Vitamins and half the price

Advantages: cheap price, easy to swallow, provide all your vitamins and iron
Disadvantages: not a nice taste if you don't swallow quick enough!

...I've always been keen to top up my diet with a multi vitamin tablet, for my general health and well being. However, I'd found that this could actually be quite an expensive habit to maintain. That's when I came across Tesco Multivitamins. I found a jar of 240 tablets (multivitamins and iron) for a little over £2. For the brand that I had been previously using, a jar of this size would cost well over £5, so, inticed by the potential saving, I gave these a go. The tablets are one-a-day, therefore (fairly obviously!) a jar of this size could last me around 8 months, which is great value. The tablets are fairly small and disc-shaped, and a deep red in colour. They are easy to swallow with a drink, but I would recommend you swallow quickly as they don't taste great! Vitamins or a bowl of fruit?

Advantages: Easy to use, childproof bottle
Disadvantages: Pointless if you eat well

The tablets also come with a tamper proof lid, and even I had difficulty getting it off at 1st so I would say it is definately going to keep the kids out as they are not suitable for children under the age of 12. They are also suitable for vegetarians. I have been taking the tablets for a few weeks now and I am slightly disappointed. The iron is definately there in the tablets as it is doing a great job at clogging me up but that's all it seems to be doing. Although my skin has improved slightly while since I started taking these vitamins, my hair still comes out easily when I wash or brush it. I already eat a well balanced diet so I wasn't expecting miracles...
