...I had been intending to purchase a battery charger for quite a while. In fact I had even dropped hints to certain family members around Christmas time, but to no avail. I was recently reminded of this missing piece of equipment in my life when I rediscovered the PC lead to my digital camera. Remembering that a pair of standard batteries lasted for only about 30 photos in this camera I decided that it was certainly time to invest in a battery charger and some rechargeable batteries. I purchased an Energizer CHDCW8 ? 4 battery charger from Argos for just £9.99. This decision was based on several factors, the most important of which was the price and what I considered to be the best value for money.   MAP READING YOU CAN'T GET WRONG

Advantages: directs you to your destination smoothly, great if you are on your own, no more trying to map read and drive, makes your journey safer
Disadvantages: sometimes gets the speed limit wrong, severe weather can make it slow by interferring with the satallite reception.

I bought this charger last year because I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard so made more sense getting rechargeable batteries rather than spending money on normal batteries every few weeks. I went with Uniross as they make decent rechargeable batteries and are well known for it. This x-press 300 charges AAA, AA & 9V size batteries. A 'smart' charger worth buying

Advantages: Low cost, Car charger inc, fast charge times, battery charge detection
Disadvantages: Cautious on overcharging leaving batteries not 100% full

...I picked up this charger a few days ago for £8 with 4 1000mah AAA batteries which seemed like a great price to me for a 'Smart' charger. In the package I got the charger (quite slim) a standard plug adaptor and a car charger making it ideal to take around with you ensuring you never miss out on a photo perfect moment. The charger has space for 2 or 4 AA or AAA batteries and has quite a rapid charge time. Here are the charge times quoted by Uniross: Charging Times: AA 1300mAh : 120 mins, AA 2500mAh : 255mins, AAA 900mAh : 180 mins It is not the fastest charger around but clearly not the slowest. Good battery charger for it's price

Advantages: Charges quickly, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Doesn't feel too strong... Not much of a problem.

...I bought this so that I wouldnt' have to keep paying for batteries all the time for my camera. Most battery chargers cost a lot more than this one did (I bought this one for about £12, from Amazon), so it was good to get a deal on it. The package includes the charger itself, 4 AA batteries and a car adapter, so you can charge your batteries in the car. The batteries are easy to insert, there are two spring-loaded extensions that spring out. These are so you can charge AAA batteries as well, and they fold away when you're charging AA batteries. I find that charging batteries doesn't take very much time at all, I just leave them in for a short while and after a short while the red light turns green to show that the charge is complete. Excellent GPS package at great price

Advantages: Excellent sat-nav package at low price, well-spec'd handheld computer
Disadvantages: Advertising unclear: hidden costs of full European package

...When I decided too buy this product, I wasn't specifically looking for a handheld computer, I was after a decent (but inexpensive) GPS satellite navigation system; and the Acer n35 is not only the cheapest GPS-equipped handheld, it's actually cheaper than most dedicated sat-nav systems, so the fact that this device functions as a computer with numerous other facilities is a pure bonus! You can easily pay £400 for a dedicated portable sat-nav system like the Tom Tom Go, and similar amounts for sat-nav equipped handhelds, but the Acer can be had for as little as £240 brand new with full guarantee. You see already the main economic advantage, especially when you compare it to the four-figure sums that car manufacturers charge for built-in sat-nav systems.... The Acer n35 is basically the n30 without BlueTooth capability...

I didn't want to pay a lot, so my first choice was a cable GPS. Unfortunately, most I've found needed external power, so they're not useful in the motorbike or for trekking.. The M515 don't have bluetooth (too old), so bluetooth receivers were discarded too. The M515 only have one SD memory slot, so I couldn't have a card-type GPS and memory, so it were discarded, also.
