like them, so bought the full tubs! THE PROMISE Great stuff!! This cream is going to work 24 hours a day? this does then beg the question as to why I should use the night cream, but I won't ask that one. It has Vitamin B5 and ceramide complex (again they don't tell me what this is), which will leave my skin looking healthy and radiant. The good news, and the thing I understand is that it is SPF 15 and hypo allergenic, so I can go out in all of this glorious winter sunshine and let the rays do their worst. ...I really like Clarins products and I've had some nice lotions and potions from them over the years. I was given a tester of this night moisturising cream from the nice lady over the counter as they are quite pricey and I like to know it's going to suit my skin before I shell out the £39.00 they were asking! The bottle is a lovely dark blue and white design, modern and easily distinguished from the day cream. It's packaged as prevention plus Multi-Active Night Cream Youthful Vitality (which sounds great). After cleansing my skin as per the instructions I opened the bottle to a really strong hit of masculine smelling scent. Advantages: Smells nice, good texture, nice glow to skin & feels soft & silky

...Only been using this product for 2 days & perhaps I'm using too much but my make up is terrible after using this! Lovely Chanel make up that normally looks great but this is just too rich and my cosmetics literally peel away so my face & hair is covered in bits. It doesn't seem to matter how long I leave it to soak in. It smells ok & the texture is nice but more suited to a night cream - I'm now wishing I'd gone for the gel lotion with SPF as this seems like not much use to me as a day cream without SPF & if I can't wear make up afterwards. Early days for me testing out Clarins products but the oil gel wash and the one step cleanser with orange are great - also just received the brightening lotion for day with SPF 20 so will persevere with the moisturisers. ...I adore Activia yoghurts, especially the ones with the fruit puree layers at the bottom. Unfortunately, unless they are on offer, the yoghurts also have a price tag to match their expensive experience so needless to say I do not buy them very often. However when browsing the yoghurts at Tesco recently, I came across an option that seemed like a good substitute. The Tesco Active Balance is apparently a healthy option Tesco has to offer (compared to their thick and creamy choices packed with calories and fat). At first glance I could see that they looked similar to the layered Activia yoghurts ? the pots here are clear and you can see in that there is what looks to be a fruity layer underneath the yoghurt part. Also, the word 'layered' on the cardboard sleeve kind of gives it away too! There is also a picture of two luscious strawberries...
