The Time of My Life.....I certianly did!

...It certainly was a very sad day when I discovered that Patrick Swayze had lost his battle against cancer, the odds were against him, but I thought that, like in the movies, it might have a happy ending. Sadly that wasn't to be. I have to admit I did cry and it was mainly for selfish reasons, I felt a part of my youth had died. Dirty Dancing was a huge hit when I was in my teens the 'nobody puts baby in a corner' line is one that most women my age will always remember. Many a happy time with the girls round, bottle of wine (ok a few bottles) watching Dirty Dancing and Ghost.....ah happy days. The Time of My Life Is a book that once started can't be put down, so please make sure you have some time on your hands before you start reading! ...As with most of my more recent book reviews they seem to start in the aisle?s of my local Asda. This is no exception. Even though I have around 30 books piled up ready for my reading pleasure I still had to purchase another when faced with a £1.00 price tag, this is the book I will now review. ...The ruins is a horror film that was released in 2008, directed by Carter Smith and starring Jonathan Tucker, Shawn Ashmore, Jena Malone, Laura Ramsey and Joe Anderson. The book was originally based on a Novel that was written by Scott Smith. I had the pleasure of watching this film, last week, and I was one of mixed feelings. At times this film was brilliant, a fresh new plot, which didn't have any ghosts, or villains, but at times it was hard to pick up the film, in the sense that there were moments were the film slowed down. A great horror film should be one that has a constant flow to it, one that constantly keeps you on the edge of your seat. Plot: So the film starts of in a dark cold place, the viewers see a woman, who is trapped in a dark dungeon type area, one that looks more like a well, or a cave. She tries to call for help...

'The Time of My Life' written simply, no frills and a great read!

Advantages: Simply written, very believable, humbling and uplifting

...I have been a great fan of Patrick Swayze since the 80s but especially since he starred in Dirty Dancing. I was given this book as a Christmas present and quite simply couldnt put it down until I had finished it. The introduction to the book starts in 2009 when Patrick Swayze was battling with cancer. Some of you might say that its a bit macabre to start a book like this but believe me it is a fitting beginning to a story of struggles, disappointment, joys, highs and lows of two people (Patrick and Lisa) who made it to the very top from very humble beginnings. Until I read this book, my only real vision of Patrick was as an actor, appearing in various films such as The Renegades, North and South, Dirty Dancing and Ghost to name a few. We view actors as always leading the charmed life, with nothing to worry about, pots of money...

Blurbubble Ruined My Life!!!

love my iphone changed my life!

Advantages: fast, fun, easy to use, less use pc, Sat Nav and ipod

...When the iPhone first came out i like everyone else sat looking at the adverts and thought thats so cool! but then as people got them i very quickly realized the adverts did not show how long everything took. then the 3g came out and it was an improvement on the internet side of thing but the application still involved a lot of hanging around. but then i this popped up onto my radar before was even announced. and when it was and they had made th iphone faster and gave it a much longer battery life i thought this is the time that i should bounce onto the band wagon.
