...I have owned & heard many quality cd players throughout the years. Some good, some exceptional & some disappointing. Many players seem to focus on getting all the hifi criteria right, obsessed with the deepest bass,the widest soundstage, unearthing the last detail etc and to be honest it can all get a bit frustrating. Yes, all these things are great in a quick listen or impressing your friends for a few moments but there is more to it than that. I want something more from the music collection I have spent years putting together. I want something that sounds musical...something that does not favour any particular music, and is not downright impossible to match into a system. My first impression of the A5.5 was my lasting one. This sounds natural. This sounds like music and not hifi. My first few hours were spent not making apologies...

...I decided to treat myself to a brand new pay as you go mobile phone and I knew what I wanted and I knew that it was going to be on the orange network. The phone I am talking about is LG Viewty. The search began for the best possible price. I decided against getting the phone from Ebay as I wanted a brand new one which was boxed and never been open before. So why this model I chose this model purely because another family member has it and is always saying how good the phone is. ...I got this phone yesterday morning and I decided to wait a bit before writing a review. I've been attached to this phone for the past 36 hours and I've sussed most things out. I got this phone after reading reviews on here and other mobile sites. The choice was between an LG Cookie and this phone, however, I wanted a phone that had similar features to my old Samsung G600 and I decided to go for this one! I bought it from Tesco on the Vodafone network as it was on offer for £97.86 (once you'd spent £30 in store). I got home and opened the box and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. All I got was the manual, Vodafone booklet, phone, battery, charger & USB cable. I thought they could have provided headphones and a stylus (it's a good thing I can manage fine without the stylus however I would like some headphones!!) I shortly...

LG Viewty

Advantages: Can do almost anything on this handset
Disadvantages: Clumsy, hard to see in sunlight, annoying touch screen

...The LG Viewty is different to your average mobile. Better or worse I'm not sure yet and I've had a device for around a month now. Unfortunately my LG did not come with a stylus so I cannot comment on that, however the touch screen responds to fingernail taps, albeit not always very well. Horrendous to use whilst on the move and impossible to see in the sun. Vibrate function does not always work, nor does the message alert so texts can go unread for a while. Very poor signal in most areas which apparently is the fault of the handset and not the network. Good internet access, good memory, camera is of a worse quality than a 3.2 mega pixel I had previously. Not ideal for the fast texter and when ringing an automated number (e.g. Press 1 for Customer Service) the keypad disappears so the phone has to be unlocked and a menu...

...First of all I a saw the LG Viewty in my local orange shop 2day at 139.99 which i thought was an absolute still. I brought mine 2 months ago from Vodaphone for 200 pound which at the time I thought was good. To see my phone has lost 80 pound in value over 2 months was quite upsetting but technology loses value quickly these days. The 5 mp camera is a fantastic feature on this phone along with the stunning touch screen. The camera has a number of options to play around with and you can change the mega pixel to suit your style of picture. it also has a number of effects that a great fun too. The touch screen is also a cool feature and defiantly the main feature of this phone. ...The LG Viewty - Looks like an iphone but think again! Unlike its prettier counterpart the Viewty is primarily a multi-functional phone with decent video/ camera and high speed internet (HSDPA) capabilities. One up for the underdog then. Having owned one for a while now here is an honest rundown - its not all good I'm afraid. The pro's: Desirable design - Well made, quality use of materials. Nice touch screen, the qwerty keyboard arrangement is great for texting. The camera is good (5mp) and the video has a slo-mo feature that is unique as far as I'm aware. You can also upload straight to You-tube although like many I suspect? never did! The Viewty comes with 2Gb with capacity for 4 max. ..., budget of no more than £400, HD ready, and a good reputation. Above all, it needed a good picture quality. Wandering round the usual places we saw a few sets that met this criteria but we were not necessarily bowled over by them. Then we walked into our local Comet and, amongst the others, we saw the LG 32LH3000 on offer for £399.99. We had a good look at it in the shop and it met/exceeded all our criteria, plus one more we hadn't thought of... it looked pretty good, too! The salesman also told us that it hadn't long been on the market and that it should be £550, not £400! He said it was a steal at this price. His words were duly taken with a large pinch of salt, and we headed home to check it out properly. The few reviews we found online said the same thing... it was extremely good, so much so that one reviewer put it up against his friend...
