2nd Generation 2gb Ipod Nano
Review of Apple iPod Nano 2GB Second Generation by
AshR3006
Advantages: Excellent size, sound quality and navigation
Disadvantages: Headphones break to easily
...I bought my Ipod Nano off the internet so I got a much more reasonable price than in the shops and I would recommend buying from the internet! I much prefer this model of Ipod Nano to the first generation model as the new design means it doesnt show finger prints and other marks as easily. Ipods are brilliant because they are so easy to navigate and because of their size they can be kept just about anywhere. However I know some people who also find the size and lightness of the Ipod a disadvantage as it means it is easy to misplace. The only disadvantage I am yet to fine with Ipods is the headphones, I find they tend to break quite easily, by break I mean that one of the headphones begins to crackle which when played at a loud volume can hurt the ear. I know a few people that have had this problem with Ipod headphones...

Review of Apple iPod Nano 8GB Second Generation by
zikiman
Advantages: really great design, super sexy, battery life
Disadvantages: like always, battery life, earphone, it gets broken quite easily
...I'm not going to talk about the specifications in detail since you can browse it through the apple website and this review is going to be a bit personal.
My experience with Ipods? - crap~~~
I have to say that ipod is ok~, they are not that great to have. First ipod i had was ipod 3G and that ipod was ok until one day, the screen broke on me, so i got a repair from Apple since i was under the one year guarantee however, whenever i received it, it was already broken. So i sent it off again, and which then i received a normal ipod which actually worked. I used this until the screen broke AGAIN, which then i totally gave up and did not buy another ipod for another year. Then Ipod Nano 2nd Generation came out and i was immediately stunned by the design. I didn't really care how much money i had in my bank and i just bought it for myself...

The new ipod generation
Review of Apple iPod nano 4 GB by
ILIKEMONEY
Advantages: Lots of memory, small, long battery life
Disadvantages: scrathes easily
...Ok, I have always been a fan of ipods ever since they came out. I have never owned one until this one came out, as I never could save up enough money. Lots of my friends had them but I just stuck with my phone. The only problem with that was my phone was running out of memory fast. I love music and the little memory card was full in days.
There have been 2 versions of the apple ipod nano and this is the latest version, or second generation. The first generation was the first of its kind, small and lots of memory. The 2nd gen. nano only came out for the Christmas market this year. They brought out lots of different colours and even a product red one (for HIV in Africa). Apple also made an 8GB nano in the 2nd gen. range and It has been a great success. There are big differences between the 2 different types of nano and I will tell you...

iRecommend iPod Nano
Review of Apple iPod nano 4 GB by
MatthewJGB
Advantages: Colour Screen, Games, Upto 1000 Songs, Easy To Use
Disadvantages: Battery Wears Down After A Few Months
...Pod for a couple of hours a day for 8 months, i can barely get an hour in. This is one of the very few faults i found with my Nano.
Also, listening to the same songs is a little dull and so you get a few games which are great to play, including the infamous Brick, Solitaire and The Music Quiz which tests your knowledge of your own song as you guess what song is playing. A lot more entertaining than it seems. The only fault is that bar the iPod Shuffle, the iPod Nano 2nd generation is the only iPod that you cannot purchase games for through the iTunes store, which is our next stop in the review.
As anyone will know, Apples iTunes and iPod work seamlessly together like an old married couple and it is amazingly easy to operate even if you are a technophobe. Simply hook up your iPod to your computer using the enclosed USB connector and on i...

Red iPod Nano Special Edition 8GB
Review of Apple iPod nano RED Special Edition 8GB by
abisurveying
Advantages: Sleek design, style and sound quality
Disadvantages: Need to purchase accessories
...Having heard mixed reviews of the reliability of various aspects of the iPod nano, I ordered this product with some apprehension.
However, this 2nd generation nano has refuted all the negative claims made against the nano.
The design is exactly what you would expect from Apple - sleek and stylish, minimalistic and practical, something to be proud to be seen with! This iPod is surprisingly easy to use, with a simple click wheel system which is very responsive to the touch.
Uploading songs from iTunes is done at the touch of a button, and organised on the iPod just as they have been on iTunes, including automatically created playlists such as 'Most Played'.
The 8gb memory means that the iPod can store up to 2,000 songs - plenty for even avid music collectors. And, most importantly, the sound quality is simply flawless. CD quality...

iPod Nano. Apples little sexy iPod baby.
Review of Apple iPod nano 8 GB by
crowlord
Advantages: Tiny, massive storage, excellent navigation, great sound, Looks great.
Disadvantages: Tied into iTunes. Has an image of conformity.
...addon, not included with unit)
Now the cons.
It crashes, not constantly but about 3 times in the 3 months I've had it. Rebooting is a snip but is a trick hidden away in the manual (Switch hold on the off then hold down up and select if anyone is wondering)
The dial is a little to delicate sometimes and my chubby fingers often catch it when hitting the centre button.
Headphones aren't great and irritate the ears a bit. However if replaced the sound output is absolutely stunning.
Just to confirm, I don't work for Apple, I hate Apple. I have a PC and would never consider a mac. Well then again if they are 1% as good as the 2nd generation iPod Nano is shaping up to be maybe i will taker just a little look.
Expensive but really is worth it....

iPod Nano 2GB Second Generation
Review of Apple iPod Nano 2GB Second Generation by
peterb1982
Advantages: Small and Compact, Sleek Look and Great Sound Quality.
Disadvantages: Easy to misplace due to size.
...I bought this ipod nano when they were first released in the United States, and having previously owned the ipod mini was extremely surprised at how small and compact this product is,which is brilliant for when i go to the gym and nice and light to carry when i'm travelling. The size and weight do not in any way compromise the quality and durability of this product, being both incredibly easy to set up and to use.
I would highly recommend this product to anybody, as it is not only so easy to use but the sound quality, sleek look and overall style of the ipod goes without compare.
The colour screen gives an air of added decadence to the product with the option to not only store music, but to also store your favourite photo's.
The ipod nano is without a doubt good value for money and a sound investment....

Apple iPod Nano Product RED (3rd Generation)
Review of Apple IPOD NANO Product RED (3.GEN.) by
olliebradley
Advantages: Supports a charity, great new OS, new interface, great quality, looks smart, very easy to use
Disadvantages: Apple iPod disadvantages, i.e. - no support for WMA, restrictive use of iTunes
...In September 2007, digital media-leader Apple released their 3rd generation iPod Nano. This latest version is a real upgrade from the previous Nano devices. Apple have taken all the features from the popular iPod video and shrunk them down into a smaller, more affordable package.
The first thing you notice from previous generations of the Nano is that Apple have taken the classic and made it smaller. The device feels great to hold, being incredibly thin and light. This generation of Nanos plays back video, which can just about be viewed comfortably on the 2 inch screen. It also features Apple's latest operating system which has many improvements over the previous version, such as Cover Flow (where you can scroll through all your album art in a smooth, 3D transition), a slightly more accessible interface and a few extra re...

Nano-Nano without Mork and Mindy!!
Review of Apple iPod Nano 8GB Second Generation by
jonb3
Advantages: Ease of use and sleek design.
Disadvantages: screen a little small for older viewers
...First Impressions.
The compact design is excellent and so much better than the first generation for feel and durability. It now has a metal case front and rear and has lost the terrible plastic front that was very prone to scratching on the first generation.
The i pod nano is more compact and stylish than the i pod video but with less storage capacity and functionality.
What can it do?
The nano can be used to play music, store photos or any other file when you enable the hard drive through i tunes.
It comes with some pre-loaded games to pass a little time if you have any spare! You can also download at a reasonable price additional games from i tunes.
You have the stop watch facility and calender which I have yet to use along with an address book which is generated from your PC or Mac.
The fact that the i pod can...
