However now they're going bankrupt as they've found that by expanding, they've got too big for their own good by taking over any company they see fit. MYT was our choice to fly to Orlando, Florida last year. It was a lovely July day when we arrived at Manchester Airport, fresh from a stay at the Manchester Holiday Inn. We had chosen the "Gold service", called Premair Gold. We had flown before to Orlando with the company, and economy is too much for a long flight. My new travel toy

Advantages: Small, stylish, excellent price.
Disadvantages: Not for gamers, small touchpad

...I've not had the highest success rate with small laptops. I dropped my 10" Vaio, shattering the screen, it's replacement got stolen and I followed on from these with a 9" Samsung with an external keyboard that eventually just drove me nuts. I'd settled for a larger screened Dell (a massive 13.3" screen) but after 13 months of successful and happy operation the GPU decided that it couldn't handle being so warm for so many hours each day and decided to give up, leaving me with no way to use my otherwise functioning laptop. Swift action was required as I travel a lot and really really need a little laptop (slightly overstating the need I suppose, but I do go quite mad without one). Not MY choice of TRAVEL

Advantages: Good onboard crew
Disadvantages: Very cramped & uncomfortable

I spend considerable time looking for the best bargain and use several websites as standard which I compare daily, as well as looking for new sites to try. I thought I'd got a good deal this year, opting for My Travel flights via the cheapestflights website. It started off badly when it transpired that My Travel had loaded it's arrival times incorrectly onto all the travel agents' websites. Your confirmation read one date and not until the tickets arrvied did it become clear that you were actually coming home the following day. MyTravel Airlines - A+

Advantages: On time, good meals and service
Disadvantages: Had to pay for drinks and headphones.

...I was fortunate enough to fly on MyTravel Airlines from Gatwick to Rhodes in June. I have to say it was among one of the best airline experiences I have had. Check-in was efficient and moved quickly, even though it was a full flight. The flights were on time - both inbound and outbound - and we even arrived at our destination early both ways! I was in Economy Class, and the legroom may not have been extremely generous but was better than other Economy Classes that I've been in such as British Airways. We flew on the Airbus A330 so there were individual television screens in the back of each seat, with a choice of television shows and some very recent films. MyTravel nightmare!

Advantages: Fairly cheap
Disadvantages: Very cramped, poor in-flight entertainment

...For one who has travelled throughout Europe by coach, including a 26 hour journey to former Yugoslavia, I was expecting my four and a half hour flight to Tenerife to be much more comfortable journey. How wrong I was! The tickets were booked by my partner's parents, so although I am not aware of the exact price that was paid for the tickets I know that they were fairly cheap in comparison to other airlines, although still more expensive than budget airline competitors such as EasyJet. However, the journey was certainly not cheerful! The seats were extremely cramped, with even less leg room than on most coaches that I had travelled on. At 20, in 1966, I was lucky enough to get a job with an important company in the United States of America. I moved there for job training and then I started my travel around the world. Today I make around 70 trips per year, mostly outside of Europe, staying away from home 300 days and taking more than 200 flights. This year I have already been twice in the States, four times in China, once in North Korea and in many other places within and outside Europe. ...Just got back from Protaras on an Airtours package holiday, Flights in both direction were with My travel airlines (MYT) which is the in house airline and was formerlly known as Airtours international. I noticed two very different standards of service, On the outbound flight from Manchester to Larnaca the plane was delayed by approximately 1 hour no word of apology off the crew. The crew just didn't seem bothered about the passengers, one stewardess was extremly snotty especially when a passenger whined that they had checked in late and their child hadn't got a window seat although they were sat together, The stewardess asked if anyone was willing to move seats and when no one obliged she said "oh the passengers aren't very generous today", Then came the safety demo which was the video version and like a programme made for the Cbeebies...

I have just booked my 84-year-old mother to come to the UK next June. We always book through Canadian Affair online. The first thing to say is that the fares are incredibly low, as little as £199 or less return in economy. However, we always travel in their "Premiair Gold" cabin, because the economy seats are very cramped. Even then it is exceptionally good value.
