Are you looking to get the best Sat Nav system on the market with all the bells and whistles on it? No. Neither was I. To be honest what I needed was a basic system to tell me to turn at the correct point to ensure that I did not spend time getting lost and swearing loudly at anything and everyone. After browsing the net for a few days I found that I could get the 320i for just over £150 delivered. That to me seemed like very good value so I clicked away and got the system a few days later. The manual that came with it is quite poor to be honest. But within 10 mins I had plugged all the various bits in and waited to get signal to tell me where I was. Don't Go Round The Houses Ever Again.

Advantages: Affordable, stylish and simple to use.
Disadvantages: None as yet.

Occasionally the voice gets on my nerves, especially if it's a town centre when every turn warrants an instruction. It's blessed relief when on a motorway and you hear the words "Continue for 24 kms" You know that you can relax and you won't be bothered for a while. The Navman also has a Back-On-Track facility which automatically recalculates your trip for when you have the radio on too loud that you miss a turn. Good, Bad and Indifferent

Advantages: Good entry-level Sat Nav system. Good price.
Disadvantages: Has its limitations.

Navman ST raight through

Advantages: Gets you there, is upgradable

...Having recently purchased my Navman PiN 570 and having used it for a few months I discovered that some streets were missing from the mapping software. A quick visit to Navman's website soon remedied this problem. I simply followed the easy instructions to update my Navman ST software to the 2005 version. After a few clicks and a few minutes the software was installed on my PC. After running for the first time I was asked to complete some simple questions and to connect my Navman PiN to the PC. Once this had been accomplished it was just a case of re-entering my original software serial number to verify my details which I had previously registered with Navman. A package of maps worth having

...Having used a Tom Tom Go 700 for a number of years, I decided to update the maps of Western Europe. Tom Tom uses software called Tom Tom Home which is used to download the updated maps. Having connected Tom Tom Go 700 to my PC, via a USB cable, it was a simple matter of clicling on the relevant icon on the Home Software, paying for the maps, and downloading them over the internet. Payment was straight forward. It is undertaken electronically either by credit or debit card, and the down load commenced. Because of the size of the map file, it took a little time to download (I do have broadband running at 8mb band width, so I suppose a lesser bandwith will take longer. Use of the system is simplicity itself. You are given a choice of country, and then you select address, or point of interest....

Advantages: Too many to list. Excellent value, efficient and easy to use
Disadvantages: It has a car charger, not an ac charger. Is that too bad?

I first heard this album when I was given a free taster to it, which played about 30 seconds of each song; this then led me to buy the full album. Advantages: Good sound quality, Excellent re-route calculation.
Disadvantages: Gets a litte confused in busy cities due to the volume of roads.
