...a very small device ? what do you expect for this price?? The beauty of the camera is that you can shoot spontaneous video, replay it immediately (with sound) on the reasonable quality LCD screen, then keep it on memory to load onto to your PC, watch it on your TV or delete it immediately. Blimey! What a lot for your dosh. I also spent some time loading MP3 music tracks onto the Mustek DV5000 from my PC (this is just a matter of opening the relevant windows and dragging and dropping). They play via the external speaker (which isn?t very loud) or the headphones (supplied) which is fine. We will continue to play with this amazing little device for some time yet and I will add any new thoughts to this review as and when they occur. Mustek DV3000 Compact Digital Camera.

Advantages: Small, Light andCHEAP!
Disadvantages: Fidily, Bad zoom, Not enough memory.

...The video recording on the DV3000 is nat the best in the world. In natrual light (outside) the camera can see everything you can but inside the colours tend to go into a orange/red blur. It has three diffrent video modes, OK quality, GOOD quality and NIGHT mode. OK quality mode is great for recording things like bike riding and things that don't move very fast. But when you record things that tend to go faster than 15mph then the camera can keep up with it and it goes into a blur or somtimes the lense can't see it because it is going to fast. One good thing about this is that you can record for about 15 minutes at one time. GOOD quality mode is the best mode on the camera as it uses 3.1 mega pixels. Mustek DV 3032-tiny camera, not so tiny price

Advantages: small, lightweight, easy to use, decent resolution

For $77, it is totally worth it. For $98, plus shipping, no. This camera has no flash. That is the point at which I really wished I had never seen this camera. 99% of my photos are taken inside a house or building, and many times it is too dark for 35mm photos to come out properly. Hence the need for a digital camera with flash. But, this camera doesn't have one. A mixed bag when compared with dv4000

Advantages: Price, Features, AA Baterries
Disadvantages: Picture quality is not accurate to what you see on preview screen

...I have owned both the Mustek DV-5000 and it's predecessor the Mustek DV-4000. The main difference in the 2 is that the dv5000 can take AA batteries, so you can make sure you have battery wherever you are, and also the dv5000 has a flash. When i read about the dv5000 coming out i couldn;t wait to try it, I got it about 1 week after release for £109, as it seemed to have all the features the dv4000 was missing. Great Compact Camera

...Before buying the Mustek DV 5000, I'd considered many other options of video camera, namely those that used mini-DV tapes. However, having done some research on the internet, I found that my PC wasn't compatible with that type of camera. Then I came across the Mustek DV 5000. It had a good product description, looked like it had a wide range of features and was a very reasonable price. Best of all, it was compatible with my old laptop (I'm now on a newer one). I can't quite remember where I bought it from, some online electronics retailer, but when I received it what shocked me was how tiny it was! In fact, I thought it looked more like a toy camera than a piece of electronic equipment. HP Pavilion dv5

Advantages: Good quality laptop, great appearance

...A well designed, high quality affordable laptop, the HP pavilion dv5 doesn't fail to please in looks, performance or price. In terms of look and design, flashy is a good word for it. It has a glossy black case which shines in the light, then you open it. The keyboard-surround is split horizontally: the bottom half is very light silver with a white check pattern, and the upper half perforated silver plastic. Around the edge of the laptop, there is a chrome-effect strip which sparkles and shimmers. Even the mouse pad has a finish that is so reflective you can see your face in it. This is the 'bling-bling' of the laptop world. It also feels pretty solid, I don't think you would be able to break it easily and I have faith in it's durability and robustness. It is also quite light, weighing 2.65kg, not bad for a laptop it's size. Ok...
