...I notice no one has reviewed Nature Babies nappy wraps for quite some time - this is a travesty!! I am here to help. As you will see from one of my previous reviews, I use Motherease Onesize reusable nappies on my daughter and have been very pleased with them and their wraps. There does however come a time when you feel that you want something a bit more funky for your little one's bum (motherease wraps are a bit dull), and this is where Nature Babies wraps come in? I found them on the website www.kittykins.co.uk which is a very easy to navigate website and it also does lots of other makes of nappies & accessories, but I've found it to be the best stockist for Nature Babies. The wraps that I am going to describe are called a 'MULTIWRAP' which I think is a fairly new addition to their collection but it really is a lovely wrap...

What shall we wrap the baby in?

Advantages: very cute, adjustable and have good range of sizes
Disadvantages: Can some time leak, so not good for heavy wetters

It's a wrap!

...When I was at Asda late last night, I stopped by the fridge section to browse the prepared sandwiches. A particular Weight Watchers selection caught my eye; several wraps ranging from Chicken Caesar to Fajita. Checking the date on a Chicken Fajita Wrap, I realised that it still had two days until it expired, so I thought it was worth popping into the trolley and saving for lunch the next day! So, raring to try the new-to-me product, I sat myself down at lunch time, with the wrap now out of its plastic wrapper and cardboard holder, and sitting across my plate. It was a nice size, about the 20cm in length, or it would have been if it hadn't somehow split itself in half!. The wrap was a pale floury colour, pretty much like most other wraps I had tried. It was quite enclosed, not much indication as to what the contents packed inside...

Nature Babies Adjustable wraps

Advantages: Easy to use even for someone with no pervious experience. Fantastic colour choices.
Disadvantages: Haven't found any yet.

...I needed to keep nappy costs low so I decided on 24 prefolds £38(from Naturally Nappies they were very knowledgeable as they have tried all the nappies on the market)and 5 newborn / small Nature Babies Adjustable wraps (£6.99 each)£34.95 (from Nature Babies who delivered the wraps the next day)a total cost of £72.95. I was amazed by the colours of the covers modern not like any of the others I'd seen. The sizing is generous on my long thin daughter who is still in the newborn/small on smallest setting even though she is 11lb but this also fitted well with no leaks at 8lb. The sizes quoted by the manufacturer are n/s 6-12lb, s/m 10-28lb, l 26-36lb (all are £6.99 each). I will update when my daughters weight when she moves in the next size. I wash the nappies and fleece liners (I made myself from a fleece blanket. I just cut out 24...

You can also have the chance to buy 3 packs for £10.00, therefore saving lots of money on something which is a must not a want! Examples of other nappies are as follows based on prices from Boots: Boots Own Brand - £3.99 (32 in pack) Pampers - £3.79 (18 in pack) As you can see, own brands are almost identical in price, and known brands are more expensive as you are paying for less nappies. Review of Pampers Nappies

Chicken Caesar Wrap: A yummy lunchtime treat.

Advantages: Great taste, handy packaging, pre-sliced in half.
Disadvantages: A little pricey.

...When browsing the aisles of Tesco for some lunch this afternoon I decided to purchase this wrap as I love chicken and always try to incorporate something slightly healthy in to my diet wherever possible (the lettuce passes as healthy!). The wrap is a tomato tortilla and was nice and firm around the base of each half and a little more soggy towards the top as the Caesar salad dressing has soaked in to it. There was quite a lot of dressing which was fine for me as I don't mind the extra calories, the lettuce was lovely and crisp and the one I had selected from the shelf had lots of delicious sliced chicken. The chicken was very tasty and cooked well, the whole wrap worked very well together. I can imagine that the soggy part of the wrap might be too much for some people so I would advise keeping an eye out for this before purchasing...
