...Castlevania Dawn of sorrow… It was this game that actually inspired me to get an NDS. I'm addicted to my PC, so you can imagine that was no small feat. I bought CDoS on the day it was released in the UK, and I'm still playing it to this day, nearly everyday, for at least an hour. Whether I'm collecting souls or just hacking and slashing at different enemies, I'm always satisfied. And with the extra modes on completing the main story, you could be playing for months. I know I have been. Gameplay: VERY addictive. There are 113 souls to collect, and most of them can be made stronger by collecting the same type up to 9 times. Each soul gives you a new, unique ability. ...As I began to progress as a golfer I decided that I needed to splash out on a good set of Irons. My pro had told me that a good set of irons can tkae up to 3 strokes of your score. I think that he is wrong and that it is more like 5-6! These clubs are that good. Firstly the NDS stands for the Nike Distance Serires. So reading that you may think that you lose control if you use the set. That is definately not true as progressive offsetting technique throughout the set allows for perfect ball shaping. The wide sole of the club allows for excellent connection with the club and compared to the modern club these are relatively heavily. I found this extremely helpful as it stopped me hitting semi-fatted shots and topping my shots. THe NDS's are also cast from 431 stainless steel which is 25% softer than the average 17... Advantages: 32 tracks, Wi-Fi compatible, Free Wi-Fi connection, Easy to set up Wi-Fi, beautiful graphics and sound, 12 selectable characters and 36 karts.
Disadvantages: Characters: missing Kooper Trooper, where did R.O.B come from?, Wi-Fi features are limited.

...Anyone who has read my other Spyro review knows how I adore Spyro, hence my DH (Darling Husband) bought me the NDS for my birthday (alas, I know I'm too old really) and along with the Mario Kart package, he added this game. It was all bundled in for £109.99 at Game. Spyro alone now ranges from £25.49 at Choices.co.uk to £29.99 at Game itself. **The Game Plan** You enter the game to find a nice simple task, get out of the room!!!! It's easy to find the key, you then go downstairs and light a fire, before running Bianca off the island (but in a nice way!). They are simple enough tasks and allow the user to gain full confidence in the (dodgy) controls. Spyro is left behind, and then, drum roll, the Elders go missing. The Elders are fully qualified dragons in combat, but not in conversation. Spyro's task is to rescue them all... Read review

...I remember playing Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) when I was at middle school back in 1991 or 1992. I remember playing on it for hours and hours, betting my 50p pocket money with my sister as to who could get the furthest using only one life and then arguing for hours afterwards once one of us became poor. At that time the 8 bit graphics, sound effects and 2 dimensional game play was the pinnacle in technology. Time and technology has moved on at a considerable rate but, unfortunately, Super Mario for the NDS has not kept up at the same rate……… Story Line ************ Princess Daisy has been kidnapped by Kupa and it is Mario's job to go and rescue her. Advantages: Graphic Adverture style game! (Sort of) Cerebral, Strong Story based
Disadvantages: Quite short, Little replay value, Graphics are limited.

...you're supposed to defend, you may not enjoy this! But in saying that, obviously the all characters encountered are interesting and amusing - not to mention the amusement from spotting comments that are "lost in translation" from Japanese! (E.g. A character saying her favourite food are burgers and another character offers to take her to "a little burger place she knows" - A poor substitute for Sushi perhaps?) Also just to note, the game is remake of the first game in a Japanese series, of four, on the GameBoy Advance called "Gyakuten Saiban" - literally "Turnabout Court". An English / European version was released, in the form of Phoenix Wright, which is a remake of the first Gyakuten Saiban game. The feature of this English / European game is the inclusion of a special NDS touch screen gameplay, as the original game... Read review
