...The NAD C 315 BEE stereo integrated amplifier beat the Cambridge Azur 340A SE when the british magazine hi-fi world put them against one another. The C315 BEE received 5 globes out of 5 (in Jan 2008 issue). Sound quality is incredible at this price. Performs beyond specs due to Powerdrive-S and Soft Clipping. Great stereo separation. In my opinion this is by far the best stereo amp at this price! Better than Denon 500 PMA and Cambridge 540A SE. If you want a good amp do yourself a favor and give this a listen. Beware this is a Stereo integrated amp, so there is no surround. Good Bass. Tone Defeat switch so you can bypass the Treble and Bass control circuits if you're not using them. The NAD musically slams into the market

Advantages: Plenty of slam, bass depth, wide soundstage
Disadvantages: Typical "dull" NAD looks, little else at this price

...I have been a fan of NAD electronics ever since the extremely infuriating moment when my first amplifier, a Rotel, suddenly cut itself off and the sound was never to return. I have to say with my previous 2 amps which have been NAD amplifiers, I am very impressed. Essentially NAD have 2 unmistakable characteristics; firstly their unassuming and arguably bland looks but more importantly, they also feature highly on the words sound quality. So with this latest offering of NAD I was of course eager to find out how these new one fared against the rest of the competition and whether this would continue NAD's tradition of putting sound quality first. NAD amp makes the music sing

...NAD have an extremely proud reputation of making not only very good quality amps but also positioning them at a surprisingly budget level. The NAD C320 is certainly nothing special to look at, looking quite chunky but very rebust with it. In fact the build quality is something which has been focused on. The fact that the NAD does not have a huge wattage per chanel does not mean that the NAD is left wanting for power. Despite the fairly low wattage, this is a very conservative rating and this is apparent when used on any sensitive speaker. T The volume dial can be turned up to high volumes without any audible adverse reactions. The amplifier is able to stay in control of the music without introducing any kind of distortion into the sonics. A Bee and A Human???

...As a fan of animated animal movies such as Happy Feet and Finding Nemo, I was pleased to see adverts for Bee Movie - it just looked so cute, of course I had to give it a try! In case you couldn't guess from the title, Bee Movie is based around, well, bees. More specifically, it is about a young bee called Barry who just can't decide what he wants to do with his life. It is traditional for all of the bees to only work in one job for their entire life, and he just can't choose which area is right for him. He decides to give pollen collecting a go, however whilst out collecting pollen he gets trapped in the rain and ends up inside a human house where everybody tries to kill him - with the exception of a woman called Vanessa who saves his life. And, somewhat oddly, he ends up falling in love with her. He begins to visit her frequently...

WAY Bee-low par.

Advantages: Looks good
Disadvantages: Weak plot, even worse science

...CAVEAT/WARNING! Let me warn you in advance I am going to ruin the plot, mainly to debunk the science but also to save you a precious few hours of your life by helping you not waste them watching this movie. Bee Movie looks pretty but is incredibly low on plot and storyline. Take the idea that a bee (called Barry) whose just graduated (with a very weak joke about the shortness of the bee lifestyle) and is about to choose his job and place in life but decides he's unhappy with his life. But hang on! He HASN'T even GOT a life yet! So how can he be unhappy with it? Nope, he's unhappy at the prospect of his life. So big deal, so are over 90% of the working population! Live with it! So Barry goes out with the fliers, sees the outside would and meets and is saved by a human who he talks to breaking 25 million years of tradition. Hmmm...

Nads leaves Nada

Advantages: easy to use, natural, no heating

...Now lets get personal guys. I normally wax my own body, yup I do the whole works, legs, bikini, and under-arms. Luckily I have fair hair so it doesn’t show when it is growing in, but waxing at home saves me a lot of money. I recently bought Nad’s Australian wax on Ebay from a real life Ozzy. All in all including postage from Australia it cost me about £16. Now if you think about it, a half leg wax costs about a tenner, a bikini and an underarm wax cost about £6 each so all in all a hair-trimming session in a beautician can come up to £22. I’ve tried lots of waxing products and I have to say that the strips don’t really do it for me, they are too skimpy on the wax and are not really value for money. Also they say that they are re-useable but hey, once you have a wax strip covered in hairs do you really...

...struggle to see how it could produce so much sound with no obvious speakers located at the front and sides. The speakers are blended into the finish and can provide sounds at a whisper or leave the surface on which it stands vibrating when cranked up to the max. Being a full digital television it will still work when the UK switches over and with teletext, energy saving, sleeper, multi language menus and an easy to grasp auto tune feature this television really is the bees knees and I would recommend it ten times out of ten....

...I've often looked at Burt's Bees products and thought they must be good with all their natural ingredients, so I recently made my first purchase from them - a Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil, which cost me a measly £3.49 from Boots. The lip balm comes in the usual stick form with a twist-up action like a lipstick. The tube is yellow and it has a pink pull-off lid. The stick contains 0.15oz, or 4.25g, of product, which is pretty much average for a lip balm. Burt's Bees say that this replenishing and hydrating natural lip balm is infused with the antioxidant goodness of pomegranate oil. It replenishes moisture to reveal smooth, healthy lips, while it coats them for an even-toned appearance. The balm is quite solid and waxy but when it's applied to the lips it goes on smoothly and feels pleasantly smooth...
