Probably the best and also worst hostel in Munich

Advantages: No kerfew, breakfasts, cheap bar, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Its not very clean

...Before you decide to book this hostel you should ask yourself one question, "Do I need to be in a clean environment to have a good time?" If the answer to this is yes, then I would urge you not to stay here. However, if you can bring yourself to enjoy the amazing buffet breakfast, downstairs bar serving their own beer in typical stein measures and can just being grateful you have a bed to sleep on, inspite of the general mess of the rooms/toilet/showers, then you wont find a better place. Firstly this hostel is massive, and you only really get a feel for how many people are staying here with you when it comes to breakfast. No matter what time you decide to rise and shine, the breakfast room is full to bursting (mainly with Australians it often seems) it must hold about 50 people and is open for 3 hours so that should give you...

...Well this is one freaky and scary movie. Its rather you have to fight to survive through the movie than to watch it. This movie is completely about brutality. Horror at the Hostel

Advantages: Gore fans will love this, there are disgusting displays of death galore.
Disadvantages: The film lacks substance, relies heavily on shock value and little else is offered.

Munich - A Beautiful Bavarian

Advantages: Beautiful City, Great Food, Wonderful Museums, Close to Alps
Disadvantages: Too Many Tourists In The Summer

Advantages: Some nice cinematography, decent acting during tense moments

...So it now appears that Eli Roth is so lauded in cinema that he can present his films with his name before them. Such is the case with Eli Roth's Hostel. Well in case you didn't know, Roth's previous effort was the over hyped Cabin Fever. If you've seen that film than I hope you'd agree it wasn't the saviour of horror that certain websites proclaimed. Either way it doesn't give him the kudos to throw his name before a film like a bigshot. The Munich massacre - its aftermath, as noted by Spielberg

Advantages: Incredibly powerful drama in places
Disadvantages: Takes too long to get anywhere

...Munich is a poignant and dramatic, slow-moving Spielberg film that has at its core the effects and fallout from the 1972 Munich Olympic Games massacre. Members of the Israeli Olympic team were taken hostage and eventually killed by a group known as Black September, reported to have ties to a militant group linked to the Fatah organisation. The film opens with some graphic scenes showing the massacre within the first five or ten minutes, before Spielberg introduces us to the squad of assassins who then plan to hunt down 11 Black September members and kill them as revenge. Booking was quick and easy. The location close to Kings Cross is great. Within Zone 1/2 on the underground it is easily reachable. At King's Cross you can get the following tubes: Northern Line (Black), Metropolitan Line (Dark Red), Circle Line (Yellow) and Hammersmith and City Line (Pink). From the tube station to the hostel it's a 5min walk. WE found the hostel easy to find and the location quite central. The quick connection between King's Cross and Camden town was a huge plus point.
