...Introduction Whilst out shopping my wife suddenly decided that she needed a new phone as she wasn?t happy with her LG Cookie that she had only had for six months. As she is on a sim only contract, it meant that we would have to pay for a new phone for her. Previously she has always liked Samsung phones so when she saw the newly released B3310, she decided it was the one for her. Purchasing the phone We bought the phone in-store from the Carphone Warehouse for £49.95 but we also had to buy £10 airtime on top of this. If we had chosen not to buy the airtime then the phone would have cost £99.95 instead which seemed a bit strange but evidently all phone manufacturers do this. Navigon stuns the market with innovations again

Advantages: Feature rich, easy to use, bluetooth to your phone for handsfree
Disadvantages: Doesn't have the community features that TomTom has.

...I've had the Navigon 7110 for well over a year, and as my 1st Sat-Nav I have to say I've been extremely impressed. I researched the market before buying, delving into forums, countless reviews and reached the conclusion that a TOMTOM = p*ss-poor. I found the Navigon and it was a breath of fresh air, it was the only sat nav that looked really really stylish (then). The 7110 has europe maps, and the 7100 has UK and Ireland maps, there is a £30 price difference between them. Navigon 8110: a good design but very poor support

...I purchased the Navigon 8110 about a month ago. From the start it wasn't doing what it was supposed to do: navigating. No gps reception, no gps receiver icon on the screen. So, after two days of trying and re-trying I tried to call the support desk. For about 5 times (each time 10 minutes waiting) no luck, the sixth time I called the sales dept. and within 3 seconds the phone was picked up! The lady promised me to send me the details for sending the device to the company for a repair. I wanted a new device because in this one I had no faith anymore. Next day: no mail received. Once again I called the support dept, this time it took me 3 times; and this time I was more lucky. The device was picked up the same day. After 2 weeks I received the same device. Now I had a gps icon on the screen, and after a hard reset it was functioning...

A great feature on this phone is that you can send both standard and extra long text messages, up to three in one go, although it probably does charge you that much extra. 3310 - THE phone for technophobes

Advantages: A classic mobile phone, now very cheap

...Well, its a nokia. That almost guarantees quality. It has the usual visual layout of the nokia phones, and the menu is the same as on past nokias. It has the usual nokia games, that do look better than on past models. It has a ring tone composer, and you can send and receive ring tones as well as operator logos that appear on the top of the screen. The 3310 is extremely good looking, I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I know lots of people that feel the same way. The buttons have been precisely designed to be exactly the right size, and right distance apart, allowing extreme ease of use. The screen is perfect, not too small as on some alternative. 3310 - Never again

Advantages: Great features, looks good with silver facia, robust feel

...Having had a 3210 for the past year & being very happy with it, I decided to 'upgrade' to the Nokia 3310. The first 3310 I had kept freezing and asking for me to 'insert a SIM card'. In the middle of conversations it decided to switch itself off. Fair enough - one off faulty phone. So I got this replaced. The second phone seemed to be ok so I purchased a silver Nokia facia for it. The originally blueish/grey cover was horrible but the silver facia seemed to give me a whole new phone. It looked really smart and I was very happy with it. Until.....this one started to freeze & switch itself off (a common problem I was told by the seller because the phone was a new Nokia product).
