Mystery shopping is all about collecting information on how companies deal with various situations, observing stores, staff and so on. ...I joined a couple of mystery shopping firm about a year ago and I really enjoy it. I love the flexabilty and the fact you can chhose what days and what times you work. I think it is good as it helps me use my brain as tere are a lot of things to take not of , timings, staff appearance. shop appearance, ad you must pay attention to detail. Nearly al the staff i have come in cotact with have been fine I have only have a couple who have not responded in a proffesional manner but you just write what they say and do that is what you are paid for. The money isnt great but it keps me in what i need to buy you wont get rich form but its handy pocket money and sometimes you get to keep what you uy they are only small things which normally cost less than £5 . Its great experience, especially if you want to work within retail or work in retail now as you can pick up a lot of things about customer service, etc. What is a Mystery Shopper? A company pays you to go into a shop and makes enquiries and possibly a purchase (like any normal customer) and you then have to report back, mostly by web form or sometimes by telephone on the quality of the customer service you received.
