...Mustek 600 CPs scanners are a very good buy. I bought mine for less than £30 and it was worth every penny. The scan quality is excellent and it is fast and easy to use. It scans photos and postcards very, very well but it tends to struggle with magazines and newspapers which reflects the quality of these publications. It takes typically two to three minutes to scan a photograph in 600 dpi. This quality setting gives crystal clear scans at the same size as the source but when a bigger bitmap is required it may need a higher quality setting which can cause crashes. You would be well advised to simply download the drivers from Mustek.com rather than use the software CD, as the scans work better and you can choose to use only Paint Shop Pro or similar for your image editing. Review of Mustek 600 CP

It was not a Mustek to buy it

Advantages: Cheap and reliable, good photo quality.
Disadvantages: Limited Photo editing software.

...The Mustek 600 cp is the only scanner I have owned, not that it is the only scanner I have tried. I have tried many, but I keep sticking with my 600 cp. The main reason is Quality of picture, especially for the web, setting the resolution to 700 rather than the default 300. The scanning software interacts well with all other programs, even Macromedia, but I tend not to use the editing package that comes with it, as it is a little limited but that is the market it is amid at. It also does not mind sharing a printer card with your local printer this makes for ease of instalment. Over all it is a good little scanner and a bargain at the price....

Advantages: Very slim and stylish

...The Samsung U600 is the slimmest slide phone, even slimmer than the trendy D900 which is now replaced by u600. I bought mine for 85 pounds which is a dark blue colour. It has an amazing 3.2 mega pixel camera if you look how thin the phone is, with flash and 4x digital zoom. If you take a picture of a business card it recognizes all the field and enter them automatically, this is a new feature. It also records videos in mp4 format and the maximum video size is 352 x 240 which is good. It has a 2.2 inch TFT 262k colour screen which has great graphics because I downloaded 'Horton hears a who', converted it into MP4 format and saved it on my phone to see if it works and it worked. ...Ciao have got the best price for this neat little device spot on. I ordered mine from Directfrom.com for £86.88 on 28/11/04 as a Christmas present for my 13 year old daughter. The order was confirmed by email immediately with a 1 ? 3 day delivery time. ...I got this phone about 11 months ago on an upgrade with T Mobile. I had no idea what phone I wanted but when I explained the functions that I needed, the Samsung U600 was suggested to me. It is a nice looking phone, grey, small and thin, you can carry it in your pocket without it being too bulky. It is a slide phone with a large screen. The number buttons are under the screen and are displayed when you slide the phone down. The menu and call and hang up buttons are touch screen. ...I recently decided to change from a pay as you talk to a contract pay as you go tariff. Looking at the phones available, i saw the G600 and was impressed by the look of the phone, so i risked it knowing not a lot about it and the risk paid off. Physically, the phone is very classy and sleek. It is a very smart phone and i have received numerous complimnts about the phone from people at work and in my family. My brother liked it that much that he decided to buy one. The screen is quite big so the menu and other features are easily read, but it doesnt look to big. It isnt bulky or big like i thought it may look. The camera is the most amazing feature about the phone. ...Having only ever owned a Samsung phone throughout the many phones I have owned in my life, I decided to carry on the tradition by buying the Samsung G600. It has served me well and has a number of really good features. One of the best little features I found with this phone was that there are a number of nice backgrounds preloaded onto the phone that can be changed in the settings menu. I currently have the puma background that shows up in the main menu behind all the features on the phone like messages. I also like the espresso theme but I find the puma background the nicest. Between the phones memory and the sim card, 1000 contacts can be stored in your phonebook, and 200 messages in total can be stored in the text message folder. To be honest I really dislike the fact that you can only store 200 messages, as I will never fill up...

U600 freeze!

Advantages: Gorgeous, thin, light weight!
Disadvantages: Freezes during texting, turns off and then eventually is coput!

...I loved my U600 when I first got it. It is a very nice looking phone, it is very thin and strong and although I had a case on it, it hardly looked used. However after a few months it started to freeze whilst I was sending text messages. It would switch itself off and restart itself again and so I eventually couldn't send text messages because the phone would switch off every time I tried. It would allow me to make calls but if, like me, you mostly text then this became terribly problematic for me. I was not the only person I know that had had this problem with their U600, infact everybody I know that had one had said that they were experiencing similar problems, even if not as extreme as mine my friends were still experiencing the minor problems that I started with.
