...The crunching munching caterpillar by Sheridan Cain and Jack Tickle published by little tiger press. While looking in the charity shop I came across this book and bought it for Adrian’s library it cost me 20p would have cost £4.99 new. I looked on line it is £8.99 now This book measures about 26cm by 23cm. The cover caught my eye it is a beautiful leaf green with the title written across it. Underneath the title is a yellow caterpillars face with a big happy cheerful smile. His body disappears into darker green leaves at the bottom of the book cover. The first page as we open the book is just pictures of green leaves with little holes eaten into them. The title page is next the same green leaves on a sky blue background with a yellow and green caterpillar with red spots crunching and munching through the leaves...

...During yesterdays shopping trip my eldest son saw something he fancied trying... Vanilla Monster Munch, seeing as they were only 27p (in Sainsbury) I let him pop the bag into the trolley. There was a big Multipack with beef as well as vanilla, but we thought it would be best to try just one before commiting ourselves to the big bag. When we got home and all the shopping was away, Steven eagerly opened the bag... after seeing that the sell by date was the day before his birthday. A monster of a munch

Advantages: Nice taste

...Walkers pickled onion monster munch are amongst those crisps that seem to have been around forever. They have undergone several changes over the years, the packets changed, the taste has gone sweeter, the crisps are smaller, they cost more and I wouldn't mind betting that half of the ingredients have changed to make them cheaper to manufacture as well. Despite all of this they remain a firm favorite and will probably still be bought for generations to come. These arent actually crisps. They are a kind of reconstituted crisp with lots of air in like quavers and wotsits etc, the packet call them 'baked corn snacks'. This makes them easier to eat, given enough time they will dissolve in your mouth. They are also a lot safer!!! What I mean is that there are no sharp edges that could dig into your gums or mouth, this reduces the amount...

Munch Bunch - my son doesn't munch these anymore

Advantages: Good size pot, good price, added calcium
Disadvantages: Not tasty at all

...When my son moved onto eating solid foods, I knew he would love yoghurts. However, the bigger he got, the tiny pots of fromage frais were not enough to satisfy his appetite, which is when I moved him up the Munch Bunch yoghurts. These pots are 100g, so slightly bigger than fromage grais. However, Nestle have recently changed their Munch Bunch yogurts, which is why I am doing my review. I will give both a before the change and after it opinion. The changes that they have made is that they have introduced more probiotics into the yogurts, and also something called Calci+ which is extra calcium for strong teeth and bones. Packaging: These come in plastic pots which hold 100g of yogurt, with a peelable foil lid. I have always found them easy to open, and the pots are recyclable. However, I have found my son does not enjoy the taste...

...Hey again folks been a little while since I last went off on one so here I am again. I must admit everytime im on here im either always scoffing my cakehole or wiping away the cob webs with a few bevvies. And just now i've just experienced beef flavoured monster munch for the first time. I've been eating like a horse today but it's becuase im missing my honey bun so eating helps take my mind of it yummy!!Just keep that grub coming and im a happy chappy with grubby mits and messy chops making it look like ive been rolling around in dogs poop! I could now be clever and go into a bit of history but if you think your getting that from me your very much mistaken chuck. Beef flavoured monster munch?? what ever next fire maybe .Um nah but a good idea as your have to explore the old taste buds now and again . Get them juices flowing...

...Today I felt like a packet of crisps and because the Shell petrol station didn’t have Nik Naks I had to buy this. This bag of Pickled Onion flavoured corn snack costs 43p at this particular station. It can also be found in other newsagents for 30p or sometimes more. I am sure that the prices of crisps will still keep rising as it already has due to inflation and taxes (hope I’m using the correct jargon!) As you know too many fried things e.g. crisps can spark off a sore throat, and this snack can definitely does this. Also if you have a mouth ulcer, this can be painful! Ouch! Also too many fried food can lead to spots (well that’s my case, but I don’t know about you!) MUNCH, MUNCH, MUNCH . . . . .

Advantages: Nice for a snack, with a cup of tea.
Disadvantages: Expensive for what you get.

...Being at college I don?t always get the chance to have a hot lunch, so I tend to buy things to eat on the go. Today?s lunch consisted of a take-away cup of soup and a packet of these ?Munch Bites? to eat with my now cold tea. *THE PACKAGING* As you can see from the picture the packet is a brown colour with the usual blue and white ?McVities? logo in the top corner. The lettering of the ?Munch Bites? is white also with one of the little biscuits on top to show you what you?re getting, a small round biscuit covered in chocolate with a bite taken out of it. The reverse side of the packet with all the jargon on is silver (which makes it hard to read) with brown writing. I would say the packet is about 4 inches in length and 2 inches in width, about the size of a normal packet of m&m?s. Opening the packet was no trouble at all...

...have had - I do not know if they are available individually and how much an individual pack costs. In the multipack, which is coloured dark purple, there are 3x Roast beef, 4x Pickled onion and 3x Flamin' Hot. The cost of the multipack is £1.69 which is very cheap and definitely something I would get when I do the shopping next week. So the packaging of the Flamin' Hot - very good! The foil wrapping is very efficient and very strong. It keeps the crisps very fresh and most certainly provides an air-tight unit. The packet has the Walkers symbol in the top left corner and it is pretty large. You definitely can not miss this logo! Under the logo are the words "Monster Munch". I think these stand out a lot because the "Monster" is written in big green writing and the "Munch" is in very subtle red writing. There is also a red monster behind...

Walkers monster munch - yummiest crisps ever!

Advantages: Tasty, light, full of flavour

...Walkers Monster Munch has to be my favourite crisps of all time! Because of how intensively flavoured they are, and still how light it feels to eat, it makes this a delightful snack for any time of the day. I love crisps with so much depth and tanginess in its taste and I really love to indulge in these whenever I feel I deserve a little treat. For some weird reason, my friends reckon they're horrible and smelly but I think they're absolutely wonderful; they are smelly though, I have to agree with that. It's not a good idea to eat these outside your house as you might be in a situation where you find you smell like these crisps and I don't think you'd want that! ...We first came across The Crunching Munching Caterpillar in the library a few months ago and immediately Jacob was drawn to the big yellow caterpillar?s face smiling back at him from the cover of the book. It became such a firm favourite that when the 3 weeks borrowing time was up, Jacob couldn?t bear to part with the book and we had to renew it for a further 3 weeks. Of course, it wasn?t long before we decided to buy our own copy of the book and we used his World Book Day token to get £1 off the cover price of £4.99 at Tesco.
