Advantages: Gary Oldman rocks, you can scare your kids into not doing heroin!!
Disadvantages: The start of the film is pants, Chole Webb's portrayal of Nancy makes you cringe

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. ...Well it’s been a while now since I wrote anything but I have been rather busy of late. For anyone that has read my opinions before, you will know that I love to cook as it is one thing that I am really good at. I thought for this one I would share with you a few of my recipes. Nancy’s Shepherd's Pie Mix into a bowl 2lb minced lamb 1 onion chopped and diced salt and pepper (or a few optional spices) 3 knobs of butter or margarine 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil 4 tablespoons of plain flour 1 tablespoon of Tomato puree 2 OXO cubes Put the lamb into a frying pan and cook until the lamb is a nice brownish colour. Advantages: Brilliantly written.
Disadvantages: Some bad language, but all in context.

...saves his fathers life and this marks a change in their relationship, Charlie becomes the strong, capable one and his father, Charles becomes weaker and somehow resentful rather than grateful. There are more, so many more. SO WILL YOU ENJOY IT? This novel can be read on many levels, if the symbolism goes over your head thats fine because its a good story, you really want to know how things will work out for each character. If you enjoy a bloody well written multi-layered novel then there is plenty here to keep you happy, this is no AGA saga. The standard of writing is high and I will definitely be looking for other books by this author.
