...It took ages to boot up. By the time it was ready for use it had been at least a 3 minutes. At first i thought "it's broken already?" as it seemed to be stuck on the white nokia logo screen. It did eventually spring into life and a nice welcome screen asking me about tutorials and would i like to watch some video of how to operate then handset. I noticed at this point that the light omitted from the screen was visable through the side of the handset, the screen it self is sandwiched between an upper and lower plate of plastic, the gap between them both was where the light was escaping. This to me looked terrible and further added to my disappointment of the N95, cheap and tacky build quality which for the price of handset is really unacceptable. The screen itself is really nice, it's clear, has plenty of colour range and is nice...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: Excellent services Disadvantages: Large in size
...The beginning:
I bought the nokia N95 when it came newly on the market. It was brought through a contract with o2 after I closed my sim only contract where I payed £25 a month (I think). o2 rang me and asked me if I wanted an upgrade and truthfully I was looking to buy a new phone as I originally had a nokia 6600, which as you may well know is nearly the size of a brick (although the nokia n95 isn't really any smaller). Anyway the o2 supervisor asked me which type of contract I wanted which got sorted but I wanted the 'newest phone out' which at that time was the nokia N95. When the o2 supervisor mentioned it had a navigation system, I thought 'I'll have that please' so agreed to buy it on contract. I didn't know which colours they had and which colour I was going to get but I came to have the plum colour one, which I preferred in...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: Too many to mention Disadvantages: disappointing sat nav
...I recently purchased the Nokia N95 I have now had it for about two weeks, I haven't had a chance to use all the features, but have used quite a few and had a play around. So thought I would write a review and then update it as I try more and more of the features.
The N95 is packed with features and this review could last for days if I explained them all. I'm going to concentrate on the most used and interesting features.
Lets start with the look and the screen size:
I like Nokias and am a fan and I haven't been disappointed with the look and feel of the N95. My other half has a Nokia N73 and when they are side by side the phones look very similar the difference and in my opinion the benefit of the N95 is the screen size. The screen is large for such a compact phone, it is 2.6 inch all the technical specifications can be found...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: Good quality with plenty of great features and applications Disadvantages: Short battery life, may occasionally freeze
...The Nokia n95 was first released on sale in the UK at the beginning of 2007. It was one of the most advanced phones available at this time. It has a lot to offer the owner. First of all, the display is a 240 x 360 TFT display with ambient light detector and up to 16million different colours to take your fancy. The display is quite clear with not a lot of icons to clutter up the space.
The signal and battery levels are illustrated in the top corners of the screen split either side of the time and the profile selection, e.g. silent, general, and meeting. Beneath this we have the main tabs showing from left to right; the contacts list, radio DJ, bluetooth, web, gallery and maps. The calendar is hidden below this and can be opened to view dates and set reminders for birthdays etc. These reminders appear on the main display screen which is...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: good camera, lots of features Disadvantages: expensive
...Before purchasing the N95 as part of my latest contract with the carphone warehouse I decided to do my own research on it. I read very mixed reviews on it. Some people were saying that it was the best phone they'd ever bought, yet others practically slated it for things such as use of battery life, size, slowness.
Nethertheless, I decided to go with it anyway after experimenting with a friends N95 and absolutely loving it. I loved the way it looked as it had a good sized screen, a good weight, not too big or small and of course being a fan of photography I liked the fact it had a 5megapixel carl zeiss lens. I also liked the way the phone slides both ways. The first to reveal the keypad for sms, menu options etc. And the other way for use of the music player contols.
So heres a breakdown of what I think about some of its main...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: Good sound performance and other cool featuers Disadvantages: A bit large in size
...Well, I have been using nokia N95 for quite some time now and I never regret it. To start with, Once I was completely a hater of nokia brand in general since I discovered the great N95. I have been using only Motorola brand head set, till I discovered N95. Yes, this N95 thing made me to start love nokia brands.
This phone has many cool features including the 5 mega pixel camera. Another good thing about it is the music player. The sounds are very good than the previous one I was using .
Also one thing I dont like about is its size. Its a bit large when compared to the previous head set I was been using. But that was nothing compared to N95 for other cool stuffs and features it has. I have been using it since 9 months now and I never felt regret of it. Earlier I was a bit worried about the prize, since there is a huge prize...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: Endless features, great camera Disadvantages: Can get confused sometimes and freeze
...The nokia N95 is a mobile which promises everything but the delivery is not always there. I have had my N95 for over a year now and there are many pros and cons to the mobile. Fistly it is equipped with everything one needs on a mobile. It even has its own barcode reader which allows one to find information on particular magazines and newspapers. The phones 5 megapixel camera is the best phone camera I have ever had and has produced some of the best pictures I have. The phone has many features like the dual slide system which is handy for viewing photos, videos and especially for playing songs. It is a very easy to use mobile but i believe it has too many features and that i am still discovering new ones now!! The recording quality is extremely good with high quality videos being produced.
It looks great and has a sleek...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: everythin rolled into one to make it ultra portable Disadvantages: music quality and sat-nav (discussed)
...Every now and then a manufaturer develops a product that promises to revolutionise the market. With a combination of sat nav, a media player, a huge 5-megapixel camera and revolutionary - if you'll excuse the repetition - 2 way slide, the N95 shapes up nicely to become such a product.
the layout
push the screen up, and let your fingers roam around the textured keyboard, or push it down to reveal a handy touch-sensitive media controller. This also switches the N95's 66mm (2.6-inch) screen into landscape mode bringing with it the stylish new 3D multimedia menu -- more of which later.
A control pad beneath the screen lets you access menus and key functions while the phone is closed, and on the sides of the phone, stereo speakers and volume keys sit along side a standard 3.5mm headphone socket and transflash memory socket behind a flap...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: Good Features Disadvantages: gets hang often
...Recently I had an upgrade from my provider, gave me a free N95 Silver, I was excited to use it initially, but after a month now, I am just satisfied. The features it has got are brilliant, but because of that the phone gets hang or stuck quiet often. I have two e.g.:
First the other day when I was trying to call, phone got jam, according to me the call was not connected as it showed no signal strength and I couldn't turn of the phone either. I tried hard using the power button and after few struggle it went off. When I put my phone back on, I got a call from same number whom I was trying to call earlier and he confirmed he had received a call and he couldn't hear me. This means I was charged for my call.
Secondly on another occasion, the phone was stuck again and when I restarted I received an incoming call but the person told me...

Review of Nokia N95
Advantages: 3.5G MT and 5MG Camera Disadvantages: Only the price
...I have been admiring this mobile for quite a while before poppin into the local Vodaahphone shop and jumping in feet first. What I love about this mobile is that it just seems to have an elegance to it. Nothing is a hassle, the interface is slick and smooth without too much menu complications. It perfect for you none technical folk out their who perfer a simple mobile and who don't like trawling through all those Spanish, Japanese, instructions. The Nokia N95 is a high tech mobile which carry-on all those recognisable Nokia traits that any techno tortoise can follow. The graphics are delightful without going over the top, it reminds me of my first 3G phone. Yeah I do think the Nokia N95 is revolutionary... it is the next step towards 4G mobile phone media. The internal storage alone makes the N95 more capable of carrying digital data...
